I will never order from this place again! The delivery was super disrespectful and very rude! Horrible service and now I wish I could remove my tip from my order. Sorry you hate your job dude but don’t take it out on customers.

Been twice, excellent both times. Mongolian and Szechuan Beef, Hot and Sour Soup dishes were excellent. Egg roll was average. Don’t let the«hole in the wall» look fool you, it’s worth the trip.

This is my go to Chinese/Asian place. Super quick delivery, huge portions so you are eating it for like 2 – 3 days. Highly recommend the sesame chicken, orange chicken, chicken fried rice, spicy edamame, steamed dumplings, wonton soup, wings, egg rolls, phở, and app of fried wontons. Hands down the best Mongolian Beef I have EVER had. Make sure to ask for any condiments or utensils you will need when you order and include how many people will be eating or it will come without what you need. Super tasty food, fast delivery, and always happy that they accommodate my request for no MSG. Wonderful place, wonderful people working there, and prompt and respectful delivery drivers. Couldn’t be more happy with these folks and the food.

I’m basing my review on delivery. This is about the FOOD and nothing else like many of the reviews that have been negative. I ordered Vegetable Egg Foo Yung which was AMAZING! If you have not tried egg foo yung, it is basically a Chinese omelet that is fried and then covered in a rich gravy with a protein of your choice. I always order the gravy on the side because it can slosh out of the container and into your bag. I have to give HUGE props to the spicy edamame. They char it on a grill so it has a delicious smoky taste. I’ve never had anything like it. We also got the Mongolian Beef, which my friend said was delicious. Our food was delivered fast and hot. If you want utensils, ask for them because they don’t bring them automatically.

Ordered take out on my lunch break. Got accosted by a clearly drunk homeless woman, trying to pull into the parking lot. The place wasn’t nice and I wouldn’t have eaten in. The woman who took my order and my money was seriously lacking in people skills. The place was in a bit of disarray and was frankly kind of dingy… But, I didn’t have time to change my mind, so I ordered the tofu mu shu and it was outstanding! I was pleasantly surprised.

I usually order through GrubHub. I have mix feelings in this place. It’s usually a hit or miss on how good the food is. The deliver guy is terrible though. He’s actually left our bag of food outside our apartment building because he didn’t want to wait for us to come down. So… Ok food. 3 stars but 1 star delivery.

Favorite place to order delivery. They give you free stuff if you spend certain amounts. Like if you spend 15 dollars you get a free soda! They have the best szechuan chicken(white meat), sweet and sour soup, and pineapple wontons. Their lunch is nicely priced and you get rice and an egg roll with delivery. Perfect when you need a little pick me up after a Friday night on the town. I have ordered and gotten my delivery in 15 minutes before. These people are fast, friendly, and delicious.

Quite disappointed with the quality of the food. I received the food hot and fresh, so I thought that it should be decent. The crispy spring rolls were the only thing that was decent from what I ordered. I ordered sesame chicken. There was more breading than chicken itself. The dish was overtopped with a bland sauce and sesame seeds. Also the broccoli seemed almost at borderline fresh. I couldn’t finish the food I was so taken back. I normally do not write negative reviews because we see enough of them anyways, but this was certainly one that I had to write

I live directly across Broadway from this place. For Chinese take out in Denver, you cannot beat Moon River. The same woman is always working the whole front of house by herself, she’s definitely an immigrant, and she is HILARIOUS. She’s always telling me about«how you Americans love [x] so much». X = paying for apartment with mountain views, swimming, having children, air conditioning. I also enjoy when I call to place an order, she answers, takes my order, and then just says bye. No total. No estimated time. She and I just have a mutual understanding. I’ll be there in 10 minutes, I’ll bring a debit card. Every time I patronize this place, I get nearly the same order — crab cheese wontons, pork pot stickers, and an entrée dish of that evenings choosing(no, this isn’t all for me. Most of the time). Every time it’s delicious. Did I mention they have $ 1 beers? One. Dollar. Beers. All the time! On SoBro! Oh. Don’t get their friend shrimp appetizer. It’s meh.

Came in 6÷20÷15. I had the Chinese curry with tofu for an early dinner. I wouldn’t recommend it. There wasn’t much sauce. I was expecting more sauce because the only curries I’ve had, including Chinese ones had sauce in plentiful quantities. The dish was mostly vegetables and tofu, which were over salted and tasted of bullion cube. Tofu was nicely chewy with a crispy crust, veggies were firm, not over done. Came with a small cup of rice. Extra rice is extra$. However, the waitress was friendly, attentive and patient when I took a while to read the menu, brought me extra rice, and even knew of a place I could get fried chicken feet, which is why I am bumping them up a star. Also the late afternoon/early evening ambiance was relaxing. So relaxing that when I walked in there was a man resting his cheek on a booth table, eyes closed, a water glass in his right hand. They were largely empty of customers, with only the occasional single guy coming in to pick up or order take out. Warm and beautiful with floor to ceiling yellow curtains that cast the room in a soft gold light, black tables, dark brown walls and faux stone tile floor.

Please… heed my warning and avoid this place. I ordered through GrubHub for delivery. The delivery guy must have been tossing my bag around like crazy, because there was a pool of sauce on the bottom of the bag. Open the bag and find put that all of the rice is a literal soup of sauces, I had sticky sauce all over me trying to get my order out of the bag. Thai Iced Coffee? Watered down black coffee with no condensed milk. /None/. Calamari? Well, I ordered this for the yummy sounding sauce that comes with it. I got no sauce and it was ice cold. The two chicken lunch specials were also ice cold, and the chicken was like chewing leather. And, again, the rice in both was so overwhelmed in spilled sauce. I called GrubHub and they got in touch with the restaurant who said they would resend the order. The same delivery guy gets here and barks at me, asking where the food is. I have never had a place actually want the bad food back, but I say fine and go get it. He takes it from me, puts it on the floor and starts –going through all of the containers. He tells me I ate some, so he won’t give me the new food. He’s pointing at the calamari, which I ate two small(awful) pieces of. He walks away with the new food and is calling the restaurant to tell them how I ate the food. This was more ludicrous than I can even put into proper words. After a few moments of blood boiling rage, I grabbed the old, awful food and told him to keep the other food. The guy was an amazingly rude piece of work. GrubHub couldn’t refund me, because I paid in cash, but they threw some GH bucks my way, though I still lost money bothering to give this place a chance. The food was terrible, the order was wrong, the delivery guy is a sociopath, and if it’s their policy to inspect returned food on the foyer floor of an apartment building, then the management is defective, too. Please save yourself the terrible time and waste of money.

I shouldn’t even put a star on this I tried to order for delivery. This place is 4 miles away from me and the woman that answers the phone tells me that this is 10 miles away and hung up on me and I will try to speak with somebody else and they didn’t even understand English I’m new to the area and this place is the worst customer service ever

I’ve ordered from this place a handful of times but my order last night finally prompted me to write them a review because I think they deserve it. Last night I got the peanut curry and the Sriracha beef and both were amazing! The meat was very fresh and the veggies, also fresh and the perfect al dente. Quality meat is hard to come by at most Asian restaurants in Denver. These may be my go-to items to order now from them. The meat to veggie combo was perfect with large amounts of both in each dish. I have ordered their pineapple cheese wontons and they are very tasty, although like most asian restaurants in Denver they need to put more of the filling in them! The Pad Thai I had one time was good, but not the best I’ve had — the sauce is a little different from what I consider a traditional Pad Thai. I live across the street and every time I order it’s ready in about 10 minutes. Obviously, As long as they keep it up, I’ll be ordering again from them in the future.

I don’t know what the good reviews are all about… The food was not good at all, it was pretty gross actually. Low quality, poor ingredients and this place is not so cheap. I could’ve spent $ 12 eating at a wayyyy better restaurant with better quality food. Threw away my money eating here. Never eating here again. Cheap ingredients and gross!

Easily the worst Asian food I’ve had in Denver. My girlfriend and I stopped in to Moon River tonight while waiting for our laundry to finish at the laundromat next door. We’ve eaten here in the past under the same circumstances, while this place was under the previous ownership. The food was mediocre at best in the past, but we figured with new owners we’d give them a shot. Note that the place wasn’t busy. When we walked in there were 4 employees standing in the small entry area, but it took a couple of minutes before we were directed to sit where ever we liked. Our first issue arose when my GF tried to order hot tea. I’m not clear on the exact nature of the problem, but it seems they either had no way to brew the tea, or they didn’t have a pot to bring it to the table. So, she instead ordered an iced tea, and I got a Coke. Our server returned with the tea quickly, but couldn’t remember what I ordered. The tea turned out to be pretty bad, and could have been just dingy water for all we could tell. Eventually we both had our sodas. Moving on to the food… We just wanted to snack while our laundry ran, and ordered a bowl of hot and sour soup, an order of salt and pepper wings, a plate of crab cheese wontons, and some chicken pot stickers. Our server confirmed our order, and that we were only having appetizers. The hot and sour soup arrived immediately, and was just ok. The crab cheese wontons arrived very quickly afterwards, and were disappointing. They needed to have been left in the fryer a little longer, and there were just a couple of tiny specks of crabmeat in them. We had to laugh a little at the«garnish» underneath them though — a messy pile of roughly chopped iceberg lettuce. Also, this food was left without any cutlery or napkins on the table. I’m making a new paragraph here to indicate that the rest of the food showed up as a second course. Perhaps this is also a good time to mention that both of the first items were primarily for my girlfriend, and I was waiting for the rest. Delivery happened about the same time the soup and wontons were finished, and came with cutlery as a bonus. The very first thing I noticed was that the wings were all smaller than my thumb, but that the pot stickers were actually very large, as well as both plates being covered with the aforementioned iceberg mountains. Unfortunately, both dishes ended up only deepening our disappointment. The wings started off tasty, but I ended up with one that smelled and tasted of old fish, and that put me off from the rest of the plate. The pot stickers, though large, were also completely flavorless, and the dipping sauce served with them was thin and far too sweet. Aside from the delivery of our dishes, the server never checked back, and never dropped a check — we had to go to the register and ask to pay.

Food was awesome! Their orange chicken tastes different than I’m used to, but it was a good different. Wontons are delicious not fatty. I love their wontons, first time eating them and I ate an order of eight by myself. The rice is good too! And my delivery came 37 minutes earlier than it was supposed to. Will definitely order again!

I’m assuming this place is new since I saw the grand-opening sign. I ordered through GrubHub and the prices were perfect. Taste is okay if you wanna kick the Chinese-take out craving to the curb! I ordered the lunch drunken noodles and orange chicken(would like to mentioned it had like 2 – 3 big burnt/black peels of orange in it). Drunken noodles were a little bit too oily/greasy and the orange chicken tasted fine enough to satisfy my orange chicken cravings. My stuff was reasonably priced since most places during lunch are usually $ 8.00+ at Chinese places. Will come again and hope that the taste will improve.
