I was having a lazy day and decided to get delivery from iSushi. They have so many options at great prices, and you can order through Bite Squad. I ended up getting a spicy scallop roll, a spicy salmon roll, a Tasty Maki, and ikura sushi. The spicy scallop roll was super tasty and had some nice chunks of sweet, velvety scallops. The spicy salmon roll was very fresh, and the salmon basically melted in my mouth which was amazing. I appreciated that neither were overly mayonnaise covered. The ikura sushi had a delightful, briny flavor. My least favorite ended up being the Tasty Maki. I thought the shrimp was a bit thickly battered. The flavors were overall good, but it couldn’t compete with the freshness of the other rolls. I saw they have a happy hour, and I look forward to checking it out some time!

I just had this delivered. I did not have sushi, I had teriyaki chicken and vegetable fried rice. I was very impressed with the food. My girlfriend had sushi and she says it was alright. She also mentions that sushi is different everywhere. We will be ordering in from here again. It seemed to me to be somewhat more upscale than your regular Chinese restaurant.

Let me disclaimer — I have relatively low standards for sushi(as in normally I’ll eat any sushi), but STAYAWAY. 1. Order was delivered(30 minutes ahead of schedule which was nice), but the bag and food reeked of cigarette smoke 2. Order was wrong — they gave me the wrong nigiri 3. The nigiri was rotten(rolls had potential — at first), first time I have EVER pushed aside a piece of sushi because it was inedible 4. Next there was a bone in the salmon in one of my rolls and finally the last straw… 5. HAIR. There was a 3 inch long hair in one of my rolls. $ 60 and I threw the order away after 25% of the meal. Called restaurant, they were nice enough to refund me.

WARNING!!! I can not speak on the sushi, but I highly recommend if you want hibachi or the regular menu food, GOSOMEWHEREELSE! I compare the hibachi steak and chicken that I got and the teriyaki chicken that my girlfriend got to a mediocre Chinese buffet. Our entire experience from start to finish was a complete nightmare. After we drove around for 30 min trying to figure out where to park we finally made it into the restaurant about 20 minutes before they closed. We felt extremely rushed the entire time we were there, but I expected that somewhat because of how late we were. We tried to make up our minds quickly so we didn’t keep them there late, and we tried to make that apparent to him so he would feel better knowing that we weren’t going to be jerks and take our sweet time. Their parking is not marked and to me would have been impossible to find had we not went in and asked after driving around forever. There is only about 6 or 7 spots anyway so if it’s full, your pretty much screwed anytime after 6pm(when you can not park alongside the street anymore). When we sat, we ordered a water and a double vodka press, he didn’t know what the drink was and when we started to explain to him he cut me off and said oh, I know, and walked away. He came back with a tiny cocktail glass full of ice, most definitely a single shot of vodka and completely flat Sprite. There was absolutely no carbonation in it at all. Normally that wouldn’t be a big deal, and it wasn’t to us at first, either, but I’ll get to why toward the end. Then they brought out the food, which looks, taste, presentation and quality earn 1 out of 5 stars from me. As soon as they dropped the plates off I was so disappointed I was ready to leave, but since we drove 30 minutes to get there and then 30 more to park, I didn’t want to get right back into the car, plus I didn’t want to ruin it for the lady if she was going to enjoy it at least a tiny bit. Anyway, to make the rest of the story short, the food was awful and we asked for the check and some to go boxes and when he brought the check we realized that he charged us more for that awful drink than my hibachi chicken and steak cost. Anywhere I’ve ever been in my life, if you want premium liquor, you must specify that, otherwise when you say vodka, they pour house vodka. Which is the reason if your drink sucks, you can’t complain. Or at least warn somebody when their tiny drink is going to cost more than their entrée. I know it’s not their job to quote prices on everything, but I’m sure if they were in that situation, they would be just as upset as we were when we were caught completely off guard when we saw what we were charged… Especially when it was not what we ordered… Had we known we were paying PREMIUM prices for what was suppose to be a «PREMIUM» drink, we would have sent it back. But we thought it was a cheap well drink so we sucked it up and shrugged it off… We are not ones to complain ATALL! I usually don’t even complain if my steak is over cooked, I’ll just make it work, and I will still pay for it. Just like I did here. We hated every minute of this experience, but we still paid, kept a smile on our face and left. They obviously lost a customer, and surely more once I tell my friends, family and everyone on Unilocal what a terrible experience I had there. I usually would never write a review but those people knew exactly what they did. We went to this place because their menu shows great prices and how can you mess up hibachi, right… WRONG, these guys figured it out… By the time it was said and done, we could have just gone to Benihana and had a guaranteed amazing meal and experience to match it, for the same price. We can not afford Benihana but once every so often. So we were looking for a cheaper alternative. We weren’t expecting Benihana quality, but we darn sure didn’t expect the DISASTER that was«iSushi». I read all of the reviews on Unilocal beforehand and for the most part everything was good, but all of the reviews I saw were about the sushi and the fact they deliver. So I figured if the sushi is so good, surely the hibachi can’t be too bad. I was wrong. I’m not trying to piss and moan, but this experience really upset us, and even though the food was for the birds, the awful service is what really grinds my gears. They could have EFFORTLESSLY made our experience less than miserable, but they did not make even a microscopic attempt. I, in all honesty, would have much rather spent that $ 60 on even just one, Little Caesars Hot-N-Ready pizza… Hopefully this review helps somebody. I PROMISE, I am not a «Nit-Picky» person and I keep things to myself… But this was SOBAD that if I can even help keep just 1 person from wasting their time, money, evening and good mood on this place, I’ll feel better that I suffered it… My pain your gain! Just go to Benihana for hibachi. Trust me.

Walking in at 6:30pm on a Friday, the restaurant was empty. First bad sign. The sushi was decent. Our waiter was very inattentive and even forgot to bring out our appetizer. The food that was brought out was incorrect, and we were charged for a roll that we hadn’t ordered(but that was taken off). Overall, we are not happy with this experience.

Not all experiences have been bad here. I usually go in for their cheap sushi lunch specials. Their Spicy Red Snapper Maki is what keeps me going back. There have been a handful of times their sushi has made me feel sick after. I eat at other sushi places, so it has something to do with them. I am done ordering delivery from them. They are about 4 blocks from my house and this last time it took 2 hours. I ordered hibachi everything was so cold that I had to nuke it. Overall, if you are looking for a cheap and easy lunch, try it, but don’t expect to much. If you are looking for a nice sushi meal, go someplace else. Some alternatives in the area are Go Fish or my favorite Domo.

Unfortunately, I’m poor because of this restaurant. I just can’t stop. Their sashimi cuts are the best around in my delivery area… I know I order sushi delivery how lame is that. But oh yum. Never been in their restaurant but drive by it often and pretend not to see it. Oooh raw fish. It’s so disgusting yet so amazing. Love it.

I can’t believe these people don’t know me by a 1st name basis by now. I’ve been in multiple times, sometimes as often as once a week and these people still don’t remember me. 4 stars for quality of sushi and certainly not for their ability to make customers feel important.

Stopped in for a bite and was not disappointed! I live in NH and right on the water so I am use to fresh fish right off the boat. The fish we get at our sushi bar is only about three to four hours out of the water! This fish had to be any a day or two old. It was very good!

We decided to give this place a shot because we couldn’t find an ATM in the area. Most of the food carts were too busy or did not take credit cards(first Friday art Event). First of all, the service here was subpar. No one met us at the host/hostess stand. When we asked a waiter that was passing by if we were in the right place, he told the couple before us to sit in an open table. As another opened up, we were never sat, though we decided to seat ourselves. We had been looking at the menu for quite some time, so we were ready to order when another waiter stumbled upon us. We placed our order…, then about 10 minutes later, the waitress that was working our section came over and gave us menus to order. Though our waiter ended up being decent, the overall organization of the restaurant was awful. Food was decent, but nothing to go out of your way for.

I pretty much always order sushi from here. It’s very good. I always get the sweetheart roll, but have had others. Delivery is fast. The appetizers are also good. Staff is nice. Nice location in the santa fe arts district

My wife, her sister and I found this place on Groupon and they had an excellent deal. My sister-in-law loves sushi and I’m new to it. My wife won’t eat raw but loves California Rolls. The atmosphere was calm during lunch and our waitress was great and allowed us the time we needed to look over the menu. We weren’t rushed and she helped with questions we had. The food was, hands down, AMAZING! I didn’t read the fine print on my Groupon, which was for dinner only, so we get to go back for dinner soon. Even without the Groupon, the cost was decent. We definitely will be coming back.

I am torn in writing this review. I have ordered from iSushi several times and have always been happy with my experience. I have tried different rolls and everything I have gotten has been great. They offer delivery through EAT24 which is an awesome option on nights when I am in the middle of doing work and don’t want to leave the apartment. My main complaint is with my service this evening. EAT24 offers the option to place an order for«future delivery». I ordered my food at 530pm, with delivery requested at 730pm. Even though the future delivery time was clearly marked on my order, I received a call from the delivery man just before 6pm saying that he was at my apartment. Luckily, I was down the street so I was able to run home and grab my food only a few minutes later. Food arriving at 6pm was a huge inconvenience though because the dinner was for myself and a friend who was not arriving until 730pm. By the time she got to my apartment, the food was obviously not as fresh as we would have liked. Ultimately, the food is good and I will probably continue to order from iSushi when I need a quick delivery option. I will, however, never again place an order for a «future delivery» time. iSushi and EAT24 should NOT offer that option if they are not going to honor it for customers.

This is hands-down my favorite sushi bar in all of Denver. I have gone here at least 20+ times and every time is superb. They get super busy on the Art Walk nights, so just be ready for that. I went here one night on Christmas Eve because my mother and I were just exhausted after a long week and I had just finished my final semester of college. We were the only people in there and the manager offered us so many samples and free shots. Another time, I brought my roommate who has a severe gluten allergy and they went above and beyond to make sure everything was safe. You’d be surprised how many other sushi restaurants in Denver could care less and don’t do things like clean the knife off between rolls. The sushi is just so incredibly delicious, especially the Fuji roll. MMMM. Highly, highly, highly recommended.

Okay, so my sushi was actually really good. My rolls were decent. I loved the Alaskan roll, and my husband appreciated that the California roll was made with crabstick instead of crab salad. His lunch box was tasty, too, although it didn’t look like a ton of food.(But it filled him up.) However, we ordered a certain amount so that we could get a free roll, and they didn’t deliver our free roll, even though it was clearly on the ticket. We ordered through Eat24, and so Eat24 contacted the restaurant and found out that they could refund the value of the free roll or re-deliver, but the delivery would be 90 minutes in the future. That made it pretty clear what they wanted to happen. So we took the refund, but I was really excited to try that free roll(it was eel and avocado– something I’ve not tried together.) I was disappointed that they didn’t try to make a move to ensure that we come back or order again. I wouldn’t have a reason to if there’s a chance they’ll forget some of the order. What that had been someone’s meal? That’s risky. Excellent customer service would call for some sort of incentive to get a disappointed customer to try again so that you can prove you’re worth it. This was our very first visit! So, yeah, it was good. But my delivery order was incomplete. That’s worth considering before you order delivery, especially if it’s happened to anyone else.

Yay! Isushi to the rescue! After being rejected and abused by Noa Noa down the street, ISUSHI graciously provided perfect venue for our art group for Friday evening at the last possible second, saving the day. We had a large group that got together for the first Friday Art walk, and Isushi went above and beyond to get us a table seated together. The service was excellent, the servers were very very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed great drinks and tasty sushi on the patio on a cooler fall day. This place is great for a group get together on their patio, and the prices were incredible for both drinks and sushi. Very affordable! I will be back. Hurray and big thank you, Isushi!

It’s, meh(2.5 star, 3 at most). Stopped by for lunch on Labor Day because El Noa Noa was closed(how dare they!?!) This confirms my Unilocaling theory that you can’t just randomly walk into a place and expect it to turn out great. Maybe we were attracted by the look of the restaurant: pretty simple, old school, Japanese looking kind of set up, as opposed to a lot of modern Asian fusion places nowadays that also do sushi. I liked our waitress, she sensed we were Chinese and started chatting with us in Mandarin(so much for the authenticity of the restaurant staff, lol). She also told us about First Friday here on Santa Fe. We feel relaxed letting her take care of our orders. We took advantage of the lunch specials and had a Teriyaki Salmon bento which came with soup and salad. The salad dressing is pretty good but the veggies are not the freshest. Thumbs down. But thumbs up for the soup. The salmon was overcooked and soaked in sauce. California Rolls were a little loose. The best thing was the three little Shiu Mai that’s filled with fish, instead of the typical pork. None of the lunch rolls look too filling so we turned to a special roll, Mango Maki: Eel, Tamago, Fresh Mango & Baby Lobster Wrapped in Soy Paper. It was pretty good and you can actually taste the lobster salad. But again, loosely wrapped. Either the sushi chefs were not very skillful, or, as we felt, this place is a little on the stingy side when it comes to portions. The only thing I’m glad about this experience is that I didn’t end up feeling as stuffed as I otherwise would if I’d gone to have Mexican food.
