Ametrine Salon

Ametrine is the best place — I’m in love with my hair since I started getting it done here! I love that all of the products are not tested on animals and that everything is really high-​quality. Kat is also so awesome and fun to talk to, she’s such an interesting and open-​minded person and it makes coming to get your hair done a great experience. I would whole-​heartedly recommend Ametrine to anyone!

I have tried so many different salons and Ametrine is by far my favorite. Not only because it is a 100% vegan salon but Kat is so sweet and knowledgable. She really takes the time to get to know you which is so wonderful and rare in the industry, at least from my experience. I can literally come in and ask her what I should do with my hair and she knows perfectly every time. Thank you so much Kat!!!

I had pretty much given up hope for a decent stylist after some bad experiences with people who didn’t know how to handle curly hair. Now that I have found Kat, I am no longer nervous to get a new haircut.
Kat is incredibly friendly and welcoming and makes sure to make you feel at home. My haircut is fantastic, she was easy to talk to had clearly has the passion and skill to be an amazing stylist. She gave me great advice on a simple routine to make my wildly curly hair look good. And all of her products are vegan and cruelty free :)

Kat has great color and cut skills. She goes about the process confidently, and makes you feel like she’s really dedicated to YOU and the best possible outcome. If you ask for her opinion, she’ll give it honestly and that’s invaluable coming from someone who has experience working with different faces, hair types, etc… Sometimes what we think we want isn’t always going to work in our favor in the end. She only wants to do what is best for the integrity of your hair.
Another very important aspect of her services is her dedication to high quality, cruelty-​free and environmentally responsible products. She understands their function and can talk passionately about how and why these products work so well. They smell incredible to boot. Thanks for doing what you do, Kat! Kat is by far the most caring and passionate hair stylist I have ever had. Prior to going to Kat I had received several bad hair cuts/​colors and was hesitant about using another new stylist. She really took the time to listen to what I wanted and as a result I got exactly that. She even took the time to explain how coloring hair works, something I have never been explained before.
Aside form her talent of cutting hair, she is absolutely passionate about having a salon that is sustainable and cruelty free. I think it is amazing that she is bringing her every day values into an industry that often never thinks about this sort of thing.
