The cupcakes look better than they taste, and at over $ 21 for six cupcakes, they are also extremely overpriced. We tried the Pink Princess(strawberry), White Wedding Cake(Vanilla), cookie dough and the Double-Stuff Oreo. The buttercream is WAY too sweet and makes you literally feel sick if you eat a whole cupcake. The cake itself was dry, somewhat tasteless and crumbly. And as a baker myself, I can clearly see that both the frosting and the cake batter are not being mixed properly. The frosting was littered with chucks of unmixed butter, and the cake batter actually had dry crumbles of unmixed flour/dry ingredients dotted throughout. The strawberry cake contained little bits of strawberry, which would be nice if those bits didn’t turn brown and mushy. Overall, overpriced and disappointing. I know bakery shops have high overhead and need to charge a decent amount for their goods — and I’m fine with that — but for the price and the fact that all they sell are cupcakes — they better be well-executed and delicious, both of which these are not.

Honestly if this place was ever open I might give them a higher rating. Closed in the evening after 7. Closed on Sunday. Too much frosting and too«corporate». The demise of the small local funky cupcake shop in Denver has hit me hard. This place is no competition. A package from King Soopers is almost as good.

Sooo I walked into my office today, and there was a big pink bag sitting on my desk from Gigi’s Cupcakes! Inside were the absolute cutest cupcakes I have ever seen! My husband surprised me at work with Panda cupcakes! As well as 2 pink Happy Birthday cupcakes since pink is my favorite color! I have heard of Gigi’s a couple times but have never tried their cupcakes. The first thing I noticed was the presentation. Starting from the pink delivery bag, which was designed to look like a present. Then, the boxes that the cupcakes sit in are bright and colorful and nicely designed! But the Panda cupcakes is what stole the show! They were MASSIVE chocolate cupcakes, and the panda head was a mini vanilla cupcake! They used oreo cookies for its ears, arms, and feet. And oreo crumbs on top of the frosting. The cake was good, but the frosting is what stood out more. It was very light and fluffy. Rather than dense and sugary. It tasted even better with the oreo crumbs on top. A great birthday surprise!

To much frosting. To much money. If you want to pay for frosting, this is your cupcake store. Box cupcake and add cream cheese and more butter to icing. Way cheaper on the pocket book.

I am a huuuge dessert fan and my absolute favorite are cupcakes. I like this place because it gives me a variety of different colors. I am giving it four stars because although the actual cake was delicious, there was wayyyy too much frosting. Separately they both tastes delicious but I have to scrape off the mountain of frosting and eat bits of it with my cupcake.

Had the Miss Princess, cookie Dough, and Red Velvet — samples from friends, I didn’t eat all three! I loved them. Perhaps a little too much frosting, but the flavors were spot on. I will definitely be purchasing from the cupcake truck again!

I came here to buy a batch of cupcakes for some of my employees and everyone loved them! Everyday they have a different type of cupcake on special and it’s all so delicious! Probably some of the best cupcakes I ever had.

I have had better cupcakes than that. It was something about the actual cupcake, it was kind of dry.

Cupcakes are absolutely heavenly. I was only able to have a few bites as they are so rich and full of flavor! Service was not good, kind of a «what do you want» attitude. One thing that would make Gigi’s even better is offering a full line of mini cupcakes. The rest of mine ended up going to waste as my sweet tooth was satisfied for a few days after.

Gigi’s is the place to go if you like frosting. Yes, the cake is good, but the frosting is the real show here. Piled a mile high and decorated in the cutest ways possible, Gigi’s put on a good show and are a great cupcake to bring to a celebration. This Gigi’s is hard to park in, but at least they have a lot! My favorite flavors are their red velvet, banana cream pie and my stepson loved the wedding cake. The staff is friendly and the prices are the going cupcake price. I like them for that special occasion.

THISPLACEWASAMAZING! I had the cookie dough cupcake and the cookies and crème(don’t quote me on the names) and they were very good! The cookie dough frosting was great! And the filling and frosting on the cookies and crème was great too! The cake part was good. Great place!

We came here on a Saturday evening, and it was packed. The cupcakes we got were dry and a bit hard. If you crave for cupcakes, try Yum Yum’s delight instead.

Picked up a few cupcakes this past Monday night for dessert. I got a Boston Cream, Strawberry Shortcake, and a Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. The actual cupcakes were delicious, but the CREAM. SOMUCHCREAM! It makes the cupcake look pretty, but it’s unnecessary. Additionally, the cream doesn’t taste that special. I ended up taking the whole thing off and left a thin layer on top which was just enough for me. I will still go back again because of how yummy the actual cupcake part was, but I just wish they’d tone down the cream.

In my mind, there is always room for a cupcake. Doesn’t matter if I said I was full two minutes ago… If we pass a cupcake shop, I’m getting a cupcake. Well, most I’ve been to have honestly been«meh» and«$$$». Then there was Gigi’s. It was love at first bite. The cookie dough cupcake. OMG. The prices here are on par with most gourmet cupcake shops. But the taste definitely exceeds most. Totally worth it.

Every time I have been to GiGi’s cupcakes I have been gravely disappointed. The hype was so high that I thought it would be amazing, it’s not. The cupcakes are always dry as if they have been out too long or have been insanely over cooked. Not only that but the amount of frosting, I know this is a signature, is honestly absurd. I wouldn’t mind the two inches of frosting on the cupcakes if it was good frosting but I truly can’t tell any difference from store bought to their frosting. You can definitely get the mass produced vibe from this bakery, skip this cupcake place and go find yourself a real bakery in Denver(you won’t be disappointed)

Do one thing, do it well! For delicious, creative, generous but not gargantuan, moist cupcakes you cannot go wrong with Gigi’s. This is the second location I’ve been to(Aspen Grove being the other). This location had a much larger selection, however that could be because I hit it early in the day.

… meh. My mother loves these cupcakes, and we went one time to grab some. I’m not a huge sweets fan, but when I get sweets… cupcakes are one of my loves. But this place had a limited selection(maybe 5 different types?), and you almost couldn’t get one that wasn’t filled in some way. It was also strange that the cupcake’s frosting was usually stacked so high it was bigger than the cupcake itself. It seemed a bit… much. There wasn’t nearly enough actual cake for me, and that’s always my favorite part of cupcakes. I thought they could’ve been more moist. I had a strawberry-flavored cupcake. Overall? Very underwhelming. I will say, though, that they have good customer service.

I really want to like these cupcakes, but surprise-filling really makes me mad. I ordered a red velvet cupcake at the downtown stand, and when I started to eat it, I discovered that it’s filled with some gross vanilla-pudding like substance. So, since the cupcake was already 50% icing to begin with, once I scooped out the middle there was basically no cake! Which is a shame, because the cake was very moist and yummy(unlike most cake in Denver). Also I would not consider this icing to be «cream cheese icing» … if you close your eyes, this cupcake tasted and smelled like a chocolate cupcake with white buttercream icing. But seriously… warn your customers of filled cupcakes!!!

By the time we made it into GiGi’s, it was 6:10pm(they close at 7pm) on a Saturday evening so their selection was limited. They had the following: CUPCAKES($ 3.25): White Midnight Magic Chocolate Chip, Midnight Magic Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Turtles, Miss Princess, Kentucky Bourbon Pie, Chocolate Caramel Macchiato, Banana Toffee Pie, Gluten-Free, Caramel Sundae and Milk Chocolate Cookie Dough. MUFFINS($ 2.50): Apple Cinnamon, Blueberry CHEESECAKECUPCAKES($ 3.75): Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cheesecake, Turtle Cheesecake and Classic Cheesecake. None of the cupcakes really appealed to me. Most of their cupcakes are a plain batter and the specialty comes in the icing.(Example: The chocolate turtle cupcake was just a plain chocolate cupcake and the icing was caramel flavored with a sprinkle of pecans). I finally opted for a blueberry muffin. It was so-so. It was moist but the flavors tasted a little off to me. The staff was exceptionally nice, but ultimately, their products didn’t appeal to me.
