Great selection in a great neighborhood!
Walnut Liquors not only caters to the new RiNo neighbors but also the local regulars that have been keeping the area running for decades.
Since the new owner has taken over about a year ago, there have been many changes made with selection and staff.

Awesome spot to stop and grab beer, wine or your favorite booze on the way home or to an event in City Park. Bonus — there’s usually a great food truck outside so you can get dinner and drinks to go!

I’m always impressed by the unique and growing selection of wines at Walnut. They always have exactly what I’m looking for. Love being greeted by a friendly pup and staff, too! My go-​to liquor store.

This store is under new ownership and a great place to pick up a six pack, liquor or bottle of wine. Very decent selection and super reasonable prices. And as an added bonus, they are dog friendly and have treats for your pup!

Thanks to the opening of Black Shirt last fall, this little liquor store seems to have moved the way of craft beer as well. Just two short years ago, you couldn’t get a bottle of mimosa champagne (cheap or otherwise) from Walnut Liquor and now I can pick up a six pack of Upslope.
The smallness does come with a caveat: high prices. While it’s perfect to grab a six pack for the weekend after imbibing too much next door, it’s definitely not where I’d go to stock up for a party. Prices can range from $ 10 for a standard craft six pack to $ 20 for a six pack of 19.2 ounce Dale’s.
However, I appreciate having a small, clean liquor store within walking distance where I can get some respectable beer in the event, uuuh, that I shouldn’t be driving.

Not the biggest selection but you can only do so much with a small store like that, it’s a real turnaround from before, much more open and bigger selection than they had.

!!!O V E R P R I C E D!!! Very disapointing. The selection is a big let down… Next time you’re at Costco, STOCK UP on booze, cause this place just plain STINKS! … No, I’m serious! It really does smell. It’s gross!

Dark, old, filthy, limited selection, and as he said, overpriced. Don’t bother.
