When I first move to this complex over 7 years ago I was very happy. Great management and very affordable. A few years ago management changed hands. It all went downhill from there. Maintenance lags, the lobby is always dirty. Due to the neighbor having birds I began having cockroaches coming into my apartment. Families with young children are packed like sardines in these small apartments and are incredibly loud. Cigarette smoke smell coming into the apartment through the air vents. When I complain, I get ‘well, no one else has complained’. Obviously if nobody is speaking up it means its not happening. But the worst of all, rent keeps getting raised every 6 months. Being a good, long time resident means nothing at all. Two of my neighbors moved out in the same week. Very disappointed because I used to love living here, but management is just getting too uncaring and greedy. They fire the managers and cleaning staff every single year — literally. Shame.

I lived at the Korsakov for a year– I moved in January 2013 because I relocated for work otherwise I never would have left. The location is great! A few miles from Cherry Creek, about a mile to the light rail, lots of restaurants within walking distance and lots of them also deliver which is a plus. The Korsakov is right off I25 but I felt completely safe living here. The cost of living here cannot be beat! I did major apartment searching in Denver, and many of the places in the general area of the Korsakov have a similar base rent cost but its the extras here that made all the difference. The only necessary utility you pay is electricity. They are also completely upfront with you about the lease agreement, security deposit, and rent. Unlike other places I have rented from there were no surprises. And, after a year your lease goes month to month which is nice because it gives you a lot of flexibility. Maintenance here is the best! I had a few little things that needed fixing, each time I put in a work order in the morning and by the time I was home from work that night it was completed. They also keep common areas very clean(hallways, pool, party room…). The apartment itself had been recently updated and painted. The floor plan is open and the balcony was an awesome perk! It’s much more outdoor space then you would expect. They also have a pool, party room, basketball court, and more. My neighbors were all very nice. There is a lot of diversity in this building which I appreciate– however if you don’t this may not be the place for you. The Korsakov is by far the best place I have rented!

I just moved here from Chicago and I think we found a great place. It’s right by a Light Rail and 25. The rent here is pretty cheap compared to other places we’ve looked at but that was in LODO. They have a nice basement area where you can play billiards, watch TV, ping pong, and rent it our for a party. Another great feature is the have an INDOOR pool! I haven’t been here for winter yet but I would imagine that would be pretty cool to have. The staff is also super nice and so are the ppl. It’s a really diverse population here so if you’re a racist, you need not apply. But we like the diversity and the culture here. Only problem about this place is moving. You’re suppose to have to move underground but no truck or even big car for that matter can fit in the underground underpass. You pretty much have to move it from outside to inside which can be a walk. Make sure you have friends or family to help you move.
