Chocolate Crisis Center

What other kind of rating could you give a place that has finally equated chocolate with medicine? I’m pretty sure my symptoms for any emotional or physical pain can always be fixed with chocolate – and my new chocolate truffle pills sure will help!

Delicious chocolate and great concept! I love the medical theme, you can get your chocolate in pill bottles and boxes that look like first aid kits. It makes for a really great gift, or just chocolate for yourself when you’re feeling in need of some! The chocolate itself tastes great too, my favorite is the milk chocolate salted caramelita. I visited the store recently, and they have new holiday themed chocolates as well. Definitely worth the visit during my short stay in Denver!

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I picked up a pamphlet from the airport and I came in expecting some general chocolate in a cutesy atmosphere. The chocolate tastes unbelievable, I couldn’t find a flavor I didn’t like. I’m glad to know they do online orders and gifts because I’m out in Dallas. Then again, in 2 days I’ve almost eaten 2 bottles full of chocolates and may need to stop back in before I leave town.
So delicious. Plus a great shop and gift concept!

Holy crap awesome chocolate! I came here for their first Friday party. it was a blast!
The medical theme here is amazing. because lets think about it. chocolate really does make everything better. For the First Friday party they had a number of tables with samples of their different chocolates. The pumpkin spice was one of the standouts, also the blueberry!
On top of the samples they had a really fun photo booth area with lots of props and a hilarious old german dude. We got some great pics haha. There was a local Sangria/​Wine company as well dishing out some samples of their drinks. All good stuff!

Yet another savvy Denver business full of character and ingenuity. Presented well, marketed even better, with personality to spare.
The chocolate was pretty high quality. Not quite my preference (I’m picky, like authentic Dutch only) but still impressed nonetheless. I mean where else can you get a «dose» of chocolate by a non-​medical professional in a lab coat at a sterile counter? Great gift packages and cool family friendly experience by the looks of it.
Only con is that it’s not covered by my healthcare. THANKS OBAMA!

I love love love this chocolate store. First of all, the gimmick is fun– little «daily doses» and prescriptions of chocolates in cute little medical packaging & pill bottles. The staff wearing lab coats while they «fill your prescriptions» — How fun is that?
BUT!!! What really counts is that the product, the chocolate, is the highest quality and absolutely delicious. My favorites are the salted caramel daily dose, and the Triple shot espresso beans, which I am crunching on as we speak which makes me shout:

Finally, the upbeat zany philosophy of this store and product is evident in the store, in the packaging, and especially their welcoming and helpful staff. Even their facebook page is downright optimistic and upbeat. How can you not be HAPPY at the Chocolate Crisis Center?
Check them out on First Fridays, tucked in among great galleries — a couple of bottles of «medicine» will tuck into your pocket. And if you are lucky, «Dr. Angst» will be in, and you can get your photo with him.
One of Denver’s best!

This chocolate shop is very welcoming, creative and delish! I can’t get enough of the mint chocolate chip and red hot flavored chocolates. I definitely plan to pick some up for stocking stuffers at Christmas.
The RiNo Epicurean event was so awesome! Free drinks and samples to your hearts content. I made sure took note of the tasty red wine and bought some salsa.
I’m looking forward to making it to every first Friday event! Dr. Angst cracks me up with his therapy pics. Be sure to take one with him. :)

Went to the RiNo Epicurean festival tonight during a girls weekend with my sisters and this chocolate place was FANTASTIC! I thought it might be a cute marketing gimmick, but the chocolate was also so great and the owners were so kind. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

ok i almost left my review as just that first line :) These folks are awesome, and the medical stuff idea is a great one. We’ve bought several «first aid kits» for friends and family.
All the chocolates are delicious, and they occasionally have tasting events where they try out new flavors. I’ll be a guinea pig for chocolate any day.

Different size boxes to hold your emergency stash!
The tiramisu and toffee are my favorites, but i’m pretty sure i’d be happy with anything from their line!
