Excellent tasting burritos — and they’re HUGE! Their English is not perfect so be sure to confirm your order.

The couple who run this cart make some of the best burritos I’ve had in Denver. The now $ 4 bean, rice, and cheese burrito is phenomenal, and an amazing bargain given how flavorful it is. The tacos are also really nice(street taco style).

YUM! I want to give the burrito cart 5 stars, but I want to find the right burrito for me. I wandered over there this morning to grab some breakfast. Super quick, took only like 3 minutes for her to create my burrito. I thought I asked for the chorizo burrito(#1), but I think the owner misunderstood me, and gave me the potato, green chili and egg burrito instead. It was good, great spicyness, not greasy at all, and very filling. Great for $ 3.50! I’m not very picky, but it would’ve been nice to order the burrito that I wanted. Owner loves to practice his spanish with you, that’s pretty fun! Will update this when i find a burrito i love.

I was afraid that the Burrito Cart no longer existed because there weren’t any recent reviews. Happily, the Burrito Cart is alive and well! And so delicious and such a bargain! The day that I visited, the cart was in front of Sliceworks. I was craving a burrito with beans, rice, cheese, and some hot salsa, and that’s exactly what I got for the bargain price of $ 3.50. $ 3.50?! The beans are refried, and the hot salsa is of the green variety. This particular burrito reminds me of California-style burritos. I’m excited to try the breakfast burritos and other options. Skip the chains and head here – better food, better prices, and almost no wait at lunchtime.

It’s as good as it gets for a delicious $ 3 breakfast burrito. My office is right next door to here, so I have had many a breakfast burrito here. I’m a total carnivore, but I highly recommend getting the #6 breakfast burrito(potatoes, eggs, green chili). It’s a little spicy and has everything you would want in your breakfast. And it’s $ 3.

I’m sure that, given more time here in Denver, this place could easily earn a fifth star from me. That said, I walked down to the little cart this morning to have a breakfast burrito, something I’ve been missing terribly since moving to Florida. I ordered my burrito and then got to watch her make it to my liking. My breakfast did not disappoint, great flavors from simple ingredients, and a perfect amount of heat and flavor in the green chili. Hit the spot perfectly. Also, I’d like to give a shout out to my fellow Unilocalers. Denver is my home town, but I haven’t been lucky enough to visit for a couple of years. Of course I’m visiting all of my faves, but without Unilocal,I never would have found this burrito cart, so thank you!

I eat at this cart about 3 days a week at least. It’s cheap($ 3 for a big burrito), delicious, and Felipa and her husband are really nice and friendly. It’s a very popular cart, and the breakfast #6(potato, egg, green chili) is delicious! They even got a brand new nice cart a few weeks ago. Definitely more than worth the money.

Yum. This burrito cart is so great! The people who run it are so nice. More importantly, the burritos are gigantic and delicious and so cheap. Seriously, how do they make money only charging $ 3? These things are like greasy and tasty without being greasy gross. I admit I’m very likely to get one when I’m hung over. And they keep you full forever. I usually eat breakfast and a snack and then an early lunch, but when I eat this around 8, I’m not hungry again until 2. Bonus: the green chili is vegetarian! And delicious and delightfully spicy.

Great tasting and inexpensive. Perhaps the best Mexican food downtown. Plus, they are super friendly. They should be rewarded for their fine food.

Um… awesome. I was a little sketched out by the make-shiftiness of this cart, but oh man… was I so happy with my red mole chicken burrito!!! And at only $ 4, I’ll definitely be back. If not for the red mole burrito, then definitely to try out their tacos!

I have to agree with the previous reviewer. More people need to comment on the food at this stand. They are making fresh, albeit not very healthy, Mexican food and they are doing it at a great price. Breakfast burritos are hearty and rich, leaving you craving more. I would recommend not ordering anything HOT unless you are prepared to pay for it later.

Unilocalers of the World Unite! Why does the burrito/taco lady(as my fellow teammates call her) only have one review on Unilocal. Are my Unilocalers slacking? You might be… Teammates of mine told me about this lady and invited me to got this morning. Thank goodness, this is the BOOMDIGITY! Smallish menu. Offers a selection of breakfast burritos, and a great array of tacos with carnitas or chicken or more. Taco’s have a great balance of spice(mild if you want) with fresh onions, cilantro, lime, and rice. I had the chicken and there are were huge pieces of chicken throughout — not cheap with the chicken. She also has a variety of drinks. She’s on the corner of 17th and Blake which means that if your looking for an amazing lunch or breakfast you should walk the ½ block and get some taco lovin! Forgo the Chipolte’s and Qdoba’s of the world and take part in the Burrito Cart — support a local gem that deserves the recognition for being a great food cart in downtown Denver. Stop by giver her a try and write a review. Let’s get busy!

I was browsing through 5280 Magazine and in the section where they were profiling Cheap Eats(cover story) I saw a blurb from a respected downtown chef who recommended the burrito cart at the corner of 17th and Blake. He liked the chicken mole burrito for three dollars that was as large as a Chipotle burrito. I happened to be near there that same day and decided to check it out. It was easy to spot on the corner though it was about as small as a burrito cart can be. The inside was just large enough to contain one person and his array of ingredients. Just outside was a nice lady taking orders and a chalkboard menu that listed about eight different kinds of burritos and a few taco choices along with a cooler containing various bottled and canned drinks. I ordered the chicken, rice, potato, bean and green chili burrito. Normally I don’t go for a burrito with so many ingredients but I felt good about this one. Yes, it was only three dollars and yes, it was the size of a Chipotle burrito. It was in a word, *excellent* — in every respect. Every ingredient was«right» and it all went together wonderfully. I am planning on returning to this vendor again whenever I’m out for lunch in that neck of the woods. I hope they never go away. Salute!
