My experience was less than desirable, she was the only one who allegedly works with Implanon in her office. However, when I went to have mine removed she had to have another Dr. to come in and remove it. Painful experience that took over an hour and shouldn’t take longer than 20 minutes at the most. I felt she was very unprofessional and was very offensive when I told her I was married at a young age. She called my husband a «boy» and insulted my intelligence. I had read several reviews on another site claiming she was judgmental but I thought I would take a chance. I went to two appointments and that was enough for me, professional don’t patronize their patients.

I went to Dr Guggenheim for over 3 years and she helped deliver my son two years ago. During my pregnancy and delivery she was great but after she has really fallen short and the office is terrible. I was encourage by friends and family for along time to find a new OB. As everyone knows it is hard to find a doctor so I kept giving her and the office a chance. The wait time to see her is awful. I have had to leave and reschedule twice because I had been kept waiting over an hour and a half with no response. Average wait time is easily 45 to an hour.
Finally over the last 6 months I have had some minor health issues come up that still have not been properly addressed. Trying to keep her attention or having her help me without coming in multiple times without any real action was starting to get incredibly frustrating.
The final straw was when (after just being to the office the previous week) I went in for another appointment to find out when I got there that they had moved! I actually had to call the number wait on hold for 14 mins for someone to tell me they moved. Nothing on the 14 min recording said anything about a new office. No signs and no mention about moving when I was there the previous week or when I rescheduled.
If you are like me I am a working mom and busy. I don’t have time for a physician that half listens or doesn’t help you right away. I think doctors forget that it isn’t free for me to come in and see them. To drag out appointments and to keep me waiting hours is not the way I want to be treated. Keep in mind that I have seen her for over 3 years and nothing has been done to make the office work more efficiently. I have found a new OB and I am hoping I can get my heath issues finally taken care of.
