Fast casual burger bars are all the rage right now, but BurgerFi seriously misses the mark. The burgers are tiny, the buns often soggy, and when I have ordered on multiple occasions the cashiers have displayed visual agitation that I didn’t want one of the«Pre-made» burger combos and wanted to pick and choose my toppings. The onion rings are obscenely large to the point that they just fall apart and you’re left with a slice of onion a quarter inch thick. The fries are good some days and soggy and burnt other days. And let’s talk about price. I went in the other day(the last time I’ll go there; the only reason I’ve given it a few chances is because I live and work nearby), got a pretty simple burger(the only additional charge topping I had was an onion ring, and remember the burgers are small), a «regular»(the smallest size they have) order of fries, and a fountain drink. $ 15. Can’t wait til this place closes so something better can hopefully go in.

Awesome veggie burger! This place smells delicious when you walk in and the food is amazing! The staff was very friendly!

A solid burger for sure. Just wish they would remember to take off there special sauce every time I order. I order without it every time and they always end up putting it on there which results in another 5 minute wait to get the corrected burger.

First time here and very disappointing, had the vienna $ 5.39 dog. Bun was soaking wet like the steamer water saturated it. They advertise Chicago topings but don’t confuse that with what you think you will get. This place cuts the dog in ½ and grills it. Grilling totaly destroys the expected chicago style steamed Vienna flavor one expects. I will take a fast pass and suggest the same to anyone thinking Vienna here means the norm.

What a great place! I come here all the time and continue to be satisfied. They go above and beyond my expectations when it comes to customer service.

I was beyond surprised with this place! The two burgers, fries, and onion rings my friend and I got were devoured in minutes! I’ll definitely be back and would put the burgers in my top 5 fast/casual style restaurant burger experinces! Keep it up!

Excellent quality burgers and great, friendly service. Love the hormone-free beef and the fries which actually taste like potatoes, because they are hand cut. The show stopper for me was the veggie burger, made with quinoa, beans and veggies for a wholesome great tasting burger on wheat bun topped with special sauce. There is a tv on which we were able to watch Sunday night football and the staff were very friendly and helpful in telling us about the options. I am thrilled about this addition to our Cap Hill neighborhood’s casual dining options.

more like a 3.5 star review I actually like the burgers, great flavor! my only gripe is the set up, especially for a lunch crowd. I’ve only been twice, but both times, there was only one girl working the counter. She also makes the milkshakes… so if someone ordered one before you order, you can’t even submit your order. and then the line starts backing up! but again, i like the food. so if i’m not in a rush, i’ll wait.

I though the food was tasty. A la carte menu. I had a natural chicken apple dog. The price point on that I felt was a bit too high at 5 something with the tax for just a regular sized dog on a bun. It did taste good. The fries were also good – not overdone, hot, and properly seasoned. Decent portion of fries. Small fries and natural chicken apple dog ending up costing close to 9 dollars total. No drink. I think it’s a bit high. Nice atmosphere. Next time I’ll go with a burger, since it looks like a better deal at around 7 dollars, depending on your choice of fixings.

Good stuff. If your craving a burger, it gets the job done. The steak cut fries are crunchy. Seems like most places that cut gets greasy, not these. Crunch crunch! Prices good, blue moon on tap. A bazillion calories, yes. Happy, yes.

This review is for the custard as I’m trying to take a short break from red meat so can’t comment on the burgers for now. I was looking for dessert after having dinner right next door at NuHu and I have to say the custard here is good! It’s not just another weak attempt by the restaurant to just have something available to serve for dessert(soo tired of all those«fresh» cookie offerings at many fast casual type restaurants). I opted for the vanilla and chocolate swirled custard. The custard is very thick and flavorful and extremely filling. They had a ton of options for toppings but they really weren’t necessary. I definitely want to try a milkshake next time, and hopefully by then I’ll cave in and also get a cheeseburger and greasy fries!

Pro tip — enter the parking lot from broadway! The parking spots are lined up in that direction! If that lot is full, the museum parking lot across the street isn’t too expensive for a lunch trip! Met a friend here for lunch, we met at 12:30, there was a good number of people there, only the community tables still had space, but by the time we ordered a couple other tables were open… I needed assistance to order my burger and the fella at the register was extremely patient answering all my ridiculous questions and offering suggestion! I went with the lettuce options, which basically turns it into a salad. I was hoping for the in-n-out version where the lettuce become the bun, so you can still hold it and eat it, but it all worked out fabulous! Another thing to note — all their suggested combos are double patty… so build your own if you would like a little less meat. All in all i found my meal very tasty. I’d go for the bigger, more bad for you fries next time!

Good burgers, juicy! Served in a little wax paper wrap, special sauce was yummy. Loved the Burgerfi logo stamped into the bun. Fries were delicious and plentiful. Regular size order served 3 of us with some leftover. Only reason for giving a 4 instead of a 5 was cost. Burger was not worth $ 6. But, overall, good. Will be back!

Just had a burger at burgerfi today. I had the breakfast burger and small fri and small drink 14.50 was my total. It came apart after my first bite it was greasy as was the fries it tasted good but was unbeatable as it fell apart. Asked for a regular cheese burger and it too was greasy and the second order of fries were too. For the price I would not recommend this burger joint. I also had to ask for the price difference between the two. I don’t think the manager was too happy with me. I don’t care, I won’t be back. No parking !

From time to time, a chain restaurant promoting organically sourced and responsible blah blah blah comes around. What I can say about this restaurant is that. well, it is pretty much that. Keep in mind this IS a chain and thus the juice won’t be worth the squeeze due to the fact it’s a chain and they have to abide by the powers that be that will usually decide that convenience and certain expenses supersede that of actual delicious burgers. This sounds pompous, arrogant, and elitist. I don’t mean to be. The burgers are good, but they aren’t great. When eating it, it felt to me, to be about as big of a wallop as most other quick food establishments would pack. I mean to say, don’t be misguided into thinking this is healthier. The burgers taste nice and greasy, though you do get a sense of it being from grass fed beef. I personally believe you should think about the reasons you are going here. For the taste? For the trend? For the cows that had names and happy lives? Worth checking out, though.

ARGH! These guys had the worst service the day we went. I think they messed up half of our orders, and NO they were not busy. The place was empty. It seemed like the staff was more interested in chatting and hanging out than doing any work. I won’t go back unless all the other surrounding choices are full up or closed.

I figured I might as well write my review while still sitting in the restaurant, busy getting through my day job with their fantastic Wifi :) This place is awesome. Fantastic customer service from the guy who rang me up — he recommended the Confusion burger, and it did not disappoint. Absolutely delicious. I don’t even *love* burgers, and this was great. Their fries taste homemade too, which I love. They also have beer/wine if you need/want it lol(which is cool b/c it seems like a place that wouldn’t have it… but they do. If you’re into that sort of thing). Plenty of space to sit with outside seating available(though no one was utilizing it because of the rain). The Wifi rocks as well, so for me this is crucial, as my ability to do my job depends on it. This place met every single need I had for my late lunch break today and I was able to get good work done. Absolutely fantastic(and super close to the library and museums, in case you’re into that sort of thing). I would recommend this place to anyone. To sum it up it’s like a classier In-n-Out with booze, better ambiance, and great music. Double woot for Denverites who don’t have access to an In-n-Out. :) :)

Remember when Wendy’s came out with that classic burger with special Wendays sauce? That’s exactly what BurgerFi’s burger tastes like, double the price! I was really, really disappointed. I ordered a cheese burger with parm fries and it was $ 12! The cheeseburger wasn’t special at all, it tasted just like a Wendy’s burger. The bun was kind of soggy, the veggies weren’t fresh, the sauce wasn’t memorable and it just wasn’t very good. The parm fries had a weird powdery dry texture and taste and I had to douse them in ketchup and mustard just so that they were edible. My boyfriend ordered the chili fries and I’m not even sure what it was. It was just this awful ketchup mustard onion mayo concoction. It’s really hard to mess up a burger. I won’t be back.

In my opinion — industrial interior, minimalism, good food, clean Hot Dog! I had been wanting a hot dog! Baseball season had just started, with the Rockies home opener the day before — who wouldn’t want a hot dog! Why start with that, when I’m reviewing a Burger place? Well, they have burgers and hot dogs! Yes, the best of both worlds. Interior — industrial interior, browns, tans, steal, clean, open. I really liked it! Warning, it is a bit noisy, but that fits this place. Food/Menu — burgers, hot dogs, fries. Choose from one of their already built burgers or hot dogs, or build your own. I had the kobe beef hot dog, which I loved. I added chili, which was just a touch spicy, but again, it really hit the spot! My husband had the cheeseburger, but only 1 patty with it, and it was still a larger burger. I tried his burger, and he tried my hot dog. We agreed both were good. We also split an order of fries(you’ve got to have the fries!), and he had some onion rings too. The fries were good, but the onion rings were a little salty. Only complaint — the menu board, which was way up high, was difficult to read, due to the sun shining in through the street windows. We watched other people come in, and try to read the signs. They, too, had to scrunch down, to read the menus. Parking — there is a small lot there at the building, and there are some reserved spots for BurgerFi, so that’s good. Will we be back — you betcha! We enjoyed the food, the service, the prices. Oh, one note, everything is a la carte, so you buy your fries separate from your hamburger or hot dog. See you there!

Modern Take on Comfort Food BurgerFi is definitely the cool kid at the table. This stylish, contemporary restaurant chain offers up American classics in a very earth-friendly manner. For instance, the chairs are made from recycled Coke bottles and the tables are made out of compressed recycled wood. The food and beverages are delicious! BurgerFi serves up all-natural, free-range beef. They have a vast selection of drinks and craft beer, too! It’s funny what you notice when entering a new place for the first time. Upon entering BurgerFi, I was quickly drawn to the futuristic, fancy drink machine. Once you fill your cup up with ice, you can select a button for a brand of beverage and then select another for a specific flavor. As an example, you can pick Powerade Zero and then choose from Grape, Lemon Lime, Mixed Berry, Fruit Punch, etc. How about the food? BurgerFi burgers are made from natural Angus, the highest standard in the industry. That’s just code for free-range, humanely-raised Angus that has no hormones or antibiotics. The burgers are pretty small, but savory and toothsome. I suggest doubling or even tripling up. And you have to throw in an order of fries. Everyone loves the fries! There are several types to choose from. Go with a Regular or the Parmesan & Herb Fries. Don’t forget to grab a beer or frozen custard treat, either! If you are a burgerphile, you’ll dig this place. It’s a great joint!
