I do not recommend this place.
I purchased an iPhone cable from Gavin and he convinced me to pop for the extended warranty. That was my first mistake but I’ve seen many an iPhone cable fail so I thought it was a good idea.
My cable began to separate right below the connector so I brought it in for replacement. Gavin was there to help me but said my cable would not be covered under warranty? He said the warranty only covers damage from normal wear and tear? If any of you, out there own an Apple iPhone cable you know that they all seem to separate below the connector and is absolutely a result of normal wear and tear!
Don’t waste your money in this store and definitely don’t waste your money on an extended warranty. Gavin was very rude and my days of patronizing Radio Shack are OVER.
If you want Apple accesories, go, to the Apple store!
I did after I left Radio Shack and they replaced my cable, no questions asked!

Great little store, and solid service — I personally did not feel the need to patronize the employees by talking about comic books or Azeroth.
I just needed a new remote control. I was greeted immediately upon entering, brought right to what I needed, and given a brief explanation of the options. I chose one, paid, and left.
Will definitely be back next time I need some crazy adapter or cord — that crazy stuff that no one BUT Radio Shack seems to carry.

A nice place for those wild and weird electronic needs. If you need a cable, they probably have it in stock. The price is sometimes pretty stiff, but they have it there, and will guide you to it quickly.
The staff are friendly and will help you out with finding just what you really needed. They steered me away from a cable that I thought would work, they had already tested it and knew it wouldn’t work. This was a specifically good thing since I needed the cable to function then, I would have no chance to return it when it wouldn’t have worked.
Good advice that saved me much aggravation.

Sometimes you just need some wacky connector that is just a little less popular than the other ones. Whenever I go to Radio Shack, I need something specific, small and immediately.
Since I’m usually frantic when I get there needing the part before I started the silly project (I’m not the best planner sometimes), I don’t want to browse and just want to be pointed to were my part lies. To get the best service, name drop some comic books, graphic novels or film adaptations of the same. You’ll get the best service if you fly your geek flag.
