This is one of my favorite places in Denver. The bagel sandwiches are excellent, and there are yummy baked goods for dessert. Today I had a lox bagel, coffee, and a slice of chocolate banana cake for lunch. I highly recommend Crumb Café!

We were biking by and after ordering a hot chocolate to warm up, I realized that I forgot to bring my wallet. They were incredibly friendly told us to not worry. This place an awesome neighborhood breakfast spot!

Had breakfast there today and it was horrible– eggs in burrito were dry and crumbly, no chorizo in burrito even though we ordered it. Burrito was stone cold as well. Egg sandwich wife had looked like it was made on wonderbread. $ 28 I will never get back, very disappointing as I like to frequent places close to home if I can. I would give it no stars if that were possible.

Thanksgiving Pie disaster! I ordered A «Dutch Crumb Apple pie for my thanksgiving dinner, after being assured that the $ 19.00 pie would be delicious and wonderful … INFACT the pie was a a terrible creation with a crust that was a ¼ inch thick and required a serrated bread knife to slice; the filling was a unripe, under flavored thin layer of unripe/under cooked apples. The lower crust was almost raw and tough. I do not understand how any pie foisted on a unsuspecting customer could sell this disaster of a pie as «GOURMET» as even a Mrs. Smiths or Sara Lee would be a a hands down winner and preferential to this piece of detritus. I am returning this disaster today and WARN any of their customers to NOTTRUSTTHESE Thieves!

Service was very nice. However, the food was not so great. I ordered a naked breakfast burrito and the hash-browns were crispy and dry. The eggs were cut into cube shapes I didn’t have the heart to send it back because the girls working there were genuinely sweet. Unfortunately, I will not go back. The food is mostly pre-packaged and even the macaroons are bought from Sam’s. Weird? I thought so too. Probably great just for a quick coffee and that’s it. Also, don’t order the ginger tea. So bitter and I even followed the instructions to steep no longer than 3 minutes. Service gets 4 stars, food gets 2 so I had to give this place a 3.

I wish Crumb the best of luck — I know the former business(that was very similar in nature) tanked badly. I love their coffee and the service is generally great, but as someone who lives right by Crumb I’ve never had anything on their breakfast menu that I wanted to have again. They have all the guts of a potentially awesome breakfast café but there isn’t anything must-have if you are looking for savory. The pastries I’ve tried had been pretty epic.

I have the same issue with The Crumb as I do their parent bakery, Cake Crumbs — their selection of cupcakes. Just boring. And it seems every time I go in, they are out of even their boring flavors. That’s pretty much the only thing I go in for – cupcakes. So if they don’t have any, I leave. I just wish they would get more creative, and perhaps plan better.

I love that we can walk our dog to Crumb Café and have breakfast with her on the patio. I also love that I can drive there and easily park in the lot behind the building, if not on the street out front. The owners have done a very nice remodel of the space since taking it over from the former tenant. Reclaimed wood is featured throughout and they have added a colorful and cozy banquette seat in one corner. The breakfast menu consists of sandwiches, bagels, frittata, and burritos. You can get a sandwich on regular bread, a bagel or a croissant. We’re not overly fond of the egg dishes. They’re cooked in a ramekin(or something similar) and are too done for our liking. I once got a burrito bowl and it had that same overcooked egg and not enough green chile. So, I stick with the lox and everything bagel. The bagel is always light and slightly crispy on the outside, yet soft and chewy on the inside. I really do need to try a croissant sandwich sometime but that everything bagel is always calling my name. I like to wash my breakfast down with a Bhakti chai, either hot or iced. Mr. P likes the Novo coffee latte. If you’re in the mood for a sweet treat(let’s face it, who isn’t?), you’ll have lots to choose from at Crumb Café. There’s always a good selection of freshly made cupcakes, cookies, brownies, lemon squares, and on and on. And beautiful, delicious cakes you can get by the slice or order whole. There’s always something new to try. Today I even noticed gluten-free chocolate chip banana bread. You can also get day old bagels and pastries for a bargain price. The lunch menu features a good selection of salads and sandwiches and some grab and go items if you’re in a hurry. I haven’t gotten around to trying any of the lunch fare yet but I’m sure that will happen one day. Don’t forget to ask for a punch card so you can get discounted yummies.

The croissant sandwich is truly 5 stars. Eggs perfect, delicious croissant, hot and fluffy. Haven’t tried anything else but can say without a doubt this is the best croissant breakfast Sammy I’ve ever had. Going to take some pastries home too

I’m definitely a fan of The Crumb Café! I have always loved Cake Crumbs, so to see a new version of them opening near my house made me happy, but also fearful for my waistline and pocketbook! LOL I stopped in one afternoon shortly after they opened to check out the cupcake situation. Cupcakes are my weakness. They had a few left, as well as some of their beautiful and swoon-worthy cakes. I noticed that they served coffee(Novo) and tea, as well as breakfast/lunch menu. On my second visit, I stopped in before work and saw they had day-old cupcakes(4 for $ 5), but I managed to not buy them. I did purchase a breakfast sandwich, which was packaged nicely to go, along with lettuce, tomato and other condiments. I also got a latte to go. Novo beans are m favorite, so I was happy. Since I couldn’t resist, I picked up a pastry for later in the day. There is free Wi-Fi at the café and lots of seating. I am already a fan and wish them success. I’ll be back!

Decent café menu. A few salads, sandwiches, and soups along with the delicious bakery items. Full coffee set up. I had the tuna sandwich on a croissant which was good. Nothing fancy but still good. You get to pick a side so I had fruit. I also added a mini cup cake. The mini was chocolate cupcake with chocolate frosting and it was a little dry. Not sure if they were fresh. A few options for the kiddos too which was nice. Atmosphere is nice. Great location. We were very crowded by an abundance of chairs by our table. We had to keep moving them around to get in and out of our table. We weren’t sure what to do with our dishes when were done. We left them on the table but not sure if that was correct protocol. I’m sure I’ll be back as I work down the street and it is a great alternative to a burger next door.

They offer a variety of breakfast items, sandwiches, salads, soups, coffees, smoothies and of course delicious baked goods. Cakes, cookies and cupcakes. Reuben melts in your mouth. Sandwiches a little on the small side.

Went to find High Point Creamery and ended up having lunch at the Crumb Café. Chicken Salad on Croissant was delish. Had poppyseeds, craisins, red onion, pecans, lots of chicken with tomato slices and lettuce. You can choose a side and I went with fresh fruit which can sometimes be a disappointment, but I was delighted to find pieces of fresh pineapple, apples, red grapes, oranges, strawberries. A great compliment to the sandwich. Too full to try their sweets, but there will be a next time.

Great addition to the neighborhood. Everything from coffee and smoothies to breakfast sandwiches, lunch options and sweet treats. We ordered a smoothie and they gave us a separate cup with the ‘extra’ that didn’t fit into the normal size cup as a bonus.
