Annie’s café is a real jem of Denver breakfast spots. Were ordered the t-bird which consisted of two eggs any style with the breakfast meat of your choice(I chose corned beef hash) hash browns and two pancakes. The pancakes came out completely covering a large dinner plate and were delicious. The eggs, as requested came out soft boiled and were perfect transferring them to the top of the hash. Keith, our server, was very friendly and took care of all our breakfast requests quickly. The corn beef hash was flavorful and had a nice crispy on the outside texture the only thing that prevent giving Annie’s A fifth star was because the hash browns were not a star, they were extremely dry and had no discernible flavor. Except for this slight misstep I throughly enjoyed breakfast at Annie’s and I will be sure to come back.

I miss when I used to work off colfax because I would come to Annie’s all the time. They have a pretty good menu and staff is fairly nice. I like their grilled cheese with avocado in it is gooood. They are a little pricey for the portion size and food quality though. They don’t have too good of a beer selection, And something in there always smells a little off. I like their fries when they’re crispy and not soggy. Super yummy.

The ambience was okay. Food was okay. Service was bad. I asked for a breakfast without meat and the waitress agreed. When I got the plate, it had sausage in it. She apologized and took them off later.

I love Annie’s. Its a what you see is what you get, kinds place, which we need more of! They serve breakfast all day, and have a pretty decent menu selection. There is rarely a line on a weekend, and when there is it’s pretty speedy. Good food, not amazing but very good. And they usually do some pretty potent cocktails if you’re in the mood!

Annies is awesome becuuuuuuz: No wait on a day when breakfast joints have 25+min waits, Mac and cheese omelet with bacon add ham was genius, French toast on brioche bread is ridiculously amazing and a great carb load! Haha enjoy.

Tasty breakfast. It’s got a cute interior and good service. Every time I’ve been there it has been proper, friendly, and generous with the coffee refills. It’s a diner and the food is what you would expect from that but the breakfast burrito is always solid.

Classic Denver Café! Awesome and predictable in all ways: food, service, atmosphere, décor. You always know what you’re going to get at this great establishment for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner! I’ve been coming for years and this time decided to go healthy and had one of their salads: «Chilled Salmon» — bed of greens and kale, tossed with light vinaigrette and blackberries, topped with some avocado slices and a scoop of quinoa salad– highly recommended and different! My only recommendation is more kale as I don’t actually recall seeing it in the salad!

This was a great little spontaneous stop for me, my husband, my sister, and my 4 yr old niece. Everyone got to order something they found to be delicious. The atmosphere is comfy and welcoming. We loved it!

This restaurant has a nice, comfy atmosphere. We happened in while the Broncos playoff game was on. We were able to enjoy part of the game on their large screen tvs in the seating area by the bar. The food here was good. I stuck with a veggie burger that came with so much avocado and so many green chiles. No complaints here. Plus, the fries were perfectly cooked. My wife got the beef brisket dinner which was great, according to her. Other table mates ordered the nachos with pork green chili and the French dip sandwich. Both enjoyed their food and had leftovers. The service was probably a B+.

You can’t go wrong with Annie’s! I have spent many a Saturday and Sunday mornings bellied up at the bar having drinks and getting down on some T Bird. The concept of chilling at a bar and eating breakfast really intrigues me for some reason. This place is pretty special in that in that the décor is very old school. They don’t try to be the flashy breakfast place that has the hour wait, but rather your neighborhood breakfast joint that you know you can always go to to get some good food! Don’t think this place doesn’t get packed because it does! Their French Toast is pretty delicious and the portions are generous! Love me some Annie’s

Quoted 30 minute wait time, waited 65 mins. Had breakfast which was average. $ 36 bucks for 2 breakfasts plates of eggs and sausage, bis gravy is steep.

This is one where I would give an extra ½ star were it possible, but alas it is not. Annie’s is a nostalgic diner that truly embraces its kitch. The giant santa and elf decorations out front, the candy display in front, the lunch box garland, the 50’s era space movie playing on tv all scream throw back! The food was decent; three varieties of breakfast burrito, as well as an array of omelettes with some unique toppings(cream cheese) was nice to see. The bloody marys were pretty spicy, and reminiscent of a cheeseburger(not sure if that’s intentional, but it is memorable). Also, looks like they have a full bar, so I’d imagine they’d make you whatever you wanted(like a citrus vodka spiked mimosa a la a certain place across the street). Just an idea. All in all, a great way to start the day or end a very late night. I’d go back.

Worst Philly Cheese I’ve Ever Had By a Long shot. No flavor, almost no cheese, 2 tiny little onion pieces. It comes with au jus, but that was no help, very flavorless.(Technically it was help because the sandwich was so dry I probably couldn’t have choked it down without it.) The only thing on the plate that had any flavor was a tiny little cup of horse radish. Based on this experience, I would never set foot in the place again.

Short wait and great Mac n cheese omelet. Old school décor: lunch boxes from the 70’s and stuff. Toast was cold which was a bummer. Convenient location for us on Colfax.

I have only have gotten food to go from here and it has always been just fine. Nothing particularly fabulous or interesting but just fine. The service and staff have always been friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is diner-y and quaint. They have a nice outdoor patio which is nice when weather permits. Overall, I will likely eat here again because it is near my work and they make a solid salad.

We were in town on vacation and stumbled across this place. JACKPOT!!! This place is amazing. We had a group of 8 people and there was not one thing that was disappointed. Anything with the Chile Verde was great. Burgers were good and al of the breakfast food was good. Oh yeah the best part was they have a top shelf Bloody Mary that was perfect. Spicy and full of flavor. Do not pass this place up !!! Enjoy GP

Really delicious breakfast at a place that has a really cool relaxed vibe. I got the Irish Benedict which may be the perfect breakfast meal for me in the entire world. Corned beef hash? Check. Poached eggs? Check. Delicious hollindase sauce? Check! I almost couldn’t believe it. My husband got pancakes, bacon, eggs, etc. He seemed really satisfied with his meal too. I didn’t order any myself but I liked how they had different alcoholic breakfast drinks. Maybe its because I’m from back east, places don’t really offer alcohol at breakfast unless you’re at brunch.

Annie’s wasn’t on our list of Denver spots to try, but boy am I glad it’s here. We ended up here on a Sunday morning because the wait at the place we intended to eat nearby was ridiculous. There was a wait at Annie’s too, but it was totally reasonable. We were seated fairly quickly, and I ordered biscuits and gravy with a side of sausage. The gravy was… Meh. It was very thick and gluelike, and lacked any real flavor other than salt. It had chopped chunks of sausage patty in it– as though someone made gravy, made sausage, then combined the two. Sorry folks, but that does not equal sausage gravy. I had lemonade which probably would have tasted better if it had been cold. Room temp lemonade, not so much. My sausage patties on the side were flavorless, and not warm either. We weren’t hungry when we left, but I wouldnt go back.

I’m visiting a friend in Denver and he recommended Annie’s Café. I’m so glad he did! The atmosphere is retro 50’s and I was comfortable as soon as I walked in the door. Classic rock playing and Casablanca on the Tele. Win! I was told I should order the Monte Crisco and I was not disappointed! The buns were French toast with eggs, ham, and pepperjack. The combination was extraordinary. I had to have a drink to go with it. I’m a big fan of snickerdoodle cookies and low and behold they had a latte tart tastes just like a warm snickerdoodle right out of the oven.

OMG, I had the spicy blood mary coupled with Ramiro’s burrito and was in heaven. I can’t believe I ate the whole thing. Standard size tortilla filled with scrambled eggs, potatoes, cheese, bacon and smothered in green chili. When it comes to green chili I’m pretty picky and Annie’s didn’t disappoint. I’ve been to Annie’s many times and the food is consistently good. I love the atmosphere of Annie’s, kicked back and relaxed. Best of all we didn’t have to wait, walked right in and were immediately seated for brunch
