Obviously some of these reviews are the other owners or they haven’t been there recently, excellent service, food is outstanding!, portions unbelievable! Now they’re open til 9PM(sign is to be changed). Do yourself a favor and try it! You won’t be disappointed!

After watching the cook touch all the food with his bare hands including raw chicken, cheese, eggs, and bread products, I completely lost my appetite and left without eating the food. Please have your cook wear gloves and/or WASH his hands when handling different food items! That’s how you get sick from eating out!

Excellent breakfast. I had the hungry man breakfast and the sausage and ham were great and the bacon crispy. Best coffee I have ever had.

When Silver Grill first opened the food was great but you had to wait an hour plus to receive the food; it was always so crowded and the staff were clueless, but it was new so that’s expected. The food was at that point worth the wait and mediocre service. Now one of the cooks is no longer there and the past three times my husband and I have gone there we had noticed a substantial change in the quality of the food. It is apparent they are cutting corners and for that reason we will not be back. The corned beef hash was my favorite at first, now it’s a ton of onion and thinly sliced Deli meat mixed with a little potato shreds and then popped in the microwave. They now give you packets of maple flavored corn syrup to go with your pancakes and waffles– which are also not good. The instant grits they now serve are watery, flavorless, and not thoroughly cooked through. Even though the service has gotten a little better at the end of the day, people go out for good food. They need to stop cutting corners and also stop relying so heavily on that damn microwave.

My go to breakfast spot. I get the Denver omelet and it is enormous and comes with two sides for an excellent price. Delicious! I love Silver Grill. Breakfast omelets are amazing, hash browns, grits and fries are really well made too. I am so glad they came to town. They are friendly and the service is great. Everything we need in Denver. If you are looking for a place to take the family or to meet up with a friend, take them to Silver Grill. This is the best breakfast in town.

Another restaurant in this cool diner… I had country ham, 2 eggs scrambled, cottage cheese and fruit. The ham was Delish and had very little fat. The(real) eggs were good too. I ordered them well done and that was not the case upon arrival. I’ll def be back. It’s a nice change of scenery.

This recreation of a NJ dining car converted to a deli, like the other restaurants before it in this place fails to meet the mark. Walked in for Breakfast yesterday morning and were told to seat outselves. No problem except for the fact that while there were numerous vacant tables, only one had been bussed and was suitable to use. It was a small table and probably the worst in the place because it was in the middle of traffic and was next to the front and back door which means that everytime one of the doors opened, you got hit with a burst of cold air. Just about everytime someone would pass buy, they would bump into my wife. Service was at least friendly but they could not keep the orders straight. Twice after we had placed our order, they tried to deliver dishes to us that should have gone elsewhere. No skin or 2% milk so had to settle for whole which since my wife is on a perpetual diet, did not set well. I ordered the breakfast sandwhich which was two eggs on choice of toast(I chose whole wheat) along with a meat. I chose sausage expected patties and got links cut in half that kept rolling off of the sandwich. For a side I order hashbrowns that I could nor would not eat since they were basically raw. My wife had two eggs over easy a meat and side of fruit. In the end, the menu indicated a discount for seniors which is no big deal but we had to remind our server of that fact on more than one occassion. Again no big deal but for some, it could be. Final conclusion is that it’s total chaos, pay attention to what you order and be prepared for food that is not properly prepared. They try but miss the mark completely and would not recommend.

I have been wanting to stop by this old skool diner for a while. I finally made it. Inside is pretty nice. I sat at the bar facing the cooking area. My two star is based on my order being screwed up, bad. I ordered a egg, cheese and livermuch sandwich with cheese and mayo. The cheese and mayo were left off. There were six people in the place and only two orders up, so I am not sure how it was screwed up. The server had it on the order. Whatever, it was average, nothing earth shattering. The server was apologetic, but with Westlake(which I love) and Stacy’s in direct competition to them, I would think they would get their act together.
