She’s been doing my hair for 18 years. She is always pulling new techniques out on me that I’ve never seen. She’s very knowledgeable and takes her time to understand exactly what color I am looking for. Believe me; I change my mind a lot! She’s got it dialed in. Go see Katie!

Love this place and love Diana! I’ve been getting my hair done by Diana for a hot minute now and she never disappoints. I moved to Denver almost two years ago and have shorter hair… I was having a hard time finding someone who actually spent time on my hair and gave a great cut. I went off reviews and because Lucky Lou’s was in my neighborhood. Diana is an amazing hair stylist! She takes her time and get’s it perfect — cut and color. Highly recommend.

I love this place! I’ve been getting my hair done by Lacey since before she even opened this salon. The aesthetic is super fun, the vibe is so comfortable and laid back and everyone that works here is very sweet and personable! I always get fantastic service!

After a long hiatus, I’m lucky to have Gabe back as my hair expert and I am loving the vibe at Lucky Lu’s!
Gabe has always been a true professional and I’ve missed him the past couple of years. The conversation is easy-​going, he has a positive attitude and provides great customer service. My cut and color always look good — no «missed» spots or offers to «fix» any mistakes — he doesn’t let mistakes happen in the first place!
It’s always been easy for me to schedule with Gabe, I’ve never had to wait more than a week or two (at most) to find an open appointment time that works with my busy calendar.
I also want to mention how nice it is to be greeted by the other gals working. Both Lacey and Darcey make me feel welcome when I come in, taking time to make eye contact and acknowledge my presence with a greeting and warm smile. This little bit of customer service is much appreciated!
I must also put in a good word for Jessie. My daughter needed some major help with a bad color job and needed it fixed quickly, as she was being filmed for a television pilot that week. She gave my Hannah the best damned color job I’ve ever seen — I was so relieved and so was my daughter, as you can imagine!
I would highly recommend booking an appointment with any of the stylists at Lucky Lu’s. It’s obvious they take their jobs seriously and I appreciate their professionalism, customer service and commitment to quality.

Great hair salon! First place that didn’t mess up my hair, even a little. The customer service is great and all the employees are really friendly. The salon is also very fun and stylish and always has cute jewelry and things of the sort to check out. Definitely wont be going anywhere else anytime soon!

I love this place! Now that I’ve found Diana and Lucky Lu’s I’m never going anywhere else. The place has a great vibe and the service is superb. You can get a glass of wine with your haircut and free touch-​ups in between cuts. With affordable prices for cut and color and a friendly atmosphere, what more can you ask for?

I love Lucky Lu’s. I see Lacy, who is awesome! She does a great color and cut! I always walk out loving my hair. The salon is very clean and so cute! I love the little displays with jewelery and I usually walk out the door with a new piece! I highly recommend! 5 stars all around!

Love lucky lu’s went there today for the second time. My hair turned out amazing! Great service, great girls, great conversation, and a great place to escape for a little pampering.

It is always a struggle to find a new hair stylist, but I think I’m set for awhile. I’ve been going to Diana for about a year (maybe a little less), and up until recently was just getting trims. About a month ago I decided I wanted color, and she did a fantastic job. Can’t wait to go back for a touchup!

Went here recently after seeing so many positive reviews. Had Diana work with me and she was awesome. My cut was great – lots of texture after it was done. As a guy, it is great to get away with just wake up and go in a pinch. Always a sign of a good cut. As a professional, it is great to get a quality cut at a good price ($ 25) and she was friendly and all-​around a pleasure to spend time with doing something I often resist until my neck hair starts to form dreads. :)
Bonus: they have wine and beer for their customers and lots of street parking nearby. Woohoo

I moved here from a different part of the country and booked an appointment based on my location and other reviews… I got my hair cut here a few weeks ago but held off a review until now. I wanted to see how my cut held up. It hasn’t.
Booking online was easy. However, when I booked it said «$ 40 and up» for a haircut. Fair enough. However, I would think, in this day and age, the actual price could be pinned down before the actual appointment. Perhaps when the confirmation email is sent, the stylist and his/​her charge could be conveyed. No surprises after the fact. It just seems like the courteous thing to do.
My haircut was nice. Just nice. My stylist was nice. Just nice. I was charged $ 55 for «nice». I expect more for that amount of money. Maybe I expect too much?
I won’t be back. I’m due for a color but at Denver prices, I now want to be wowed. I’ll keep looking.

I just got a hair cut here yesterday and the place was nice and Diana did a great job. I had attempted to cut my own hair and made a mess! She SAVED MY LIFE! She was fast and courteous, friendly and understanding. She did the best to fix my messy crazy hair cut I’d done.
The best of it all was she was pretty fast. Which in my book is great, I don’t particularly like sitting in a salon for hours on end. She understood my need to keep my hair as long as possible which I can’t praise enough! Usually I get trigger happy hair dressers who want to chop my length off, even when I specifically ask to just get a trim. I’d come back for a trim here any time.
The waiting area is nice and spacious, with lots of reading material. I also didn’t wait long at all. I suppose here is when fast service is good too!
Easy place to get to and plenty of street parking in that block. The place was nice and clean too.

So happy to have found a place I want to stay! Diana has done such an amazing job with keeping my long thin hair alive and beautiful and not to mention how great she is at color! Thank you Diana and I look forward to you helping out with my wedding hair!

Is there a 10 star option here? I’ve been going to see Darcey for 3 – 4 years now and just love her. I’ve known her for much longer than that, but I really enjoy going to Lucky Lu’s. There aren’t many salons where you can enjoy a glass of vino and good conversation for that wonderful two hours while you’re being turned into a goddess. I love the funky colors and design of the salon as well — always something new to look at.

I was excited to find a place with 5 stars. I was going in as a walk in for a pedi. Well I walked in and sat down and nobody acknowledged my existence for 10 minutes. So I left…

I’ve found my salon!
Lacey has done my hair and everytime I come in with an «I don’t know what I want to do» attitude, she manages to figure out something creative and gorgeous for me. The salon itself is cute with a vintage and homey vibe to it — not overcrowded with too many stylists or customers at once. The staff are all very friendly as well. The prices are pretty reasonable for what I’ve found around town and for what I typically get.
All around a great experience!

Jessie Rocks! She has cut my hair twice now and I’m pretty sure I’m going to start getting it cut more frequently than twice a year! She does a great job and we have the most interesting conversations. I’d say she squeezes an extra ounce or two of attractiveness out of this average looking dude:-) Can’t complain about that!

Unfortunately, Kristy left, but her replacement, Diana, is a wonderful colorist and stylist. I’m terrible about keeping up a 6-​week haircut maintenance schedule, but Diana made it easy for me with her working late hours during the week. I can go straight to the salon after work. Diane is a nice addition to the salon.

The salon is super cute and they are expanding as well! I love the old barber chairs, such a great touch!
Lacey did my hair and she’s amazing! She is super personable and makes you feel like everything you tell her about your hair is very important!
I have found my new hair salon in Denver! :)
