Go to Chopz! This place is worth it for Norine alone! She is so sweet and always gives me the exact cut I want. Not to mention, the price is pretty cheap for a women’s cut in cap hill!

Absolutely the BEST!!! My husband, daughter and myself go there and I’ve never been disappointed. Norine really takes the time to cut your hair the right way, listens to what you want and is honest in making suggestions on how to make your hair look better. She is beyond sweet and she employs only the nicest and best stylists in the business. Pricing is great and the salon is both swanky and comfortable. AMAZING!!!

Norine & Leandra are both awesome. They listen to what you want and always want you to leave feeling great! Both my sister and I go here and have had nothing but fantastic experiences visit after visit. They’re very accommodating and will go to great lengths to give you what you need. They are also super friendly and extremely affordable! Awesome job, ladies!

I have been a loyal customer of Chopz for over 7 years since discovering Norine and her fantastic group of stylists and barbers. Despite moving around the city and commuting out of state for over a year (and finally moving back again) I would make sure to line up an appointment before coming back to town! The vibe in the shop is fresh, bold, and comfortable. Norine always knows the latest styles, trends and colors and I have never had a bad experience, in fact, my wife and now my daughter all go to her and her crew. You do not get voted #1 by Denver’s A List by CityVoter @DenversAList for 4 Years without doing a few things right! Highly recommend to everyone!

I have been going to Chopz for a little over a year now. I had been going to the same well known stylist downtown Denver for over 10 years but she moved out of state. I was very weary of finding a new stylist. I tried 4 other places before trying Chopz. Which is walking distance from my house. I am in the cap Hill downtown area which is riddled with salons. I definitely found «the one» & am here to stay! Everyone there is so friendly and makes you feel like part of their family. Very comfortable upbeat urban atmosphere. Now to mention a «True» Master Stylist… Norine,. She is All of that & a heart of gold. Her attention to detail is very rare. Always a bright. legitimate smile to greet you. And she has a beautiful talented daughter following close in her footsteps learning from a true master of the Arts. Give them a try you will not be disappointed. They are definitely stuck with me!

I have lived in Denver for about two years, and my hunt for a good, consistent stylist has finally come to an end! After a year of mediocre haircuts from various other (mostly chain) salons, I came across Chopz and decided to give it a try. I can honestly say I have never had a stylist (s) listen to my needs/​desires so carefully. My first experiences were with Angie who is AMAZING. I went back for a cut while she was on vacation and Norene was my stylist. Same, exceptional results. Every time. If you’re a man looking for a good, consistent, affordable haircut then seriously, look no further. Not to mention the playlists are always top notch. You guys ROCK!

I called ahead and scheduled a 4pm appointment as I flew out that night and needed to be to the airport around 6:30. I had to wait for some time before I was helped. I loved my cut and the care I received, as I have before. The wait was frustrating but simply because I was in a rush.
Another edit: I highly recommend getting a cut here! The stylists are great and so friendly! I found out they were understaffed before when I left my initial review. Not their fault for the wait.

Finally a men’s salon that doesn’t rush you out the door or charge way too much for a good cut. Ask for Leandra!

My regular hairdresser just left the business to become a flight attendant — said he couldn’t see himself cutting hair at 70 like another local hair icon — lol. Whatever, I hate breaking in a new hairdresser and put it off as long as possible. This place is close to my house and has great reviews. I’d have to say that based on my visit today, I’m probably their oldest living customer. But, whatever, I ended up with the daughter of the owner and she couldn’t have been nicer. Decent haircut but I’m just an easy old guy clipper cut so I wasn’t much of a challenge. No complaints really (lots of stairs and the place feels pretty cluttered if that matters to you). So, it was easy to get in on short notice, haircut looks as good as can be expected considering what she had to work with (not much anymore). But, it was $ 28 plus tip for about 10 minutes work. I think that’s not unreasonable these days but still something of a shock to this old fogey.

I’ve been going to Chopz since they opened. Norine does incredible work, but her personality and conversation is what make the service truly top notch. Once or twice I’ve strayed and tried other spots and always regretted it. Definitely giving Chopz 5 stars!

I have seen Angie for years for the haircut highlights and lowlights. Anglie always gets the haircut perfect and knows the color scheme. She is a class act and knows her stuff. Thank you Angie! You’re the best!

Norine is awesome. I always feel comfortable with her choices. She knows hair and male grooming. CHOPZ is not fancy. it’s very casual. Almost like hanging out in a friends rec-​room. No attitude. if, as someone pointed out, it’s funky… I say bring on the funk.

Coming here is like family. Norine is awesome and just a great person. You want great service at a fair price, this is the place.

Just started going to Chopz cause my stylist Joni started working there. The place is awesome and easy! She knows me and what I like. I won’t worry about how I look when I walk out of there cause I trust her and what she’ll do. The ambiance is great, the location is easy, and it’s a lot cheaper than my last place I usually went to. I feel comfortable when getting my haircut again!

Chopz Salon is great. I’ve been getting my hair cut here for years now. I enjoy the relationship I have with my stylist Noreen. I trust her to cut my hair, sometimes with out giving her any direction. I always leave here looking good and feeling good. Give it a try, Chopz will treat you right.

Norine is a great stylist. After going from the places where the turnover is high and you never get to know your stylist to the more fancy places downtown that have no parking and high prices, I’ve found my place here at Chopz. Reasonable prices, central location with parking, and a great stylist with Norine.

Norine is the best men’s hairstylist in Denver. Don’t pay $ 60 to go to metroboom or gentlemen’s quarters.
