You have to try this place!!! Every time I eat from TJ’s it is TOPNOTCH. The pizza is perfect with fresh ingredients and just the right crunchy/chewy crust. The Meatball Lasagna is also amazing. The meatballs taste like they’re made from scratch, not from a frozen grocery store bag. Everything taste like homemade. Plus, the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The delivery staff is great as well. Always bringing your dinner with kind words and a smile on their face. Even in the rain. You won’t regret ordering from TJ’s Pizza.

First time ordering from here. Ordered their Garlic Parmesan wings and Thai BBQ wings with potato wedges and mozzarella sticks. The guy on the phone said it would take 40 minutes, the food took almost an hour and a half. Nothing great about the food, it wasn’t terrible, just very average. The Garlic Parmesan had no taste to it, friend and I debated whether this was even Garlic Parmesan. Mozzarella sticks and potato wedges tasted like they were cooked under a heat lamp. Also, found hair in my wings! Disgusting. Overall, probably would not order from here again unless every other place in Denton was closed.

I love TJs, and would give them five stars, but tonight after a ridiculously long day at work I ordered pizza online. Picked up the pizza and cheese sticks. Didn’t bother to check them because I’ve never had a problem. Drive home, clear across town. When I get home, the pizza is wrong, the cheese sticks are wrong. I call the store thinking maybe they gave me the wrong order. Nope, no apology, no reason. Just«if you want to bring it back we will fix it for you» I wasn’t driving back all the way across town just for them to fix it. Little disappointed that there wasn’t a better customer service. This probably won’t stop me from ordering again, but like I said disappointed in the service.

Nothing to write home about. It’s not bad. However, the price is beyond what it is worth. The delivery was average speed but the guy was fairly blunted. They have lots of kooky kinds of pizza and fly under the banner of «gourmet» but we found it to be just as tasty as most other places. Overall, average. I was hoping for more since there were some pretty great reviews. I think overall I’m most disappointed in what we got for our money.

I’ve ordered twice from TJ’s; both times, Matt delivered my food. Today was my second time ordering from them, a large Chicken & Artichoke pizza and two strawberry cheesecakes. I’m beyond pleased with the quality of their food, the speediness of the delivery, and the good attitudes of the team members.

Best wings I’ve had in my life. This is not for the pizza but for the wings. If I dont write more they will make it a tip and not a review. But seriously good wings. They are so, so good. The pizza is ok. The wings are goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood.

Fantastic Pie! And Calzones?!? This food is good, and the staff are laid back in the best way. If they seem busy when they answer the phine, its because they probably are…

Good food. But if you’re ordering delivery, add another 30 – 45 minutes to the 45 minutes they initially tell you it will take.

The venerable sage rooted through the dusty drawers and cupboards of his apothecary laboratory and amidst the spells and recipes and alchemy instructions found little with which to abate his terrible, most horrific suffering. Pangs of agony emanated from his innards, resulting from a Level 37 curse of unending hunger, which his nemesis, Dalfich the Unfathomable, had managed to cast upon him despite the wards of protection that littered his home and workshop. No doubt there were imps at work, undermining his protection from the dark sorcery beset upon him, yet he had not the energy to dispel their trickery. They wriggled around in the walls and jeered at him, chuckling uncontrollably, and multiplying. It was only by the grace of his trusty companion, Lillion, the bearded fruit bat, that he sent for help from his companions at TJ’s before collapsing onto his alchemist’s table. They arrived forthright, frantic even, and found their hero but a breath from doom. But Lo! A meatball sub with a level 60 rejuvenation enchantment, coupled with the sweet buttery cheese sticks of karmic healing and hot, saucy wings plucked from the backs of baby Pegasus restored him to fighting form, and fight he would, indeed. It was cold the morning Dalfich the Unfathomable met his fate. As he strolled magnanimously down the crowded streets, taco in hand, they seemed to empty before his eyes. From a shadowy alley, our hero emerged. Dalfich was astounded; how had his spell been lifted? He dropped his taco to the mortar and stone below, and clenched his fists. «TJ’s, those treacherous bastards!» Even the imps could not have known. His hands were covered in sauce. His Staff of Reckoning slipped from his hands and clattered loudly in the silent street. Our hero only smiled. ANDTHENPRODUCED A SWORDANDCUTOFFDALFICH’S FUCKINGHEAD. This is one of the few places that actually delivers to my work! Strange since I work about 2 blocks past the square, huh? They are always very fast even during their peak business hours. Everyone I’ve spoken to has always been friendly, and their Mediterranean Sub is amazing!

I can’t say enough good things about this place. The food is great, prices are cheap, atmosphere is fun, drinks are strong, and service is wonderful. We stopped by for a late dinner with a few friends and decided to try everything on the menu. It did not disappoint! Highlights include brussel sprouts, bahn mi buns, tater tots, meatballs, bacon jam… literally just about everything.

What!!! Denton has a pizza place worthy of national attention! This pizza was delivered so fast! Let me tell ya about this pizza, so good! Still piping hot and delicious! We got the veggie wedgie and added Italian sausage… best decision I’ve made all week! We also ordered their chicken wings… the meat was literally falling off the bone! Mouth is watering right now just thinking about it!

Best wings I’ve ever tasted. Baked in pizza oven so not fried. Italian sausage pizza had big slices of sausage. Love the hot wings are not dipped in sauce but the flavor is cooked into the wings.

Tjs brings me back to college. Damn. I love tjs so much every time I’m in denton I stop and take home a large royal treatment, smoked wings and chicken pesto lasagna. I will eat on it for days. Seriously I’m in denton right now and can’t wait to get my tjs fix for the year. The shrimp pizza is amazing too!

Was not impressed at all. The mozzarella sticks weren’t crispy, they had the texture of fish sticks. I had a small, thin crust pepperoni pizza and to be honest, it barely surpassed the quality of the pizza at my college’s dining hall. Some positives: Food was cheap, delivery cheaper($.75!!!). It also arrived much faster than the expected delivery time and the driver was very nice. I also had the garden salad with ranch dressing, nothing special, it’s hard to screw up a salad. I won’t be getting the pizza here again.

TJ is by far my least favorite pizza place in Denton. It’s not that terrible but not good either. I was really excited to give this place a try because my friend recommended it, but it just disappointed me. I called and placed an order to take out. It took them almost thirty minutes to get my pizza finished. Really!!? What was going on TJ? I ordered BBQ chicken pizza and it was just alright. It was just a little dry. Honestly, I like Domino’s, Papa John, and other pizza chains more. It is also a little more expensive here than Domino’s either. I have never tried their wings so I can’t complain about it. The only thing I give them three stars because they do delivery till late night for a college town.

My favorite pizza is a hybrid of two of their specialty pizzas. I order a pesto base with chicken, spinach, garlic, onions, and goat cheese. It’s my favorite comfort food from Denton, and the delivery is usually pretty quick and reliable. Sure, this is a little more expensive than pizza from a major chain, but I’d be willing to classify it as about ten times better than Papa John’s or any chain.

Maaaaan, TJ’s, you are KILLING me. TJ’s has been my go-to pizza fix in Denton for many years, but tonight was a game changer in not the best way. Let’s backtrack: TJ’s pizza has always been good to me. Quality toppings, fair enough prices, and a decent customer rewards incentive that gets you free pizza because who doesn’t want free pizza? Their toppings options make for some highly desirable pie combos and the regular crust is not too thin, not too thick. Most of the time delivery is within the 45 minute window they allot, and usually it takes less than that. Their garlic cheese bread is amazing and the presumably Cisco cheesecake is actually pretty good. All in all, I’ve never had a problem with TJ’s. Until this evening. They finally joined the present and have an online ordering module which is great. No problems there. I order my pizza, nothing crazy or complicated, and sit back with some X-Files while I wait. An hour later I am pizza-less. So, my eating fellow calls them up to make sure the order went through. It had just been dispatched and should be there momentarily. «Ok than — » phone silence. Did they just hang up on me? I think so. Few minutes later, the pizza shows up. It’s late, there are no pepper or parm condiments in the box, it’s barely warm, and wait– what? There’s no freaking sauce. Is there a sauce famine? Is there some kind of pizza strike? The pizza was still edible and was had by all, but the incentive to reorder is diminished. Especially since they also forgot my magnet.
