Restaurant failed to honor coupons for pizza that I was awarded as part of a community event. Apparently this franchise has a new owner that refuses to honor previously issued coupons, even if they are with dates printed on the coupons. Very disappointed and i will never return. The pizzas pretty average anyway, nothing better than Domino or Pizza Hut.

Ordering was easy over the phone, the woman taking my order was helpful in answering my questions about their types of pizza/crust. The delivery was quick(I do live less than half a mile away), the order was correct(except receiving ranch when I asked for Bleu cheese), but the food is just not to my liking. The pizza is fast-food type I.e. Pizza Hut, Domino’s, Papa Johns, but it’s a little better. The wings are in the same class, small, mushy, average flavor. The price is as expected. Being an Italian from New York I was hoping this might be my spot, as it is incredibly hard to find New York style pizza and buffalo wings(on the bone, «boneless» are NOT wings), but unfortunately I chock this place up to be a slightly better competitor to the other fast-food pizza places.

Food lacked seasoning. I think this is a local chain. Definitely edible though and the price is right.

I’m a pizza delivery snob. I refuse to eat Dominos, Pizza Hut, etc. So imagine my surprise when our pizza showed up, and it was really GREAT! We just moved to the Park Hill area, and didn’t know where to get a good pizza delivered. Even my incredibly picky«I only want cheese on my pizza» ten year old ate three pieces of their cheeseburger pizza! We will definitely order from here again. Now if you’ll excuse me… I’m off to enjoy my pizza coma.

I just watched a cook repeatedly touch her hair then the pizza while she was making she even took another person’s order touching the register and their money. Not wearing any gloves. She was nice and so was the guy that took my order but doesn t mean I want everything in the restaurant touching my pizza.

If you like pizza, you should stay away from this place. This pizza quality is just not too enjoyable. I’ve ordered here a few times and they have messed up the order, probably about 2 out of 3 times. Their flat bread leaves much to be desired.

I ordered my first pie from them for the spinach can promo. Not only was the pizza excellent but the customer service was quick and served with a smile. I will be back for more.

Free pizza on March 26th when you bring in a can of spinach to participating stores? Awesome! All canned food will be donated to the Food Bank of the Rockies? Even better! …in theory. We went out and purchased a handful of canned food so we could stop in, drop off the canned food and grab our free pizza. We called on our way so they could get our pizza going, but they said since they had received so many requests they were no longer honoring their promotion… Nowhere in their promotional email did it say it was limited to a certain amount of people. It was a fantastic campaign but you HAVE to follow through, especially when the entire event benefits a great local charity. I’m sure they were swamped but you should do your research before throwing out a canned food drive email. And certainly don’t ever turn away charitable donations. Here’s a suggestion: Let those people continue to bring in canned food and give them a coupon for a pizza at a later date. Even a percentage off for later use. At that point it’s not even about the free pizza, it’s the fact that they turned away donations. This was easily one of our favorite pizza spots in the neighborhood so it was pretty disappointing to see something like this.

Bad food, bad service. I ordered breadsticks(and a salad, which I had to order to meet the delivery minimum) on a Tuesday night. It took one hour for the order to arrive. The salad was rotten — wilted, brown, slimy and literally had to be spit out after one bite. When I placed my order, I specifically asked if garlic butter sauce was included with the breasdsticks and was advised that it was included at no cost. Upon arrival, the order of bread-sticks was cold, the garlic butter sauce was NOT included(and when I called back, I was told it would take another 50 minutes for it to arrive via delivery) and the greens in the salad were literally rotten and decomposing. Upon calling to speak to management, the answer I was offered was, «Yeah, this is management.» It wasn’t until pressed that I even received an apology. Don’t patronize these jerks!

I ordered from Marco’s from the first time tonight — I got a flyer in the mail for a 2 topping pizza with a free cheesy bread for $ 12.99. The person on the phone gave me my total as $ 16 and change(they have a hidden $ 2.50 delivery charge) and I felt obligated to tip the driver, as awkward as he was, so my $ 13 pizza ended up closer to $ 20. The pizza was a little greasy and the sauce was pretty bland. I likely won’t order from them again but it was worth a shot.

Insult to injury! here’s how this played out via Unilocal messaging: Edgar O. Customer Service Block & Report Owner Good afternoon Alyx, I am so sorry for your experience at. Marcos. We failed with our customer service and I would love to rectify this situation! I would love to buy you a large pizza up to an $ 18.99 value. The only information I need from you is a phone number and address. I will speak to Tim personally. It’s feedback like this that helps the company to grow. Thanks again. My Response: Hi Edgar, First, I’d like to thank you for your response. I really like your business and this experience has been the only problem that I’ve had. To be honest, I’d like to never see Tim again but I’m willing to give it another shot. *Requested information given here* My Response A MONTHLATER: Edgar, I’m really disappointed that you never followed up on the pizza credit that was offered almost a month ago. I went in on my own to give it another shot(paying full price) and watched THEPIZZAMAKERWIPETHEBACKOFHISHANDMULTIPLETIMES while tossing my pizza and handling telephones at the same time WITHOUTWASHINGHISHANDS! At this point, I’m going to report this to the Better Business Bureau and Health Department. I’m disgusted and my business is better appreciated elsewhere anyway. Thanks for nothing, Alyx Rodriguez

I’ve since ordered from here many times and have never had a problem. The only time I felt I got ripped off was when I ordered food for people who helped me move my stuff into storage and ended up spending $ 60 for two pizzas and two salads. The salads were extremely disappointing. Mine had a few pieces of sliced meat and not a whole lot else. My friend and I were both still starving afterwards, which is not normal for me. They always deliver promptly, though the $ 2.50 charge always pisses me off a little. Isn’t that what pizza places do? Deliver? Then, I feel compelled to tip well on top of that because I’m worried that the restaurant doesn’t give that $ 2.50 to the driver. I’ve never been in and never talked to anyone rude on the phone or when they got here.

Cheap pizza that is great when you are craving a slice but don’t have anyone with whom to share a large pizza at a nice fancy pizzeria. The pizza doesn’t taste fake like places like Domino’s. It’s not high quality but tasted fresh and this location was great for grabbing a fast lunch.

Eh? It’s just okay… Slightly better than the $ 5.00 Little Cesar’s pizza. They offer a $ 6.00 pizza in the lobby of my building on Monday nights. If you get home and don’t want to cook and it’s sitting in your lobby it’s not bad. I wouldn’t drive to pick it up or order it for delivery… Maybe if I was walking by and needed something quick I’d get a slice… Maybe. Really just cheap okay pizza. Nothing special here.

This place is awesome! Better then the other chains around in Denver. They are all about fresh ingredients. The veggies are cut fresh daily, the meats do not have any hormones or anything bad. Dough is made in the store everyday as well. Slices probably aren’t their best product but buying a whole pie. They offer crust toppers which are pretty inventive seeing how they are the only places that do it(garlic butter, Parmesan, and Roma seasoning topper) Won’t go anywhere else for pizza!!! 5 Stars

Mediocre. I can’t really describe this place and my experience there as anything but. I walked in and the girl at the register just say«hey», kind of scowling. I told her it was my first time in, and wanted to try a couple slices, and began to order two different, random slices. She cut me off abruptly saying«no, we only have cheese or pepperoni». That’s kind of weird. Actually really weird. Well whatever, I ordered two pepperoni slices, got them, paid WAY too much(almost $ 10 for two slices of pizza), and went home to eat them. Plain, oily, soggy, and not very tasty. I’ve had worse, but not for the price. I will not be back.

Better than: blackjack, papa johns, pizza hut, lil ceasars Not better than: dominos One of Marco’s things is ‘fresh cut vegetables’, and they arent playing — mine were still crunchy. Im not complaining. It doesnt seem like that should be some extraordinary thing, buts its not all that common either. Another thing that sets them apart from other chains is, they dont skimp on toppings(I hate that… dont you hate that… I hate that); my deluxe uno was packed nicely with what I had ordered, and they say on the menu that they sprinkle their specialty pizzas with extra cheese, and they delivered on that promise. Some chains you already know the pizza will be dry, and you order e/c from the get. Not here. So their motto is simple — fresh toppings, and plenty of them. The crust was good too — a good rise, light, buttery, not chewy, with a light dusting of corn meal. I didnt order any accoutrements such as «cheezy bread» or wings, but its all there. I balked at the 1.89 sodas(20oz), but truth is, they were only 10 cents less at walgreens, as I found out(not an avid soda drinker, but I like it with pizza) and it wasnt worth the two block trek. But pelligrino and perrier is only 1.59 at walgreens if you prefer that anyway. Since this is a chain, I thought it fair to compare them only with other chains. We all know there are about 15 indy pizza places in the immediate vicinity. I can think of seven right off the top of my head. Unfortunately indy doesnt necessarily mean better; some are, some arent. But it usually means more expensive. Marco’s has clearly set store on having reasonable prices; and they have small pizzas(alot of places have stopped making them, not sure why). Truth is, I wanted dominos that night. But Id parked my car after running around all day, my money was in the house, and I didnt feel like jumping back in the car(I live on race st) nor jumping on my bike. Marcos is three blocks away. It only made sense to give them a try. I wasnt familiar with this chain that boasts 350+ locations, but I am now. =) I like Marcos, I like that its three blocks away, their crust is good, they have crust dippers(I will try one next time), I will be back. Welcome to the hood!

Like the previous reviewer, I got so many coupons from these folks that I had to try them. I too was underwhelmed, and felt overcharged for what I got. There’s nothing special here. Think Papa John’s quality with a heftier price-tag. And the wings? Don’t even bother. You’ll get better out of the microwave section at the supermarket. Live and learn, but I won’t be trying it again.
