Pick A Color Painting Services

Walk, no run, away from this company. I am absolutely shocked to see even one 5-​star review. My experience with Manuel and Pick A Color was much like Lorenzo’s (please read his review as well). They completely botched the paint job on our house. We gave them several chances to correct their mistakes and Manuel was a smooth talker, but did not deliver on any of his promises. They painted all of our windows and garage door shut (they were all previously working) and failed to fix this after weeks of us begging to get our windows working again. They missed painting entire sections of our house, they did not do the proper prep work, they painted areas that should not have been painted, and the work that was done was sloppy and peeling within days (due to lack of proper prep). Perhaps most frustrating of all, they did not take proper precautions in the handling or cleaning up of the old, lead-​based paint. We are not only out several thousand dollars to Manuel, but we now have to pay a lead remediation company to do the proper clean up of our property and a new painting company to completely prep and repaint our house. Don’t let Manuel’s smooth talking fool you!

Our experience with Pick A Color Painting Services was absolutely wonderful. Manuel was super responsive and kept us in the loop on everything he did. He and his team did a great job painting our walls and trim. They paid close attention to detail and the final result looks amazing.

We had a tight timeline for painting our basement, and Manuel and his team were able to work over the weekend to get everything done in time. He also did our trim and doors, and did a great job with everything. His pricing was much more reasonable than other quotes we got.

I was very satisfied with the job that Manuel and his team did in painting the exterior of our house. The house was washed and caulked with good quality caulking. He and his team hand painted the entire house using brush and roller with quality paint.
