Elise Fabricant – Half Moon Studios

Today I had my first massage from Elise. I booked a 90 minute prenatal massage because I was in so much pain at 34 weeks that I really needed 90 minutes of massage. The massage time was scheduled for 12:50p and even though I had planned to arrive 10 min early, I was only a couple of minutes early. I waited briefly while she let her dog go to the restroom outside and then we went to her very cozy space. After chatting for a little bit and changing, the massage began. I believe the massage couldn’t have started before 1pm, probably after. There were a few distractions (Pippa eating, dog barking outside) so she had to step away a couple of times briefly to quiet the noise. The massage ended and after laying there for a minute and then getting up, I saw that it was only 2:15pm. I thought that maybe she had thought it was a 60 minute but I was charged for a 90 minute massage. The actual massage was excellent, but my biggest pet peeve is having minutes shaved off of my massage. If I had received a full 90 minute massage, I would have gladly given 5 stars.

My prenatal massage was exactly what I needed. Elise was fantastic. Unequivocally the best prenatal massage I’ve ever had. I love that she uses the pregnancy cushion and headrest too, so laying on your stomach is safe and comfortable.

After receiving monthly massages from Elise for almost two years, as well as visiting some other massage therapists along the way, I can say — hands down — she is the absolute best. She is always in tune with my body and understands what I need, whether it’s relief from pain and tension or deep relaxation (usually both!). Elise’s space is relaxing, and her genuine warmth and excellent technique are incomparable. I hope she will continue to do this healing work for many years to come!

I got a Unilocal deal to visit Elise at 36 weeks pregnant when I was absolutely desperate for some relief from back pain. Totally worth it, and I immediately booked another massage with her. She has a very soothing personality (and a super cute dog), and I actually really liked the fact that her studio is in her apartment — it felt more personal, somehow. I’m visiting her tomorrow, and I can’t wait!

I had a prenatal massage with Elise, which my husband booked as a surprise birthday gift. It was exactly what I needed as I head into my 36^th week! So relaxing! Elise was professional and so friendly, I felt comfortable the entire time. The massage was at her home studio– she has a lovely apartment and the setting was very soothing. I enjoyed the soft music and the linens smelled really nice (that may have just been the laundry detergent but hey it just made the experience even more pleasant). I found the setup to accommodate my pregnant belly very comfortable. I look forward to future massages with Elise, which I’m sure I’ll need after baby arrives :)

I had bounced around to a few massage therapists before I found Elise. Being a dentist, as well as a very active and outdoorsy person (biking, skiing, etc), I tend to get a lot of knots and lower back discomfort. Prior to seeing Elise, no one was able to figure out/​get it right with treating this area. Elise was fantastic with this. She is very communicative about pressure, areas of concern and expectations. I feel wonderful after seeing her for a deep tissue massage. I highly recommend her!

Elise is a gem of a find in Denver. She is incredibly intuitive and always knows exactly what my body needs. Where do I begin? I have been getting regular monthly (sometimes bi-​weekly) massages with Elise for almost 2 years now. I started when I was pregnant and needed prenatal massage specifically. I have no idea how I would have made it through my pregnancy without Elise’s care. She was excellent at understanding what I needed and addressing each area with the perfect amount of pressure. I had a one-​on-​one yoga session with Elise yesterday, and it was simply wonderful. I wanted help with adjusting my poses so that I could build more strength and really get the most out of each pose. Her advice was gentle yet incredibly useful. She was very encouraging and a joy to share a session with. My shoulders have never felt so open as they did after our session! I look forward to learning more from her.

Attended a Sunday morning class with Cristine and it was fantastic! First off, the studio is such a soothing, peaceful place with beautiful art adoring the walls. Second, Cristine is such a gifted teacher, weaving wonderful breath work and guided meditation into the practice. The depth of her knowledge is unbelievable and I felt such an inner calmness after her class. Finally, the classes are only $ 10 to drop in, which makes it quite affordable. I highly recommend the studio and checking out Cristine’s Sunday 10AM class!

I walked into her studio and was immediately calmed… by her welcoming spirit and the professional space. I am a massage therapist myself and truly appreciated and enjoyed my session. She gave a very intuitive and skillful massage.

I booked Elise after getting to know her yoga practice through online downloads. We are in Denver intermittently so on one of our trips, I signed up for a 60 minute massage.
WOW. Elise was fantastic. I had a big knot in my R shoulder/​neck from a long drive, and a problem with my L knee. She really got in and loosened both up beautifully.
Her method and her touch were both comforting and really got into my muscles. When the 60 minutes were up, I didn’t want to get off the table!

Elise is absolutely amazing! I am an avid cyclist and Elise was able to guide me in proper muscle stretching before and after cycling as my muscles were extremely tense and tight.
