Sandra did such an amazing job with my highlights and cut. She really listened to what I wanted. I am getting compliments right and left! I will most definitely be back.

I am extremely picky when it comes to cutting and coloring my hair. I met Lacey (Salon 29 owner) at an event last week and I decided to give her salon a try.
My initial impression when I arrived was the atmosphere… Trendy décor and great artwork! Immediately, I felt comfortable and happy!
My appointment was with Lacey and although It’s always a little nerve racking to entrust your hair to someone new, we discussed my hair and my cut /​color goals Then I let her work!
I am SO impressed! Lacey truly knows her craft and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Lacey was friendly, focused and extremely professional.
My hair looks and feels amazing! I will definitely be going back!

Had my haircut with Lacey a few days ago and absolutely loved my haircut! I have had bangs on and off for about 2 years, and these bangs she cut are my favorite. Lacey listened and understood exactly what I wanted, and made suggestions of her own. I had bought a living social deal for a $ 29 haircut and deep conditioning treatment. I was a little worried buying a coupon deal for something so personal but the Unilocal reviews for the salon were great so I figured I’d give it a try cause I can’t afford to splurge right now. She actually offers a $ 29 haircut for new clients anyway, which made me feel better about the deal, haha. The deep conditioning treatment was a nice bonus, my hair feels silky soft and smelled great. I would definitely go back to Lacey!

I followed Rebecca McRory from Salon Denver to Salon 29 and I highly recommend her.
First let me say that I love Salon 29 as everyone is friendly and laid-​back. I love the online reservation system as an option as well, even though I opt to make my appointments at each visit. Another plus — different art on the walls every month!
I do not have enough praise for Rebecca and she must do the best hair color in town. There is not a week that goes by without a compliment on my hair color for the past 6 years — no exaggeration. I trust her completely to make good decisions about color changes.
My cut is perfect as well. The first thing Rebecca did when I visited her was to teach me the ways of the boar’s hair brush and now my hair is easily styled every morning but everyone thinks that I put a lot of effort into it!

I went in to Salon 29 on the recommendation of a friend. I wish I had asked who had cut her hair. I ended up making an appointment with Lacey. I walked in and saw that she was putting foils in another customers hair. I was fine with waiting. Fifteen minutes after my appointment time she called me over. Not a big deal.
However, when she instructed me to sit in the shampoo chair, she kept going on about how disgusting the shampoo sink looked. I had my back to it and her and her comments did not make me feel very comfortable.
She then whipped through my haircut, it probably took 10 minutes. She took 4 phone calls while cutting my hair. Lacey also talked on the phone while she cut my hair. What is that?!?
Lacey was dismissive of my hair questions during the cut and while combing my hair out for each cut, repeatedly whipped me in the face with my own hair. She was more interested in visiting with the other customers and her coworkers than making conversation with me.
She had a coworker ring up my transaction as she immediately went to work on the previous customer; in the same sink she kept referring to as disgusting and nasty. She then ran over as I was almost done paying and said, «If you get me more customers, I will get you discounts.» She then shoved several business cards into my hand.
I really wanted to like this place; its within walking distance and I love to support independent, local businesses. However, I doubt I will be going back. I just can’t believe that she shampooed, cut and blow dried my long hair (3inches past shoulders) in under 30 minutes. A blow dry alone for my hair could take that long.

this is long overdue, but Kenley cut my hair last year and i have never had so many darn compliments on a hairstyle. he was very patient, and very good at coming up with an awesome «look». the place is really nice and beautiful. and Kenley cuts the best bangs! i moved far from that area earlier this year or i would visit more.

Absolutely love Kenley… perfect hair-​cut… going back in a few days for highlights! Okay, since been back. Kenley did a fantastic job on my highlights too… ready to head for the Florida Scuba Dive this week!!!

I’ve never been so happy with a salon and am SO glad I found Salon 29. I got a great deal on a cut, deep condition, and highlights. The atmosphere is great, the people are personable and really know what they’re doing. The sign of a good stylist, in my opinion, is when they can take one look at you and know just what hairstyle will look good.

I’ve been seeing Kenley now for about a year. I came in orginally with a Bloomspot deal. The service is great. Everyone is really friendly and the glass of wine they offer up doesn’t hurt. :)
Kenley always does a great job and offers great suggestions. Love getting Keritan treatments with him!

I cannot sing the praises of my favorite salon enough! I will boldly say that I will never let anyone but Kenley touch my hair ever again. He cuts, colors, and styles my hair better than anyone I’ve been to and every time I schedule an appointment I feel like I’m visiting an old friend. He is professional and comfortable at the same time and although Lacey has never cut my hair she is just as welcoming.
From brunette to blond, sleek blow drys to soft curls, highlights to lowlights… I have never been disappointed.
They are a dynamic duo and I am seriously considering starting a fan club :)

LOVE this salon, the energy is great, the people are nice and the hair cuts are nothing short of amazing! I will always come here as long as I am in Denver! And they are reasonably priced as well!!!

Well I recently moved to Denver. I have been putting off a haircut not really knowing where to go. Today I finally broke down and went on Unilocal to find a place. Salon 29 is super close to my place and they had a 29.00 special for first time customers.
Kenley cut my hair and he did an awesome job. We talked about style and we decided on longer cut and some shorter face framing pieces. The cut came out awesome, he really got my miniumlist style. He even gave me a coupon for next time for free haircut with purchase of highlights. A++

Let me start with the good… Jaclyn (waxing spcialist) is very personable and did a great job keeping me occupied for what is not a very fun ordeal :)
First, both times I called to make an appointment (once for initial and second to finish the original job) they told me the first available appointment was 3 or more weeks out. Both times I walked in, there was not a soul in sight. Just didn’t feel like that could be the truth…
Second, the fact that I did have to go back 2 times to get the job done. No one wants to go through that 2 times in 3 days.
I got a great deal via living social and their normal prices are good, but given the choice I will find a new place for this service.

I seriously love this salon. It’s so hard to find someone I can trust touching this luxurious locks, but Kenley is my man!
Whether I know exactly what I want or need a little guidance, I always leave looking amazing. Everyone compliments my hair and everyone I have sent to Kenley has left happy!
The clean store, welcoming environment and overall wonderful staff has made this salon one that I can confidently recommend to other people. It does hurt knowing that when you leave you’ll look fantastic…

Friendly, talented staff. Small but mighty, this is a great local salon. I’ll be back! Did a great job with my fine, wavy /​curly hair. A hidden gem for sure. Not ultra sexy or flashy but has a great local, community feel, which is nice.

Since hair modeling (and crying every time I left the chair) I’ve only entrusted two ladies to bring snippers close to my locks and I’m happy to announce that I now have a holy trinity of salonistas. Kenley, sass-​tastic and seriously talented with scissors, just did me right and not only listened to my request (to stay as long and simple as possible) but treated me to my choice of hot cocoa or merlot.
I felt so ridiculous only paying $ 29 for one of the best hair cut experiences of my life that I’m still pinching myself. Kenley certainly knows his way around a salon stool and I would recommend him to anyone who wants good hair for all season and occasions, no muss and no fuss! My hair has sex appeal blow dryer or not, who knew?

I’ve been going to Misty for a while now and absolutely love her! My hair always looks amazing. Everyone at Salon 29 is extremely talented. I’d highly recommend this salon to anyone!!! :)

I’ve been getting my hair done by Lacey now for a while, and I absolutely love her. When she opened up her own salon recently, I was definitely going to follow. Nobody can make my hair look the way she can. I have a lot of hair, and most people find it nearly impossible to deal with. After she’s done with it, it looks perfect.
The location is pretty easy to find, it’s right on the corner. The salon is small, but very quaint and well decorated. Good atmosphere.
Like I said though, I highly, highly recommend Lacey. She is by far the best hairstylist in town.
