Best Chinese food I’ve had! Trust me I’ve had lots, but this place is truly one of a kind, the service was amazing. Did the dinner special and had soup within 5 minutes of sitting down, followed by the poo poo platter, and even entre came out almost as we were finishing. Food and prices amazing.

Been here a few times, consistently some of the best Chinese food I’ve had. The menu is good and varied, with generous portions of the usual standbys(General Tso, Orange, Sesame, etc.) all done very well, and some things you don’t see on every menu(Hot Spicy Chicken, Pork with Hot Garlic Sauce) that are definitely worth trying. Also, the House Wonton Soup is fantastic. The service is friendly, and the takeout is really quick. Can’t complain about the prices either!

Order the dumplings and hot and sour soup! Food was amazing and if you like it spicy, they bring it.

Great lunch portions and price. Had the sesame chicken today and it was fresh and tasted great. Highly recommend Szechuan Restaurant.

Hot and sour soup is cheap and delicious. The entrées, while being pricey, come with mountains of good food. Leave with a box every time.

Disgusting! I had to leave due to the fact that there was a cockroach crawling against the wall next to me. It disgusted me a lot and they had just brought my food. I told a waiter and he said because it was cold outside, then he called a manager and she just said ok but she tried to whisper it to me and she told me it’s ok to cancel… I felt bad making a big deal and getting everyone unconftrable at their dinner. I’m sorry but as long as you like cockroaches then this is for you

My family and I have been coming here for years. It is really great Chinese food. It’s the only place we go. The only complaint I have is that recently when we order the food to-go; the portions seem to be much smaller than what they were in the past. I’m not sure if this is intentional or not — but definitely noticeable. I would expect to get the same portion when I take the food out as I get when I eat in the restaurant.

I live down the street from here. Great Chinese food. Always busy every day of the week. My friend drives from aurora just to come eat with me sometimes

This is one of the few places that have scallion pancakes. An order comes with three for about $ 5. The only thing about it is its deep fried so you can taste the grease, which is a little different from the scallion pancakes I’ve had which are pan fried. But I appreciate that they have it here.

The only thing that bothers me about this place are the staff. they seem to be so dull with their job :), despite of that, its still one of my favorite Chinese restaurant.

Best Chinese in Denver! My wife and I often order one of there dinner specials to go with soup and the pupu platter; it is more than enough for two. We usually use this for take out and it’s always ready and waiting on us. It is definitely our favorite Chinese in the area, we’ve never had a negative experience!

I was jonesing for Chinese, so I took some friendly advice to try this place out. I used to order out from here frequently 15 years ago, and my work has put me back in its sphere. I brought my daughters with me. We loved the service, dumplings and the hot tea. Everything else was not impressive, sorry to say. I may have made a mistake by ordering the duck… it was like fried chicken style and just not what I expected. It may be that I don’t like Chinese food anymore, or that Lakewood is not the place to find it? This place has been open a long time and my guess is if you have a Chinese cuisine dish you like, I bet they will deliver… just don’t get the duck, it’s lame!

Wow! The portions here are giant! The combination fried rice was one of the best! Service was great. Friendly and polite. No stir fried green beans though :(This business has a strange location similar to a place under the bridge. Almost suspect. They also serve cocktails and that in itself is unique. I was almost afraid to get out of the car. But it is not suspect and they serve cocktails because they can. So why not?

My husband and I found this place where we visited Red Rocks in July. We were impressed with the flavor of the food! I wish we had this good of typical Chinese food back here in Upstate NY! Being able to eat in was a plus, and probably contributes to the quality of the food(take out containers and travel time degrade the food, IMHO). Hopefully we will have an opportunity to return to the Denver area soon and enjoy a meal at this wonderful Chinese restaurant.

We were really looking forward to eating here — after a day of house hunting and being let down, nothing was going to satisfy our needs more than sesame tofu. Unfortunately, the other reviews neglected to mention how sickly sweet this was. I’m talking spoon-stuck-to-the-plate sugary. Came with a maraschino cherry on the plate — should have been a giveaway. It was packed, though, and the service was so great, three stars worth. The tables come with tea, which my wife really enjoyed. Unfortunately for us we won’t be back for the tofu. I’d be interested in getting a noodle dish, though!

Did I order for a family!!! However, even the quality pairs up to the quantity you will get. The General Tso and pan fried noodle dishes were some of the best I have had with certainly an attention to those savory chinese flavors we crave. Even during off peak times this place gets crowded so be prepared.

Ambience: 5 star Lights not too bright, soft easy glow over each table or booth There was no overbearing music, but lots people having their own private conversations. Energy was calm n relaxing. Comfortable like home Service:5 We walked in to meet taker outters eagerly waiting Warm welcoming smiles at the register Waitress– who we have had many times before. Absolutely the friendliest woman I’ve met. Very much motherly and made us feel like we were at families home. Food:5 Now this is coming from me who absolutely dislikes your«typical» Chinese restaurant… Appetizer– plump huge pan fried dumplings with sauce that wasn’t too sweet and wasn’t too salty Our entrees– beef with hot garlic sauce Sauce so delicious the meat perfectly cooked not a second over cooked. Now my man pushed over the mushrooms(he doesn’t like) and added this would be perfect with broccoli and carrots for more crunch of course I said gimme some more heat! Next Old Sesame Chicken– which was freshly cooked. The coating of the chicken was just Caramelized golden… Perfect Now you could definitely share one plate we have a ton left over and honestly cheaper than ALOT of places! My favorite: hot n sour soup and the complimentary hot tea. This truly deserves a line out the door but love the best kept secret tucked away!

My SIL brought me here for a quick bite while out getting last minute Christmas gifts. In what looks like a slightly dodgy strip mall next to a liquor store, I was wondering what we might be in for. What we got was a wonderful lunch! This was some of the best Hot and Sour soup I have ever had. The heat and the flavor were perfect compliments of one another. For my entrée, I had the Kung Pao Triple Delight, which was also absolutely delicious. The sauce was perfect — a little heat and a lot of flavor. The service was terrific as well, attentive but not intrusive. This place is worth the trip!

Never a disappointment. The food is above average. I have coming here for years and there is a noticeable drop off in service. The newer staff are not as friendly and may be spread too thin. I’ll be a regular, I just hope the staff gets better!

We always order from here for our work party in celebration of Chinese New Year, and they always get our orders correct! I like that their food taste the same dine in or take out. Believe me I’ve been to my share of Chinese buffet restaurants where the dine in was fine but the take out tasted like left over from the previous night! I recommend Szechuan’s pot stickers as they’re huge and meaty, with thick skins, everything that reminds me of the northern Chinese style, and the dipping sauce is delicious too. I also tell my American friends to try the Scallion Pancakes and so far, everybody raved about it! Lastly, this may or may not be on the menu but if you like curry and you like tofu, by all means, ask for their Curry Tofu! I think it’s more yummy than the other tofu dishes with meat. The staff is «hen ke qi», meaning very polite. Most of them are bilingual, they smile, and they offered to take my boxes of take out food out to my car for me. Kind of sweet don’t you think?
