I stopped in here quickly to get a plain coffee to motivate me to do housework on a Saturday(yay caffeine!). The young guy that was working behind the counter was very friendly and let me know he’d be right with me after he was done dealing with his current customer. His demeanor was a breath of fresh air and he didn’t seem like most people in the service industry who hate their job. The coffee was as expected(since I get a plain iced coffee).

Just a step above Starbucks, but still has that chain-coffee shop feel to it. They do have better flavored drinks — probably with loads of chocolate and syrup, if you’re looking for a sweet treat. Decent selection of teas(hot and cold, at decent prices, I got a large hot tea for $ 2.80) The baristas are really nice and there is ample seating in the place. There’s a long communal table with padded stools, maybe 6 – 7 tables and 3 couch/armchair seats. One thing I couldn’t place was that there seemed to be congregations of homeless people in this place. Don’t get me wrong, I come from San Francisco, so I’ve seen and dealt with my fair share of vagrants, but I’ve never just seen them hang out for hours inside coffee shops. I felt a little weird since they just kept eyeing everyone and at one point, one lady was walking around asking people to buy her a drink. Not to be heartless, but management should not let them panhandle inside while people are trying to enjoy their beverage or work. The drinks were fine and the WiFi was fine, but I don’t think I’d come back here again.

I have actually never been inside another coffee place other than Starbucks, so I didn’t know what to expect! I’m actually not a coffee person so this is just based on the hot chocolate they have there. We ordered a hot white chocolate and it was so delicious! I usually don’t like white chocolate so it’s definitely an ultra good thing for one drink to change my mind about something I thought I disliked. My boyfriend loved it so much as well, I have a feeling he’s going to return just to grab that white hot chocolate again! The environment is also a lot better than Starbucks. It’s more spacious, and for some reason it just has a very cozy feeling to relax in on a cold day. I definitely don’t mind returning to try the other drinks! Maybe even a coffee drink. If they can change my mind about white chocolate, maybe they can change my mind about coffee!

Best iced pumpkin latte hands down. Friendlier than Starbucks staff, and pretty much the same price. So sad i never see these in Arizona where we live, but will be enjoying it while we are here! Yum :)

I was super disappointed they didn’t have coconut mocha because it seems to be quite a hit. They do have lots of options though, I got the dark chocolate smores mocha(iced): it tasted like Starbucks mocha(luckily I’m a huge Bux fan). The pastries looked like Starbucks too. My bf got the crafted press and that was great– definitely what I would get next time even though I try to stay away from dairy. The crafted press has cream and sugar in it– perfectly blended. The staff was friendly and knew the menu well. I liked the décor and got a cool mug.

The staff was remarkable here. We chatted for a bit and they were really sweet. The vanilla soy latte was perfect. They used organic ingredients!

In short, poor quality drinks but good atmosphere. The coffee I think had been sitting for quite awhile, as it has lost any richness. I normally take it black, but here I had to add cream so the flavor wouldn’t be so dull. Also the iced pom green tea I got was too bitter and had no hint of pomegranate or camellia sinensis. I expect it was a very low quality off-brand. Once I got over the bad drinks, though, I enjoyed this café very much. Their staff is nice and the atmosphere inside was cozy. Outside you can sit on the patio and people watch on 16th Street Mall.

We had their Coconut Dark Choco Mocha and I must say that’s a bold invention with their coffees. The hint of coconut flavour is brilliant! And they have super-friendly people here!

I ordered a latte and the espresso was so weak that it didn’t have a chance to defend itself against the milk. It brought my childhood back drinking warm milk for breakfast. Service was friendly

I’m not a huge coffee drinker but Caribou has a coconut dark chocolate mocha that is divine! I’ve had it both hot and iced and both are great. There’s never a long line, service is friendly and they have a rewards card which has already repayed me with a free drink after just registering the card. A nice treat during the workday.

A hidden gem on the 16th street mall! Just finished an amazing run in the snow and decided a hot Americano would hit the spot. There is a Starbucks diagonally located across from Caribou, however the line was pretty long so I turned around and decided to try something new. I was stunned when I walked in, I am so excited to come back in with my laptop some snowy afternoon or evening to work. Incredible atmosphere, beautifully decorated and very clean! Drink was perfect, the only two misses I had was that 1.) they did not have a service counter to add non-fat milk to my coffee(had to go back to barista bar to ask for it after searching around) and 2) the young woman taking my order was trying to upsell pretty hard to me. Definitely will be back!

This location just lost my vote today. I love their beverages and their foods and prefer(red) them over Starbucks. I used to be a regular here — would usually come in the morning, work till lunch, then go out grab something to eat(only because they don’t have any vegetarian options) and come back and continue working. I usually pick up a coffee in the morning and an iced tea for my afternoons. Following my usual routine today, I went back to Caribou after lunch and I could see the owner/manager hinting to the cashier that I hadn’t bought anything(after me being there for just 10 minutes — it wasn’t like I had been there for hours without a purchase). That really pissed me off — they know I’m a regular but they seem to be so money minded! Some of their servers are REALLY nice! But what do you expect from a place where management is so rude and doesn’t know how to treat their customers? I don’t expect people to kiss ass, but you should know the basics, being in the hospitality sector. #AttitudeChangeRequired

This place is like cheers to me, but instead of selling beer and everyone knows your name they make a really good Barry White mocha, And the team behind the counter always make you feel welcome, and the wintertime is even better you can sit next to a fireplace and pretend you’re up in Aspen surfing the Internet

It’s nice to have this option right across the street from Starbucks. All the Caribou’s in Michigan went away :-(. I like it here — chill vibe. United Airlines sucks… oh wait, that’s a pending review update.

This location isn’t too far from office and usually is more of a treat for me and my co-workers than a usual. Their flavored latte drinks are yummy, but are usually way too sweet for me. I have to ask for half the syrup/sauces, but I love that they never bat an eye at the request. And they offer a «Northern Lite» version of quite a few of their drinks. They are always quick, polite and friendly here and that’s what will keep me coming back when I need a sweet treat!

This coffee shop will give Starbucks a run for its money. It’s definitely the new kid brother on the block. It’s way more relaxed and brighter and less of a corporate feel. The baristas are friendly and awesome personably. They make a mean white chocolate mocha. Festive christmas music that you don’t mind listening too. And they have a chalkboard to write your thoughts on. Now that’s a review you can drink. My white chocolate mocha had real bits of white chocolate mocha and it was creamy and delicious. Chewing on Choco chips every other sip is awesomely delicious.
