As a child and young adult, I was scarred by some very rude voice teachers who told me not to even try. It seems silly — I mean, how hard is singing? But it can be an intensely personal expression. Rachel is a fantastic, patient, encouraging teacher. I feel so comfortable with her, and she has been able to explain the basics to me in a really simple, easy to follow way. I’m looking forward to seeing how far I can go with her! I can’t even imagine how awesome she is with her younger students.

My kids love Rachel– she teaches piano so it’s fun and they look forward to it every week. They are trying to teach me to play, based on only a few months of classes so far. I also love that Rachel encourages open mic nights and lets the kids get on stage, in front of a crowd, to sing or play whatever they are comfy with. pure awesomeness!!!
