Colorado Custom Spas

We had a great experience with Colorado Custom Spas. We bought a Bullfrog Spa (which we love) but had a challenging installation in our mountain home. The guys at CCS worked with us every step of the way — even the «big boss» came out to help install the tub. They answered all our questions and let us swap out a Jetpak we didn’t like. Overall I’d recommend CCS to anyone interested in buying a quality hot tub and getting great customer service!

We purchased a Bullfrog Spa a few months ago and absolutely LOVE it. I called several times to ask questions before and after the purchase and spoke to Justin and Sam. They were both very professional, nice and accommodating. They were interested in selling us the right spa for our family and were not at all pushy. The delivery men were awesome. When my husband and I moved to Colorado we dreamed of having a hot tub. Anyone who lives here knows it’s part of the culture. We went to seven different dealers of spas and every one has a party line as to why theirs is the best and you really need to wade through all the rhetoric and quite frankly, all the dealers were very nice to us because well, they want to sell us a spa that is a pricy item. Colorado Custom was the last place we visited. It was right before Labor Day weekend and they were very busy showing off their BullFrog Spas and their Clearwater Spas If you haven’t checked out a BullFrog spa you haven not done your homework. They are very, very nice spas and have the most powerful jets! Our salesperson Sam was very helpful and stayed late so we could go home and grab our suits (because when you are over 50 no one wants to see you nekkid!) so we could wet test the spa. We purchased a refurbished Clearwater Spa and could not be happier with it. Delivery was scheduled about a month later because we needed to build out the paver patio and pull a permit with the city. Pulling a permit is a bit pricy but is in your best interest because of safety issues you haven’t even thought of. For example, EFT certification which not all spas have as we learned when we purchased a spa from another company. Needless to say we had to cancel that order. Anyway, the fact that we had to schedule further out for delivery and were permitting the work was no issue for Sam and his band of merry men. Stewart Electric did the hookup and passed inspection and the spa was delivered and set up as promised. No sales pitch on products and NO CUSSING! We have since ordered chemicals that arrived quickly and were competitively priced. So far so good. Thanks so much Sam!
Oh, well maybe one negative is we didn’t get a rubber ducky!

Purchased a fabulous bullfrog spa from these guys this summer. Love the hot tub and received great service. We had lots of questions regarding the prep for installation and they went above and beyond in assisting us. Sam actually came to our house and helped us pick the location for the tub. Excellent customer service from Colorado Custom Spas!

My wife and I were very impressed with Stan Goodreau and Colorado Custom Spas on our very first contact. Unfortunately after that the good feelings have stopped for this company and the way that it is run. Once we purchased a tub that we liked the problems began. The two gentlemen that delivered the tub were VERY unprofessional, they were screaming obscenities at each other and openly berating each other right in front me. It was so bad that I went inside and made sure that my toddler son could not hear what was being said outside. Once everything was set up and ready to roll the horrible customer service began. Their salesman was pushing all sorts of overpriced chemicals on us and telling us he would add the cost onto our total cost. I bit on this and ordered a ton of chemicals and extra filters. We paid off the entire cost of everything six months later and we thought that we washed our hands of this company. WE WERE WRONG!!! They have continued to try to charge us multiple times for our initial chemical order. When my wife called to figure out what was going on Stan berated her and took a very unproffesional defensive stance instead of working together to find common ground. I feel like Stan was a sub-​par hot tub installer who got an idea that he would like to start a business yet lacks the knowledge that is required to run such a business. His unproffesionalism trickles down throughout all of employees. With all of the companies that you can buy a hot tub from I feel like anywhere else would be a better choice. My wife and I will definitely look elsewhere for our next hot tub.
