Lots of food to choose from as well as beers on tap. Had the spinach artichoke dip and was pleased. Also has a sports bar feel.

Ok so I have been to the one in Portland and I think they have one in LA or maybe not. Anyway my boss always gives me these gift cards. So I go in to use it while in Denver. I waited almost 35 minutes for food and lunch and then it was cold — really one person sitting at the bar? Bartender was nice but said and i quote«we have a hard time training and keeping good staff. I cant leave the bar otherwise Id have gotten your food sooner?» really? so then i go to use the gift card and they say it is not valid.(or a VERYOVERPRICEDBURGER — it was average not worth $ 20) I am late already so I just paid for my food and thought id figure it out later. I get back into the office and tell my boss. he is pissed he calls the company and then they say no it ISVALID. The stupid server did not know how to redeem. I am very pissed/the worst is the company was not really apologetic so now I have to go to another one. I am going to SF in a few weeks I will try another concept so far they are AWFUL!

I recently went to this establishment for some apps and drinks. I like the décor and all the lights with the filament showing(not sure if that’s what they are called, but you can catch my drift). Definitely a good place to go for drinks. They have over 100 beer selections and variety of different cocktails. With that being said, the food was nothing special. It was mediocre at best. I got the chicken lettuce wraps accompanied with a sweet chili Thai sauce. My husband and I shared the tuna and avocado roll. Some pieces didn’t have avocado or cucumber while others had very little avocado(see pics I posted). My husband got a Philly cheese steak and although the meat was juicy, it lacked flavor. All in all, go for drinks but if you are hungry eat elsewhere.

Planned a last minute business event for 45ish guests. Objective was casual, fun mingling dinner. Henry’s dedicated two full sides of their giant bar and lounge area to our party– it was the exact atmosphere I was seeking. Manager Tom was easy to work with and so accommodating. A+ service from Charity, Torrie, Frank and Adam S. They made my entire party feel like VIPs. Delicious food, great vibes and top shelf service. This place was so amazing I went back the next night and I’ll go again every time I visit Denver forever.

Great place to grab some beers and watch sports! A group of us wanted to watch the football game and grab some beers prior to dinner. The place was packed and our server still managed to take care of us. She made sure all 6 of our glasses were cold/full at all times! I give the atmosphere, beer selection and service 4 stars! The only item we tried off their menu were the onion rings… they were awesome!

Great place! We went to the bar for happy hour prior to dinner and the ice on the bar to keep your drink cold is cool! They had some $ 5 beers to choose from on happy hour and some cheaper cocktails. There are shuffleboard tables near the bar too so we attempted to look like pro’s for a bit.(FAILED) There was a group of 12 of us and our server was fantastic. We ordered the cheese curds, calamari, and onion rings to start. Be careful — there are some peppers that are fried and look exactly like the curds and I almost died when I ate one. Not really but ew. For dinner I had the mac & cheese burger. The mac and cheese on it was kind of burnt and heavily seasoned. I think next time I would just get the regular burger. Everyone else in the group said their food was good! Check this place out!

Overall, I recommend you look elsewhere. Even the simplest dishes are disappointing and prepared with poor quality ingredients. On top of everything, the prices are on the expensive side. Pros: –Only place open on Christmas Day –Cool industrial theme –Friendly waiter Cons: –Average to poor quality food. With a family of five we tried three burgers, their Mac and cheese, a cod dish, and their fancy waffle fries. All was disappointing with mismatched spices and let’s say passable flavors. None of us would go back. –Overpriced. On average, each dish is about $ 16(and you’re getting below average food, so.) Wish we could have gone to a trusty chain instead — but the Hard Rock Café across the street was closed, along with every other decently rated restaurant on 16th Street Mall.

Great hangout! 1st experience and impression are awesome… Kudos #1 to the off-the-hook service… From our greeting to the server to the manager: top notch! Our hot wings appetizer was average… not bad but nothing to rave about… Same with my burger… Just ok, not bad… Meh! Looking forward to returning as this place is definitely one of the coolest new hangout places on 16th St mall… Tip to management: the big ugly wall between the bar and restaurant is exactly that… A wall separating patrons from each other that’s simply weird and not conducive to the social nature of the space…

Pure and utter junk! Rude staff, late and cold food, apathetic management. Save yourself your time, money, and patience. This place pissed off the entire party of 12 we came in with. This place will go under very soon. WATCH!

Great ambiance and service. Food was OK. I had the orange chicken and for $ 16 it should have had more chicken, less fun noodles. Service was great and beer list is quite sizable! I’ll definitely go back and try the happy hour menu.

We popped in Henry’s on accident really of wanting and need to use the bathroom bar hopping around Denver. It has a nice fireplace which we sat around in th back and were able to catch some college football. Unfortunately there was group of rowdy guys back there, but we tolerated them. Service was a little slow, but we may have been in the middle of shift change. We ordered the Irish stew which was a bit watery, but the cocktails were strong, and it seemed like a real deal Irish Bar. My friends said it gets crazy during the Kentucky Derby, which puzzles me. Good bar for drinks, and authentic Irish fare.

Sadly disappointed. Great location– large open feel to the layout. Tons of TV’s showing all the College Football games this past Saturday night. Service is the saving reason for 3 stars. We originally were on the list to wait for a dining room are table but found two adjacent spots in the common tables behind the bar. Our server was very personable– making us feel right at home and getting Jenn a cocktail fairly quickly. Overall he was very friendly and did a great job. Food= sadly disappointing. We started off with some Sesame Lettuce Wraps which were pretty tasty– however very messy. After looking over their selections I decided on the BBQ Bacon Burger and Waffle Fries mainly from our server’s recommendation. The Burger should’ve been called Onion Burger because(as you can see in my photo) I’m sure there was an entire onion fried up between a rather generic bun– of yeah there was also a burger patty too. I love a nice thick ½ lb beef burger cooked rare and juicy. Well– I got a smallish beef patty cooked med-rare(and cold) on one half and well done and dry on the other-(think left and right sides) Not good. I also opted to add Gorganzola to my waffle fries. eh– sounded appetizing and different enough… right? Well again look at my photo– and tell me if it looks like vomit-covered waffle fries. Not good again. Jenn made a healthier entrée choice– but regretted hers as well. $ 20 for a salad? really? Again– look at the photos– basically a few oz of over seasoned Ahi Tuna scattered atop basic romaine lettuce mix with some dressing. Not really what she was hoping for either. So my recommendation is that Henry’s Tavern could be a great place on the the 16th Street Mall to catch some sports action with a drink. But then just about EVERY place on that stretch is. As for food– try it out for yourself.

For some reason this place feels hidden even though it’s right on the 16th street mall. The space is beautiful with tall ceilings and an industrial décor. There are plenty of TVs to watch games. Bar seating is first come first serve. We got a table. Our server was super friendly and did a great job. I believe her name is Gabby. My husband asked for a Guinness, and he wanted it poured correctly(snob). They did a great job. However the Guinness was little bit colder than expected. Unfortunately they were out of a lot of their specialty beers, so I opted for wine. My husband ordered one of their pizzas. I ordered the signature burger. It was great and cooked to order. The pizza was really good. I loved the crust. Overall a good meal, but like past reviews have mentioned the bill was a bit higher than expected and definitely higher in comparison to a lot of the restaurants in the area. Sure I’d go again but prolly not my first choice in the area.

The boy and I decided to eat here on an afternoon of walking around 16th St, on a Monday off. The menu seemed extensive, and they had me at «Tempura fried cheese curds.» While the food was decent, it seemed overpriced for what it was, and the service could use some work. We started with drinks, and our waiter explained the menu to us and that everything was made from scratch, except basic things like condiments, so I was prepared to be impressed. The tempura fried cheese curds, WERE delicious, but we barely had time to enjoy them before our entrees came out. We both ordered salads, and although our poor, confused waiter said that mine had both blue cheese, AND a red wine vinaigrette, there was little to no dressing on it at all. I have never heard of a salad having two dressings on it– I think he saw that it had blue cheese INIT and was incorrect. The chicken in the cobb salad had good flavor but there was not much of anything else which was disappointing since it cost over $ 15. We decided to have dessert, and the donut holes with Nutella and raspberry sauce(with a framboise ale) did not disappoint, but two different servers explained to us what it was, and when our dessert was ready, our plates had still not been cleared, and the waitress not so subtly told our flaky waiter to «pre-bus» so she could set the food down. AWKWARD. As we were getting ready to be done our meal, our poor waiter John explains to me about the point program they have, and I fill out an entire application with my contact info. Upon doing so, he takes the form away and tells me I have to do it AGAIN, because the first card wasn’t activated. At this point, I don’t really think I’ll be coming back any time soon to earn points, but I do it again anyway. We had to box up our own meal, were given two boxes when we asked for one, and the whole meal felt like a general«cluster mess.» I’m sure the waiter was new, or having an off day, but it sort of took away from the experience– especially for what we paid! The free beer samples were a bonus, for sure, but next time I think I would go elsewhere, or just have drinks and appetizers. Not worth the hassle for a whole meal!

Finally had the chance to stop by Henry’s. I’ve been interested in coming here since I heard of its opening! Came to watch the Broncos, drink some beer and eat. I wish I could give more than a 3 star rating, but I have to agree with many reviews that commented on the service being rather slow. It wasn’t super busy yet when we got here and granted I was the only one at the table waiting on 3 others to arrive, it took 10 mins for anyone to even acknowledge me or ask if I wanted water or anything to drink. I’m a server and greeting a table as quick as possible is important. The service the rest of the stay continued to be rather slow and not super attentive. The beer selection here is amazing! 100 beers on tap and they have everything. A beer for every person. Ciders, wheats, IPAs, and seasonal beers too. I tried a different beer each round and was pleased with them all! I ordered the whole romain Caesar to start and it was delicious. I love the presentation(I posted a photo) and it was a great twist on your normal Caesar. The Parmesan dressing and roasted tomatoes made it come together well. I’ll definitely be ordering this again. For my main dish I ordered the Mongolian beef wok entrée(also posted a photo of this). I really enjoyed this dish. The rice and the portion of beef was pretty big for the price of the dish which I wasn’t too sure about. The beef was a little bit salty, but regardless I enjoyed it and ate almost the whole things. I can’t wait to come back and try more appetizers and entrees. Oh and beer too!

The staff is working real hard to make sure customers are happy with their experience. We tried the lettuce cups which were delicious. More lettuce would have made them perfect. I ordered a Mongolian beef salad and they accidentally brought me the Mongolian beef entrée. When I made Sarah aware, she fixed it immediately and was very friendly. My husband had the Mac and cheese burger. It was way too tall, but it was really good. He paid extra to sub the regular fries for poutine fries. They were pretty good, not great. With the many TVs and the awesome rewards program they have, we will definitely be back.

Part of the RUI restaurant group, this place gets it’s namesake from Henry Weinhardt. I’m sure they have Henry’s beer but they also have a great tap beer selection; 130 of them, to be exact, as my very friendly server, Charity, informed me. She further informed me that they had only been open 8 days, so they are quite literally the new kids on the block. That probably explains why Henry’s was full of life when most of the other places I passed looked dead. The fish and chips I had were hand battered, according to Charity. The fish was moist, the crust crispy and they were served really hot, just the way I like them. The fries that served as a landing spot for the fish were seasoned with some sort of spice. I prefer just salt on my fries, but that’s just a matter of preference. I didn’t really care for the coleslaw; it was just a little too acidic for me, but the tartar sauce(which makes or breaks fish and chips to me) was really good. I’m a fish and chips freak and Henry’s did the dish justice. I tried a couple of those 130 beers, a Green Flash Black Rye IPA and a Great Divide Yeti Imperial Stout. Great Divide is local to Denver, so they obviously try to feature local beers on their taps. The chalkboard on the wall promised live music from a local band on certain nights. There’s that local theme again. Even though they may be corporately run, the friendly, knowledgeable servers, the straight-up menu, the broad tap selection and the effort to try to think locally will bring me back if I’m ever back in Denver.

We walked into this bar after we had a hard time locating another place — and I’m so glad we did! Little did we know that Henry’s Pub had only opened a few days ago. I hope they maintain the same great grand opening atmosphere and vibe years from now! We were treated like old friends and regulars as soon as we sat down. Everyone was SO nice. It felt more like friends wanting to talk you into«just one more beer» or «come on, try this amazing dessert» than waiters and bartenders taking an order. We sat at the bar and ordered a sampler and a pint. Though I only ordered a sampler of 4 local craft brews, I didn’t care for 3 of them. Within moments, I had sample upon sample of other beers to ensure I left happy. Five more, in fact — one of which was a mix of two beers one of the bartenders dreamed up. So much fun! We’d eaten at another restaurant before visiting the first night. But after watching platter after platter of wings, salads, fries and more be served, we came back a few days later for lunch. The hot wings were delicious. I’m not a big fan of blue cheese but the Gorgonzola coleslaw they were served was really good. My boyfriend had the sausage and mushroom pizza. And it must have been good because he couldn’t stop picking at the topping even after he announced he was full. I’m not sure when I’ll be back in Denver but, if I am, I’ll go back just to try the dessert menu. I never got to try the key lime pie or homemade ice cream sandwiches and I was dying to!
