Opens early if you’re really craving a Cuban sammich. Really good Cuban. Not the best/most authentic but pretty damn close to the real deal.

Food was amazing! After living in Florida, it is hard to find Cuban food that compares but this did. Service was very slow.

My advice… get your food to go. The sandwiches where very good, and tasty. The restaurant was full of dirty tables. Now to be fair, it was near the end of service for the day. I had to get my order to go as there were no clean tables even though there was only two groups of customers in the restaurant.

On Wednesday, December 30 my wife and I met for lunch at your place. Let me preface this by saying we love your food and I have not had a Cuban or espresso like that since my Miami years. My complaint however is with the absolute lack of service and attitude. After ten minutes of sitting at our table with no acknowledgement that we existed, I approached the register where the only waitress/bartender was chatting with a guest. I mentioned that we had been sitting there and she said that she didn’t see us, which is not accurate because my wife arrived before me and the waitress had attended the table next to her. Her response to me was, «so, what do you want?» I looked at her and said, «you know, NOTHING!» We left. We love your place and being our third visit, it’s apparent that we enjoy your restaurant but I will not go where I feel I’m not welcome. Hope this gets remedied.

Being a Miami native, I had high hopes for this place. It was nothing like what we get back home. «Authentic Cuban Coffee and Sandwiches». When I went, they did not serve me Cuban coffee and it was not made as it is in Miami. I was such a let down, I had to go to Frijoles Colorado to get my Cuban fix. Out of all the Cuban places in town, this one is the least Cuban. The owner is some guy from the keys who had a Cuban lady cook for him from time to time. Leave the Cuban food to the Cubans. Will never go there again. Looking for better and reasonably priced(compared to Cuba Cuba) Cuban food then go to Frijoles Colorado or Cuba Bakery. Cuba Cuba Sandwicheria is pretty good too.

The food is delish. The Cuban was on point down to the presentation of the sandwich. I was done with my Cuban and by that time I had to remind you if my maduros were ever coming out. Also, where is the service aspect? You are in the service industry. I witnessed an older couple get up and leave due to the lack of direction on how the ordering system works or your ability to offer the type of help and explanation they were seeking. You can see the disappointment in their faces. I was embarrassed for you. Then, another lady comes in and you completely ignore her because you were too busy having a personal conversation for over 10 minutes with the bearded guy, who I am assuming was a friend of yours. At this very minute, the lady is still waiting for some acknowledgement. I would have peaced out in this place eons ago. Oh, and finally… You just noticed the lady who is waiting for her friend. I don’t know if you are having a crappy day or things are kinda off, but, please — step up the service in your establishment. Maybe even put some signage on how the ordering process goes. Your food is good. The espresso reminded me of my miami visit. I’d love this place if things were different.

Ordered a sandwich to go, was told it would be about 45 minutes. Fair enough. I arrive, and the place has maybe 4 groups of people seated. I noticed every single one looks a bit impatient, as are the guests in front of me. I ask them if they’re waiting in line. They say they are… they think. No one’s greeted them. A staff member hurries by and says nothing to us. About 5 minutes later, one of the staff members says he’ll be right with me… from behind the expresso machine. Another 10 minutes after that, and he finally asks what I need. I say I’m here for a pickup. He rings me up, and then… walks away to do other things. Sandwich still on the shelf. About 5 minutes later, he comes back and hands me the sandwich. They were really disorganized, and the sandwich was average.

I love café con leches and of course cubano sandwiches so this place is ok in my book! The breakfast sandwiches are really good too. I just wish they would hire more people to work there. Every time we have gone it’s been one guy making the coffees, taking the orders and being the server/bussing tables so do not go here if you are in a rush! It’s going to be a slow experience but luckily, the food makes up for the lack of swift service.

Delicious I really like their paninis. I got the ayeconyo, and my gf got the cubano. We had flan for dessert and loved it. Thanks!

I loved in Miami so I can tell u this is as authentic as it gets. BEST coffee in town! Try the Cuban cortadito coffee and the Cuban sandwich. I swear it’ll remind you of Miami! Bartender Marco is a pro at making coffee and mojitos. Tip him well!

I love bringing friends here for their first time. The smell of the roasted pork hits them first and the coffee makes their eyes roll back in their heads. I have to bring little suction cups on sticks to roll their eyes back down so they don’t look so weird. I love that there are several gluten-free options here, and that they keep ginger beer in stock. The black beans are always perfect and the avacados for the avocado salad are never over– or under-ripe. Friends who don’t have gluten problems usually get one of the sandwiches, and I have to keep the eyeball sticks handy. Did I mention the coffee? Yeah The coffee. I LOVEITSOMUH-HUH-HUCH! I miss Monika waiting tables there She spoiled me and always remember my order and my favorite hot sauce.

Do you miss Cuba? Do you miss Florida? Come here, have a cup of coffee and Cuban bread and I promise you that you will feel like you’re back in South Florida eating Cuban fare. The food here is great and the coffee is strong as it should be!

Aye de mi! How have I gone so long without Buchi Café in my life? Their Cuban sandwiches are phenomenal! Pulled pork and ham are pressed with Swiss, pickles, onions and mustard between two delicious pieces of cuban bread. Salty, sweet and tangy… the flavors just pop. The buchi coffees are also great, bringing back fond memories of evenings in Miami(the closest I’ve been to Cuba), The only downfall is the limited hours. I wish they kept a more traditional schedule so I could enjoy it on a regular basis.

I came here on the recommendation of a friend for their Buchi Espressos. This is a style of espresso from Cuba that is brewed with Demerara sugar. The coffee was way too sweet for me as I like strong, bitter coffee, but I can see why people enjoy it. The ambiance is very casual with a few tables inside and some outside seating. I ordered the Cuban Mix, a traditional Cuban sandwich with roast pork, ham, pickles, onions, cheese, and mustard. The sandwich was great! It had a nice crispy outside and a good ratio of meat to bread. The meat was well cooked and had a nice balance of flavor. The only negative was there was really only one server for the whole restaurant who seemed a little overwhelmed, therefore the service was slow. That said, he was very friendly and once ordered the food came out quickly. I would recommend this spot, but make sure you have plenty of time to sit back and relax, in true Cuban fashion.

Super cute place, and very friendly and clean. Per suggestions from Unilocal I had the Cuban Mix sandwich and small iced café con leche. I like the street parking it was easy in and out.

Perhaps I ordered the wrong item for my first stab at Buchi’s. I went for the egg sandwich, plantains and a single buchi. The coffee, while it might have been traditional, was way too sweet for my taste. The egg sandwich and plantain had no seasoning on them. I am a fan of a dash of salt on both items. I peeled the bread back when I got home and sprinkled a little salt on the eggs and it improved the flavor. Same with the plantains. This is a cute little café and if I lived in the same neighborhood I might go back.

They have really excellent espresso and guava pastries. I’ve been here at least 5 or 6 times my favorite is this double Buchi which is a double expresso. They have some really cool décor old Florida license plates with Cuban names on them. The lady is really nice prices are very fair. Cute little courtyard out front where you can sit and watch traffic go by.
