I have eaten at both locations. I love their food. It is clean, healthy, and yummy. Their vegan ramen is delightful, as is their cabbage salad. Portions are big. I love eating here. The vegan ramen and the cabbage salad are my idea of a perfect meal.

Donuts were delicious and the spicy miso ramen was good too. Would like to go back and try other dishes. Service was great!

Live in the neighborhood. Really like their ramen, so have tolerated Osaka’s high prices. Ordered carry out tonight. One veg ramen and one chicken ramen. The veg ramen had chicken in it but no tofu. The chicken ramen had tofu in it but no chicken except for the chicken broth. It’s cold and icy outside. Ordered the chicken ramen for my wife who has a cold. We ate ate it and it was good, but damn, $ 31 for two bowls of soup. Got to get the order right! Update: after sharing my experience via Osaka’s general email address, its Operations Director responded with apologies and two replacement ramen dishes. They got the order right and it was truly excellent. Worth the bit over-market prices.

Great food — had the Chicken Kara Age and Okonomiyaki Fries to start, both interesting twists on American classics. Tonkotsu ramen was on point, would highly recommend. Casual enough to bring our 2 year old, who got down on the chicken bento box and the mochi donuts(get them).

I was so looking forward to trying this place out which I did for the first time yesterday. Sadly to say, was very disappointing :-(overpriced $ 14 for a bowl of shoyu soup. The broth is not as authentic as I expected. I walked out of the place dissatisfied and still hungry. Wait staff was so unfriendly and service was ok. Not the place I would highly recommend.

Upon first walking into the restaurant a overwhelming smell of mothballs hits you… Great way to start a meal, right? The Japanese whiskey we ordered had a familiar taste… I am certain it was Crown. The Bento’s were underwhelming and flavorless. I would HIGHLY recommend not wasting your time or money.

Really good, a little expensive but I’m guessing that’s because ramen is the cool thing now. Low key nice waiting staff, great food.

Let me just first say that they’ve got Godzilla prints on their walls. Cute, chubby Godzilla prints. I had been searching for good ramen in Denver for quite a while when I found this place. Their soup is thick and has this depth to it that makes their ramen so much better than that of many other places around. It’s definitely worth a try — and there is no need to be limited to just ramen, as they also have a number of different bento boxes as well as several other small dishes.

This is a hidden gem in Cherry Creek. The spicy miso and karaage are to die for. Surprisingly, it is not as busy as its RiNo location, but the service is wonderful and there is never a wait for a table.

My friend from Japan and I tried out this place looking for something pretty authentic. We ordered chilled tofu, karaage chicken and spicy miso ramen. The chilled tofu was good, but the karaage chicken and ramen could have been warmer. Also, they put a somewhat strange veggie with our ramen that we didn’t love… Definitely an American twist, but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing! Service was on point though, the waiter especially was so friendly!

I was so excited when I learned Cherry Creek North was getting a ramen shop, especially when that ramen shop was Osaka Ramen! Osaka Ramen received a lot of hype when it was originally opening back in 2014. I finally got a chance to indulge, and was slightly disappointed(despite the hype). My fiancé and I shared the tonkotsu and spicy miso ramen. Both broths were surprisingly thick; I was expecting a more soupy broth. The tonkotsu was a total umami bomb — incredibly rich and savory, almost too much so. The spicy ramen had a creamy broth and deliciously chewy noodles, which was my favorite part. I thought the little meat chunks in the spicy ramen were awkward and a little difficult to eat. Overall, I felt like Osaka Ramen was good, not great. Would I give it another shot? Definitely. While there are so many ramen shops popping up all over Denver, there still isn’t one that truly fills the ramen-sized gap in my heart(belly).

I was really feeling in the mood for ramen, and this place definitely fit the bill. In terms of décor, they had fun yet subtle art such as a giant Godzilla painting. The restaurant had a nice cozy feel but still had adequate seating for several party sizes. The service was friendly, helpful, and prompt. I appreciated how attentive the team was. They had several ramen options, so it was hard to choose. I ended up going with something classic and got the tonkotsu ramen. It was amazing! Aside from adding some sprinkles of shichimi and rayu, I felt really guilty adding anything else as the flavors were perfectly balanced. I even ended up forswearing my Sriracha-loving needs, as the spice really didn’t add anything. The ramen was perfectly cooked. The pork belly was melt-in-your-mouth tender and flavorful. The bamboo, pickled ginger, and seaweed toppings were all just right in terms of texture and flavor. The black garlic oil they used was superb. I’ve definitely had some black garlic oil in the past that was pretty gross, but this added a splendid element of deep, roasted garlic sweetness. What really tied this bowl of ramen together was the awesome broth. I usually don’t drink much of the ramen broth, as it tends to just be wasted sodium, but this broth was like a glorious dawn breaking through storm clouds. The broth was super creamy and rich with a slight sweetness. I wanted the broth to never end! Overall, I was super satisfied with my ramen and can’t wait to come back! Winter is coming, but Osaka Ramen will surely be there to beat back the chill.

I’ve heard great things about this place and was glad that I decided to give it a try! We sat out on the patio which I recommend. Great service and I noticed that they put chili oil as a condiment on the table which I LOVED since I am obsessed with chili oil. We ordered the Tomago Gohan(crispy rice appetizer) to start which was interesting, but good! The rice was definitely crispy and it was topped with spicy kimchi and a poached egg. I ordered the spicy miso ramen for dinner which was SOGOOD! If you like sesame flavor, this is the perfect dish. I threw in a lot of chili oil as well which made it extra hot. The spicy pork was the perfect touch. It was ground spicy pork so you had some in every bite which I like a lot better than having big pork shoulder slices in my ramen. The portions were great as well in my opinion. This place rocked. I will definitely come back!

The thing about ramen in Japan is that there are dozens of variations within each Prefecture and each ramen shop in every city does something different than the one in the next neighborhood. It might be the size of the noodles, the way the flour is milled so the broth coats the noodles just so, or the unctuousness of the broth. After spending months traveling around Japan on my motorcycle, the one consistent is that I could find ramen everywhere and it was as good in Tokyo, Kyoto, Hiroshima, Nagano, or the Ramen Museum in Yokohama. But it varied everywhere, but it was good everywhere too. Osaka Ramen doesn’t disappoint. Just like Japan, Osaka’s ramen is not exactly like Den Deli or Ototo(both closed) or Street Kitchen Bistro(also closed), or the several places in NYC I’ve tried, but it is equally as good. Each chef has their own spin, and from what I’ve tasted,(and I’m a ramen aficionado) Osaka Ramen’s Tonkatsu doesn’t miss the mark, even if it isn’t exactly like the ramen I had at a truck stop between Kyoto and Hiroshima, or in a small village on the island of Shikoku. The one unifying thing is the quality ingredients and care that goes into it. The Kara age and shishito peppers are both fantastic and I need to stop getting those two items so I can try something else. Perhaps tomorrow… I might break down and try the okonimiaki fries, but I’ve resisted because I’d prefer just to have okonimiaki(either the Osaka or Hiroshima versions would be fine).

Im so bummed to write this post because I was really looking forward to trying this place. First off, the ramen was awful. I mean no flavor, weird things in it. Maybe I’m just used to different ramen but I could only take a few bites it was that bad. Also, it is EXPENSIVE for ramen. $ 14 a bowl. I felt totally ripped off after I left this place. Just seriously not good at all…

I was excited that Osaka Ramen opened closer to my hood rather than going to the location downtown. The space is minimal which didn’t bother me at all and my friends and I sat on the patio on a nice evening. I ordered the tonkatsu ramen and was happy with my choice. 3 stars? I thought the portion was a little small for $ 14, I was still hungry after. Other than that the service great and no complaints. I’ll be back, but probably order an appetizer as well.

This place is yummy. And I’m not the biggest fan of ramen noodles but due to friends wanting to go here I went. We came and got seated right away. No wait and food came out fast.

Friendly staff. Location is easy to find. Inside is very clean. We ordered spicy miso ramen and tonkatsu ramen. They both were flavorful and not too salty like many other places. I wouldn’t say wow this is the best ramen but it’s good. It’s a bit pricey, $ 14 per bowl but I guess that’s the going rate for most Ramen places. I’ll give it another try if I am in the area.

This is such a modern and chic place that opened recently in the Cherry Creek area. If you enjoy Japanese ramen, definitely check this place out. I thought the presentation of the ramen was beautiful. I ordered the spicy miso which is my go to ramen at most places. It wasn’t all that spicy but if you add the chili oil(la-yu), it definitely adds a nice kick to the broth. The portion is very good as I was super full after finishing the bowl. The taste was pretty average, however. But It’s definitely one of the better ramen places I have tried in Denver. Now, what really captured my attention were the appetizers. My group of friends and I ordered the karage and the okonomiyaki fries. The karage could have been crispier but they came in huge pieces and I really liked the dipping sauce. The okonomiyaki fries were DELICIOUS! Fries covered with sauce topped with seasoning. Definitely better than any normal fries I’ve had. The staff was very attentive as well and kindly split the check for our big group. I will definitely come back here!

My boyfriend and I have been wanting to check this place out so we were thrilled that they had a new location nearer to us! I know it’s sweltering hot right now since its summer, but once you get a ramen craving, you just gotta have it! Osaka’s is nicely decorated and very clean. The staff is accommodating and are happy to help and suggest food. My friends and I shared their chicken kage age and the okonomiyaki fries. The chicken hands down was great! Nice crunch and not too oily with great flavor. The fries were delicious as well. The bonito flakes mesmerized us. They were eccentric and amusing haha. I got the shoyu ramen. The noodles are actually really good. They’re chewy and cooked well and the broth was flavorful and not too salty(a usual fear I have when ordering this type of ramen). Everyone seemed to enjoy their own choices of ramen. Overall we were very satisfied! Will definitely come back for their dessert! Heard the donuts were bomb!
