I was not impressed with the service that I got. I had to wait over an hour to see a doctor about getting my eyes checked and then afterwards they didn’t have what I needed. I only went to use my insurance anyway.

When I went in to this store, there were signs all over that read«buy one, get one free.» The eye doctor was nice. The rest of the staff was rude and the receptionist took 40 minutes to check on my vision insurance benefits while she was chatting with another clerk. Then when I went to pick out my eyeglasses, I was told the special deal– buy one, get one free– did not apply to anyone who had vision insurance.

on 7÷14÷15 I took my daughter in to look at frames after having a negative experience where she went for her eye exam, just 2 blocks east of Look Optical. We were assisted right away by a gentleman named Louis. He was friendly, helpful and gave us superior customer service! We will definitely return and recommend to others. Additionally, several months later I recommended a friend to Look Optical and I went with her to choose glasses. Once again EXCEPTIONAL customer service! My friend and I left to have lunch and while we were eating the receptionist called to inform my friend that her glasses were done.(It was less than 2 hours!!) My experiences with this location, services and customer service has been nothing but positive! I highly recommend them. They also accept medicaid, medicare and CHP+ as well as coupon offers that they typically keep at the front desk. They had a great selection and very reasonable prices!

I went there for an eye exam only and they did a great job. Very friendly, I would recommend this place!

Not impressed, sorry. They wouldn’t even tell me the cost of a contact lens exam on the phone. Then when you get there the price on their coupon doesn’t include the contact lens fitting even though it’s for an «eye exam and 2 boxes of contacts». Very shady. Reminded me of used car dealers — but lest honest.

I’ve been going here for about 4 yrs. The service, selection, and prices are excellent. The doctor gave me great advice regarding lasiks and contact lenses. Even when I goofed up and told them that I needed reading glasses when I needed computer they changed out the lenses without charging me. Also I am rough on glasses and they have repaired multiple pair at no charge. I. highly recommend this business. Also a bit of advise regarding lasiks — get at least three opinions. It wasn’t until my third opinion that someone was honest enough to tell me that my corneas were too thin for lasiks and it would be risky.

Called up for a same day appointment and was told to come over for a walk in. When I got there they said it would be a at least an hour and a half wait. I went to The Bent Lens instead. I hate having my time wasted.

I had to get glasses after 7 years of LASIK bliss. They did a great job, quick turn around(2 hours) and were willing. To spend the time with me to understand my shiny new bifocals. Good shop. Not super fancy, and not the newest super col frames from fancy designers that I couldn’t afford anyway. Two thumbs up, glad I went there instead of the big mall rip off chains.

I have been here a few times over the years, and I’ve been very satisfied with all my experiences. The staff are friendly and speak Spanish if needed, the store has been remodeled within the last couple of years, and they have very new technology to scan your retinas for any diseases or issues. Using their retina scanner, which only cost me $ 20, they found a freckle inside my eye! I didn’t even know this was possible. This optical center is the first that I’ve been to which offered such as scan. Apparently, people can get cancer in their eyes, so it is good I decided to do that. Now they can measure any growth of the freckle over time, which could indicate a problem. I’ve purchased both contacts and eye glasses from this location. I’ve been able to make same day appointments and be finished within an hour. They usually have my contacts in stock, which is always a nice plus. One thing I appreciate is that they recommended I change my contacts with some that are more breathable, and I am thankful for the change. I hardly notice they are in now. The prices are good, probably comparable with Costco and other discount retailers. I’ve gone to Costco for my eye care in the past, and I’ve been happier with Look Optical. They have a large selection of eye glasses, both on the cheap side and the designer brands. They take insurance such as Medicare. They also have a large selection of contacts. If you are looking for an inexpensive yet competent and friendly optical office, I say come here. You’ll be glad you did.
