Visited here four times because it was a convenient meeting place for hotel guests, and three times were awful. (The fourth was just brief.). Service is indifferent at best, hostile at worst, and unbelievably slow on a consistent basis. You may wonder if the bar is a front for some other enterprise because they seem complete disinterested in selling drinks. Meet across the street at Stout Street Social instead.

I only stopped by for a drink after a conference at the main center. The service was great considering the place was swamped. Our service was nice and quick.

Ok food and beer selection marred by terrible service. Prepare to be ignored and treated rudely when you (or if) you are finally helped. They clearly have a captive audience of hotel guests and no incentive to perform.

I sat at the bar around 730pm on 7⁄4 and was one of three other customers. The bartender was talking to one set of customers, though it didn’t appear to be an actual order. A nearby server apologized and said that someone would be with me soon. The bartender continued to chat with the other customers, then proceeded to chat with another employee. He then went in back. At no point was I ever greeted. I left and went the the bar across the street. What makes it worse is that I was a guest at the hotel.

The Strata Bar is located near the lobby of the Hyatt Hotel. One might think that because it’s in the Hyatt, it would be very over priced. Good news… it is not! It is a great meeting place for business or pleasure. This is my third time to visit the Strata and the service is always good. They have an outstanding selection of drinks and offer food as well. I can’t comment on the food because we just had cocktails, but the food I did see looked good. If you are in the area, give it a try. I believe you will enjoy the ambiance and experience.

Didn’t eat, just drank, but I enjoyed my time here. Service is decent. I didn’t realize the bar would become a public place after midnight and if we still had a drink in hand would be fined $ 200 by the po po. Weird, but got us to bed early enough for the convention the next morning.

Kristen is a fantastic waitress in this bar high above the city — great views with a Navan on ice.

Located on the lobby floor of the Hyatt Regency. A good meeting place before going out on the town or just to meet others in your group after checking in. Also, if you are attending an event at the Denver Convention Center, the Strata is next door and you can’t miss it.
The bar has a good selection of spirits and beer. The staff was friendly and the service was great. For those staying connected via internet, you can access the Hyatt’s free WiFi here. The night I was in town, there were a lot of people drinking and socializing.

OK, so we got back to our hotel and felt like it was too early to end the night. Thank goodness for hotel bars!

Yum!
First off, I was worried that this bar (being in a Hyatt) was going to be overpriced — but it so wasn’t! The drinks were completely reasonable (compared to other bars). There were even Happy Hour deals to be had. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere wasn’t loud or smokey — instead it was a pleasant after work experience.
In addition to our drinks, we shared a plate of nachos — OH BABY! The guac was so yummy and the entire plate filled up 4 of us. You must make sure to order this app.
If I lived in the area I would return — but since I don’t I’ll have to file it away as worth another visit when I’m in Denver again.
