I LOVELOVELOVE this place!!! I can not say it enough! Alex is the best out there, I went in for a consultation for hair removal and was very pleased with the kind, warm nature of the place. I tell all my friends and co-workers about the m.pulse. I am a weekly customer for facials, my skin thanks me every time i walk out of there. The pumpkin enzyme is amazing, and so knowledgeable about skin and moisturizers, which is perfect in this dry Colorado weather. Perfect way to end the day! The hair removal is awesome also, Alex makes sure that you will have no adverse reactions to the treatment before she continues. Every time I call to adjust my appt they are more than happy to help me. I feel like a good friend is waiting for me when ever I walk in. I talk about this place all the time, it is my favorite place in all of Denver. Absolutely perfect!

I went for laser hair removal on my bikini line. When you get there they have you fill out a form where it lists«what other services they offer that you might possibly be interested in.» I purposely only check marked unwanted hair because that is what I was there for, I was not interested in anything else. They sat me down for 45 minutes and advertised all of their services for my face to me. I repeatedly stated I was not there for my face, only for laser on my bikini line, yet i had to sit and listen to them market all of their services to me. I did not sign up for 45 minutes of advertising and pressuring me to use things on my face. I even told them I had a procedure on my face done before and it made me extremely uncomfortable and I had a panic attack during it, but that did not stop her from pushing me to use their lasers on my face. During this marketing session, she used the word«kosher» to describe things. I’m not entirely sure why she thinks that is ok. As someone who is Jewish, I was insulted. Kosher is not a slang word. If you are working with people that you do not know, do not use words like that. Then(finally) the girl actually doing my procedure came in and of course started asking me more question about my face. I once again said«I am here for laser on my bikini line, not my face, I do not want t talk about my face anymore.» I had been going to a different place before I went here where they always numbed you before the procedure. I asked her if they numb and she said no because they«want you to feel the pop.» Why? Having me feel the pain does not make a difference in how well the treatment works. I think they do not use numbing because they do not have anyone on staff who can fill the prescription for the numbing gel. The actual procedure took about 2 minutes, I felt like she really rushed through it. By the time I had left I was there for an hour and a half for a procedure that only took 2 minutes. That is 1 hour and 28 minutes of advertising and 2 minutes of what I was actually there for. What a waste of my time. At the end of my procedure I went to the front desk and told them about my experience, I said I was upset because they kept pressuring me and asking personal questions about my face when I was there for something totally unrelated and she kept smiling and laughing at what I said. When someone tells you they are upset, do not laugh at them. Her response was«we ARE skin care professionals.» Ok. First of all, that does not solve anything. Second, you are not, none of you are doctors. You are people who were taught how to use the lasers, so do not try to brush me off by saying we are professionals, you are not dermatologists. I will not be going back, and I hope no one else goes there. Truly a terrible experience.
