We were there last weekend and they did over charged us on the drinks. Definitely not going back there.

Wow… the bartender here clearly was having a bad night. AFTER leaving him a really good tip, I asked him about who was DJing and if we could request music. He got defensive, and after two times trying to get his attention, stated he was controlling the music and «everyone is having fun, why are you even asking for other music?.» After he realized I was on the phone, and possibly writing this review, came over to say it was «old school rap night» and he was sorry he didn’t let me talk (and then walked away after AGAIN not letting me even get a word in). Funny, I was asking for some rap music, just an «old school» Kayne West song. Has anyone ever heard Diamonds Are Forever? Lucky I don’t live her… #chitownrepresent.

This place has an awesome atmosphere if you like narrow bars with loud rap music, which, I DO! Danny, the bartender, is Down to Earth and makes it a priority to serve you exactly what you like! Love the music, the infused vodka, and the crowd. Depending on the day, the busy times will fluctuate… but the place is only so big, so keep that in mind! The Drink is neighbor to Tryst and LaMark. I personally love floating through the three to change up vibes quickly and effectively… Give it a try! It’s not like your 22^nd/​Market Bars or Larimer Square… it’s more like home to me!

Visited the Drink a couple of weeks ago. The drinks were great, but the service was terrible. I was told I had to pay $ 15 for a cup that the waiter picked up from my table. My ID was held for ransom until I paid the $ 15. However, when I received my bank statement, my card was actually charged $ 20 which I am pretty sure is illegal. This place is nice, but I will definitely NOT be returning.

For my friends bachelorette party we had a hard time finding a place for 50 girls. We found a good deal online and decided this was our place for the event. They let us bring our own decorations and food. I appreciate all the bartenders for helping us set up. We kept asking them for help and without hesitation they went above and beyond to make sure we had a great event. They helped us set the tables up, helped us cut the table cloths, and introduced themselves. Whenever we asked for something they would see if they could help us. I guess I was expecting a medicare bar, but I was wrong. We had our private tables near the TV and when it got packed they put the ropes up for us. The music was amazing! I love to dance and they played everything from 90’s-today’s dance music. I danced for hours with my girls. I hate when you go to a club and request a song but the DJ never plays it, however, we asked them to play several songs and they played them immediately for us. The bride to be got drunk, danced, laughed, and did an embarrassing scavenger hunt. One of the bartenders even serenaded her. What a fun, fun time! The drinks were not weak either, most of the girls got drunk or buzzed. I appreciated the bartenders for helping us and creating a memorable night! I would highly recommend them for a private event. You won’t regret it.

Great atmosphere and great service! My friend Brian introduced me to this place and I have to when we do go it’s nothing but a blast! The staff are extremely friendly and cater to your needs without hesitation. The management has gone to great lengths to ensure your visit is one to remember. I definitely recommend coming here and trying it for yourselves :). Keep up the great work guys!

A very large group of coworkers from out of town bombarded TheDrink and they handled it flawlessly. They quickly had three bartenders mixing and pouring faster than we could order. The music was great, good variety. The dance floor was good. People were joining more and more as the night went on. Great time overall and would love go come back.

This place is horrible for so many reasons. Where to start? First they have some of the most rude door and bar staff in downtown. Secondly, after I ordered 4 drinks, the bartender tried to charge me $ 55. After I asked why it was so expensive (seeing as how this isn’t Manhattan, LA, or Miami) he became indignant and acted like I was annoying him or upsetting his flow. He reluctantly admitted that he had over changed me, but still didn’t offer an apology. After I asked for an apology they decided I was being rude and kicked me out. Needless to say, I will be spending my money at all of the other crappy bars in lodo and not the real turd of the strip, The Drink.

Place was fun a while back but now the bad vibes of Lodo have taken over. As noted in other reviews bouncers are a bunch of thugs and have no idea what customer service is or who is responsible for their employment. There are a ton of better places to blow few hundred bucks on booze than this place… try Cold Crush… better music and much better vibe.

It was a really good location. The bartenders were nice. And it hadba good amount of tvs tonwatch the games. But the bad part it wss almost completely empty on a saturday night and sunday after the broncos game :(but overall it was cool. Redbull vodka 6bucks

… It’s ok. But without dropping names, you can have a chance at a possible better time, music or service 1 or 2 or 3 doors down. If you’re not going to engage your customers on non-​weekend nights when they attempt to engage, just shut down 4 out of 7 nights a week and save on operations costs. Nuff said.

Unfortunately wasn’t able to even get into this place last night. Wasn’t overly busy — bouncer was just playing studio 54 games for a place that doesn’t really need that type of BS.
I have gone on other occasions and had a decent time. Place is small, usually a decent DJ and the bartenders are ⁷⁄₁₀ (so ok in my book).
When I go out I bring friends and money so having to deal with bouncers with complexes I expect to deal with some — the guy last night just put a really bad taste in my mouth for this place. I guess I’ll just go to Lavish, Spill, or any of the numerous other places in the area that keep their staff in check.

When I lived close by I used to come here literally every weekend. It was always our first stop after all you can drink at Jackson’s. Gets super busy but the bartenders are always efficient and somehow manage to get you your drinks pretty quickly. Spent Halloween posted up by the bar here last year and had a blast with my friends. Great place for dancing and meeting people.

Place is packed! The DJ was great, had a really good mix, lots of 90s and millennial hits that take you back with solid beats under them (plus new stuff of course).
Solid on the pricing for nicer LoDo bars, again packed but fun. The dance floor was also mobbed. Lots of screens surrounding the venue, the DJ had a music video sync to them, which I like. In a great location with lots of other options close if you feel like bar hopping. Bartenders are very fast, nice to get great service even when the place is really busy. There is also ample seating and a unique bar that has a long extension on it (that you can stand on either side of).

Been there only few times so far, but I LOVED it! A lot of fun people and a few HOT guys :) Cant wait to go back! If a girl likes her bigger build guys, this is the place to be! Hard to keep ones hands to myself specially after a few drinks :)

Not feeling it here. The Drink just seemed like a big room where people stood around drinking for the sake of getting hammered instead of civilized socializing. The place had no vibe whatsoever. There were plenty of people hanging out for a Saturday night, but it just seemed like a drinking contest amongst a lot of mindless dudes. Not impressed.

I can count on one hand the number I’ve times I’ve gone out to a downtown/​Lodo bar, but somehow found myself here on Friday night with a big group. I think this is in the old Alto or right next door on 15^th and Larimer. The place was packed with many, many people lined up at the bar the entire night, yet the bartenders did a great job of serving everyone quickly. Maybe too great a job! A DJ played towards the back and I thought it was unusual but actually kind of nice that there were open booths, benches and high tables along the wall in that area, not just an open dance floor. Good for mingling not just dancing. But beware how much you drink at The Drink… two of my friends got kicked out after I left! Fun place and definitely easy to over do it.
