I’ve lived here about 6 months now and feel like I have a pretty good feel for the apartment complex. Overall, I think it’s a pretty relaxed and affordable place to live. I looked around the area quite a bit when apartment shopping, and ended up renting a 1 bed/1.5 bath townhouse at Willows at Tamarac. Willows at Tamarac isn’t a luxury apartment complex by any means, but it has all the essentials. My apartment had all the necessities, except for a washer/dryer, they have an onsite laundromat. The appliances in my apartment were a bit outdated as well as other things like the countertops and cabinets. I’d say they were about 20 years old. Everything was still functional. As for the complex itself, it’s pretty relaxed and feels fairly safe. There’s often kids playing outside after school without any worries. It’s a pretty quiet place to live and I haven’t encountered any rowdy neighbors. There’s a lot of families here. The management has been very helpful and friendly from Day 1. The apartment manager made sure things were fixed in my apartment when somethings stopped working. My AC stopped working and I reported it before I went to work, it was fixed by the time I came back home. It is a very affordable place to live given the convenient part of town it’s located in. I work in the Denver Tech Center(2 miles away) and that causes all other apartments to be at least $ 300 more than here. There is also several stores like Target, Walmart, Whole Foods, and King Soupers within 2 miles from here. As well as a 24 Hour Fitness and many restaurants. Parking can be limited late at night though. To avoid this, I paid an extra $ 25/month for covered parking.
