I liked Dr Edelman but everything that goes with him is awful. I had my appt last October just got my bill. I had a follow up appt with his office and had a family emergency. I totally forgot to call and cancel then the day before I remembered but was on the east coast and they were closed when I called. Later I was busy thinking they would call and remind me and that I would just tell them then. Never got a phone call and I forgot to call then got charged 50 for a no show. When I explained that to their billing service who is hard to get a hold of. They didn’t care. I’d never go back.

I had an ingrown toe nail, which my mother had (and I understand this can be a hereditary condition). I went to see Dr. Edelman at the suggestion of my primary care doctor. His staff were friendly and professional, as was he. I explained the problem and he explained a solution that he had used before, which is to cut out a portion of the toe nail, and put acid on the root to kill it. Then it is the patient’s responsibility to soak the toe in Epson salts twice a day, and reapply the bandage using an iodine-​style disinfectant. I followed the instructions religiously, and the wound healed.
The problem is, the nail has completely grown back. And, I feel «twinges» of discomfort from time to time. In answer to a question I had asked during the original consultation, he said the procedure works on «most» people.
Again, the operating procedure itself was fine, no issues. But for anybody with an ingrown toe nail, just know that this isn’t fool-​proof.

Dr. Edelman is my podiatrist. I recently began experiencing some feet issues and I asked my primary care physician to recommend a podiatrist. What’s funny is that there is a podiatrist a stone’s throw from my Dr.‘s office that I have passed many, many times, as I have gone to the same doctor for over 10 years. Yeah, sometimes I’m just that observant. LOL
Anyhow, since then, I have been to see Dr. Edelman a few times and each time I call to make an appointment, the staff is quite friendly. This is a small office, so you see the same faces every time and there is usually flexibility in appointments, so there isn’t a long wait to see the Doctor and to make appointments. I’ve been pretty pleased and will definitely recommend.
