So apparently it’s not okay to display same sex valentine’s day cards next to the juvenile valentine’s days card’s at this location. …hum don’t same sex families have children too? #Lame

Pretty cards but horrible customer service. I bought a bunch of holiday cards when they went on sale after Christmas and within a week, I noticed the sale had gone up to 70% off. I asked if I can get a price adjustment since it was within a week and I had bought a bunch of stuff. The girl on the counter tells me that they don’t do price adjustments as company policy(which is crappy but I guess it is what it is). Then she adds in a snooty tone«You know… that’s how sales work. They keep dropping in price». Yes, I know that’s how sales work. I also know that any decent company who gives a damn about their clients do price adjustments within a week of purchase. Just can’t justify buying my overpriced cards served with a side of attitude.

The manager dealt with the issue quickly and professionally. I was really impressed with his response my concerns.

Went to this store to get a Mother’s Day Frame. The girl charged me $ 24.49 for it. I payed in cash and she said: «your receipt is in the bag». Got home and later on I looked at the receipt. It says $ 21.49. Really!!! Went back the next day to complain about it and she said: «I am sorry I can’t do anything about it since you paid cash. Next time make sure you check everything in the store». I guess I have to check everything at this store because this has never happened to me before. No need to say I will never go back to that store.

I’ve walked in this store several times. And there’s always a similar outcome. There’s a woman on a ladder doing some display right in the front. Another woman behind the counter. I walk in and no one says hello. Which is fine, I don’t have to be greeted right away. But this woman walks in right after me and both women are kissing her feet asking how they can help and complimenting everything this woman has on. Yet, both are continuing to walk right by me. I don’t need or want anyone to kiss my ass, but I simple acknowledgement of every customer in your small ass store isn’t that hard. I’ll buy my over priced greeting cards elsewhere.

Papyrus is dangerous for my wallet. Every time I come here I have to check myself to make sure I’m only purchasing what I went in looking to purchase and nothing more. Card galore, kid birthday cards, thank you cards, sympathy cards, any kind of card you could ever want can be found here. I also have found some of the best wrapping paper here. It’s high quality, well priced, and the talk of any occasion. The small gifts around the store are adorable and are a lot of fun to look at. A word of advice, watch out for the prices on the cards, some of them can get as high as $ 20 per card. If I need a card or some fun wrapping paper, Papyrus is always at the top of my list.

I was here soon after Christmas and picked up a bunch of gift tags at 70 percent off. They are nice, sparkly tags made of a heavy paper as well as mini cards with double sided tape on the back — I love my paper goods. There were also some super cute owl mugs and mini games that are great stocking stuffers for next year — yes I do save it all for next year. One annoyance was when the gal at the register told me she did not believe the games were on the 70 percent off table — it was just her attitude that I did not appreciate as it felt accusatory but whatever I got some cute stuff for cheap. I went back the beginning of this month and picked up 5 cards for $ 5 off their clearance table in the back — some kick ass cards such as a singing mustache and cat’s rocking out to «Lick it Up» by KISS! Bonus: The gentleman helping us incredibly friendly and helpful redeeming the unpleasantness of the last visit. The stationary here is beautiful as is the thick, colorful wrapping paper — you do pay for it but it is worth it.

Stopped in here for a quick card and looking for a little and inexpensive gift box. The guy that helped me was over the top friendly(in a good way) and helped me beyond what he needed to. He was so great I would totally go back based on just that experience. Thank you for making my day, oh and for gift wrapping a present that made everyone gasp.

I tried to return some Christmas gifts and they would not take anything back without a receipt. The other thing was if my items were ever on sale they would never take them back. This store needs to step into the future, even Kohls takes everything back and at least gives you store credit, Apple will take anything back that is theirs, even if it is opened. I will never shop at this store ever again nor will any of my friends!

I love cards and stationary and Papyrus definitely has a unique collection. I’ve shopped at Papyrus for years. I typically go when I’m looking for a special card, something more than your grocery store variety. I’ve always liked the store, but my past visit made me say«wow». One of my aunt’s will be celebrating her 80th birthday. I wanted to get her some personalized stationary but I thought about it too late — or so I thought! When I went to Papyrus to get her a card, I got to talking with the sales woman and she informed me that they personalize on site and could have it done in one day! Well one day turned into a half hour! So again, I say«wow». The cards I purchased had four different colors in the box. I wanted a different color print on each color card — no problem, no extra cost — «wow». The cost for the personalization was just $ 10. You pay for your cards, or stationary, and whether there are four or forty, it’s just $ 10 extra. I’m so excited to give my aunt her very special gift, thanks to Papyrus.

Whoa, do I love stationary. And I enjoy the service I’ve gotten here. They have been running respectable deals this year: Buy 5 cards, get one free with free registration to their insider club(or whatever). Or, right now it is Holiday Cards: buy two boxes, get one free. In addition to the deals, I respect the fact that the employees have the ability to make decisions on behalf of their customers. Th-an-k you!

If you find yourself writing a lot of letters or thank you cards, you may want to stop in here for some fancy paper. When’s the last time you wrote a letter to someone instead of emailing/texting them? You could even write a letter to a fellow Unilocaler, if you want to. No, you’re not getting my address. The staff is helpful if you can’t find what you’re looking for. I didn’t need any cards when I stopped in, but I wanted to see if there were any cheap cards I could stock up on. Didn’t buy anything, but I did see a beautiful stationary set with peacock feathers on it that I liked(if you knew me, you’d know why I like peacocks). Only buy these cards if you intend to write something special in it that makes the other person want to keep the card for a long time. I hate getting a card from someone, and all they do is sign their name on the inside. Makes me want to throw the card away. No matter how expensive the card may have been. And these cards are pricier than the mundane cards you buy at the grocery store, but Papyrus cards are far superior in worth. Pretty cards, helpful staff, a bit pricey(get over it). Quality.
