Just don’t. Rude hostess will quote the wrong time and be rude when you follow up with her. Food is chain crap.

Love the large variety of beer and the half yards they serve them in. Service is great and the servers can take and give a ribbing with the best of them.

Great atmosphere for a night out. They seated us even though our party was incomplete on a Friday night, which was generous of them — busy places typically don’t allow that! When everyone arrived, our waiter promptly took our orders. We were celebrating a birthday, so we got two free mini desserts to share with our party of 5. Both were delicious. The BBQ Chicken Salad is my favorite thing on the menu. There’s so many toppings that it doesn’t really feel like you’re eating a salad. I always ask for the chicken to be warm, since it’s typically served cold. The half size is the perfect meal portion for my wife, but of course I always get the full size.

This experience at the Yard House in Denver irked me a little. As a rule, we like the Yard House chain for a couple of important reasons. First, I’m a beer lover and I love the variety(though I would recommend that you consider replacing a few with some more interesting micro-brews from the area, we have many that are awesome — my suggestions would be Billies Chilies and a couple of good sours). Second, I’m a pescetarian(for now) and my BF is a lifelong vegetarian, so we really, really love the Gardein section of the menu. It’s awesome and I wish other chains would do this, but until that happens, we’ll eat at YH anytime we are near one. We especially love the veggie buffalo wings — they were perfectly cooked here, crispy under the spicy sauce. As usual, we ordered the«wings.» When they arrived, there were a measly 3 pieces of celery in the basket. Since we order this dish EVERYTIME we come to a YH, we know that there’s usually about 5 – 6 pieces. I asked about them, and the guy who was delivering them from the kitchen said he’d ask the kitchen — but there might be an EXTRACHARGE for any more pieces. I was shocked. We explained that the dish wasn’t typical, and we know because we order it often. I asked him to check with the kitchen, but if they decided they wanted to charge us for a couple extra pieces(we only wanted 2 or 3 more), I didn’t want that — instead, I told him, I would want to talk to a manager. When he came back from the kitchen, with a basket of WAY more celery than I asked for(or needed), he came clean and told the truth: they were simply running short on celery and were trying to conserve. Jeez. Why didn’t they tell the servers to let customers know when they’re ordering? Or simply provide the normal portion until they run out and then tell people they’re out? Or, better yet… why didn’t someone run down the street to the store and buy a bunch of celery? It’s cheap! We will be back. But, we were definitely annoyed by the lack of customer service for a small request(and a threat of an upcharge to try dissuading us).

The wait is crazy especially on a Saturday night. Some people were leaving because they were waiting for over an hour. If u are a beer drinker, it is definitely a place to be, so many choices. Calamari was amazing and also the lettuce wrap. I ordered pineapple chicken with fried rice. The Chicken was too burnt but the waiter said that is how it was suppose to be. I tried to eat it but could not even take three bites out of it. The waiter was nice to offer a menu for me to choose another food but I was ready to get out of there. For the price, I expected better food. I would come for drinks but not for food. Come during happy hours to get discount on drinks.

Stopped in here from NYC while staying at the Sheraton hotel. First of all, the beer menu is legit! I give the beer menu s solid 4 out of 5. Great atmosphere, good staff and the seared ahi tuna w/fries was perfect.

Beer? Think twice. I really like the food and beer at Yard House. I’ve been eating here and another location in Lakewood for about 12 years. Their food menu is varied and thoughtful. Their beer selection is incredible. I’m very disappointed with their recent beer prices, however. Perhaps the overhead on the 16th st mall is super high, but who charges $ 7 for a beer? That’s pretty ridiculous.

I went to this bar for my first time last night. You get a big impression when you walk in and see the huge selection of beer they have available. The host and the servers are very friendly and will treat you like a king. I know its a bar but I am still surprised with their quality and tasty food. I ordered boneless hot wings, potatoes sweet fries and guacamole and chips and they were pretty good. I had a great experience hanging out and drinking with my friends there. The enviroment and location are amazing as well. We will definetely come back soon. Thanks.

We knew we were going to eat too much, but no regrets. Started with crab dip and lettuce wraps which are staples for us and their excellence covered in a previous review. Tacos never disappoint, burgers are always excellent, but the new addition this time was the pork chops. Juicy, and well prepared with an apple cider sauce to go with it. The other was the lobster garlic noodles which had a healthy portion of seafood and tasty noodles in peanut oil. Both were impressive and worth adding to the list of regular options, though I don’t think I’ve had anything bad here.

Super dark inside. Loved the location of this place. Our server was very friendly and awesome. I ordered the Brussels sprouts with potatoes. Delicious! My wife got the Jamaican jerk wings and she loved it. She also got the truffle fries which were delicious as well. Yard house does have a house white beer that tastes similar to Hoegarden. Just a heads up. This was just a stop to have my wife and one of our friends eat but I’d love to come back and try more of their food items in their menu.

WOW! Rude hostess by the name of Abril seated us and even after I said that we would prefer a booth she say is at a bar top table. I had surgery on my back and this place went out of their way to make us feel so uncomfortable. What junk! People just dropped of the food and bailed without any check up. NEVERAGAIN!

I’m not sure why someone would want to go to a Yardhouse(yet another place to stare at sports center, perhaps) but it sure isn’t the food. It is a chain, so you can’t expect much in the way of quality. Still, for the prices they charge they should do better than a microwave. Portions are huge here, much like their oversized bankets. If you order something, you probably won’t finish or need a box. It’s too much to ask for them to cook your burger to the proper temperature, hopefully you like charcoal. Also, your meal will likely be cold by the time they bring it to you after spending plenty of time in the window. The calamari is unseasoned, and the desserts are a molten mess of diabetes in a pan. In all seriousness, there’s probably a McDonald’s not too far away, at least you won’t overpay and you might get lucky with a fresh order of fries, both are beyond the Yard House’s capabilities.

I have an odd obsession with Yardhouse. Yes, I know it’s a chain, and yes, there are many craftier beer places in Denver, but with Yardhouse, there is a sense of comfort and consistency. And o my word, the MENU! There is such a huge selection of food and drinks, it always takes me forever to order but I’m rarely disappointed. The truffle fries and garlic noodles are my stand bys! They have a huge selection of beer, and the seasonal menu is always changing. I was excited to see the much anticipated New Belgium Salted Caramel Brownie ale on the menu this past weekend when I visited. I have been to a couple other locations in different states, but I really think this one is my favorite. It feels much«classier» than the one in Boston, and is much more restaurant than bar/club(perhaps because the other one is near Fenway, I just felt like we could never even her ourselves think there!) The service has also always been wonderful. On our most recent visit, our waiter was super patient, explained the menu and lunch specials and THEN, when I wanted my salad boxed up– he took it away, boxed it up away from the table, and returned it to me in an easy to carry paper bag with handles. Let me just say, this is the way to my heart. I HATE when you go to a restaurant(whether it be fine dining, or a chain…) and you have to box up your own leftovers. I just feel like it detracts from the entire experience. That one factor definitely won me over! All in all, if you want more local beers, you should probably keep walking, but if you want a good meal with all of your favorites on tap, I would definitely check out Yardhouse!

I’m not sure whether the 2 stars are for the restaurant as an idea or problems related to my visit, so please take this with a grain of salt. Visit was at midnight on a Friday. Place was packed which certainly surprised me. Very dark inside with electronic candles which didn’t work. I had to use my phone to illuminate the beer menu. This was a bit of a turn off. The music was VERYLOUD to an uncomfortable degree. And crappy electronic club music. That’s probably my problem but crappy, loud music makes me cranky. Beer menu is impressive, I guess, although the novelty isn’t quite the same after having visited a number of brew pubs within walking distance that night and the days before. They advertise they have the world’s largest selection of draft beers so I’m sure that’s true, but for whatever reason it was almost too much. A lot of it is European, but also nothing SO unique that I felt like I was being treated to something. This is a problem when the menu is so massive. Shouldn’t I have found something fun? Instead, it was slogging through lines and lines of beers I didn’t want to drink. Again, maybe this is my problem. We ordered the nachos which were giant. Decent food. Service was spotty. Waiter was nice, but given it was the night before Halloween he must have had a costume as a ghost because we rarely saw him. Beers came quick but we had to track down someone to grab a soft drink for one of our party. It took awhile to get the check, too but we saw others having the same problem. Did I mention it was loud? Good heavens. 2 stars for a mixture of me just not liking the joint and for spotty service. Much better places to go in the area of you’re a beer drinker. Oh, and for it being LOUD! Updated after the comment by the business: Clearly this is a business that cares about its consumers and I very much appreciated their comment. If it had been high energy classic rock I probably wouldn’t have had the same issues and really had we come earlier in the evening I’m sure my waiter would have been more attentive to my beer needs. I would give this place another shot, maybe earlier in the day and when I had time to really explore the menu with help.

Came for the beer but also got some pretty good food. What you get with Yardhouse is a massive beer list and elevated bar food. The service is always good and the servers are knowledgeable to the beers which is always helpful. For snacks we got the duck wings(damn delicious) and the Kobe beef with spicy fried rice. I’ve never been let down by Yardhouse and the same goes for my last visit.

Although the Yard House is a franchise, the people who work at this one do a good job setting themselves apart from the pack. The customer service from the friendly servers was above and beyond all expectations. They are doing an excellent job and should be recognized for it. Yard House is a restaurant and bar that is known for featuring more beers on tap than anywhere you have ever been before. The food here is also really good! I had the enchilada stack and had no idea what to expect. When it arrived I was extremely surprised to see how much effort and pride that the cooks put into the presentation of my meal. Back to the reason I am writing this review, the service. I believe that our servers name was Lynnea and she was the best ever. She walked us through the humongous beer menu, making great recommendations and proving that she actually knew what she was talking about. We told her that we had just gotten to Denver and were wondering about a good place to watch the college basketball championship. She took the time to hang out for a little and tell us all about Denver’s sub districts and her favorite local spots. She even wrote everything down for us and taught us about the best ways to travel throughout the city. The location for the Yard House is brilliant. It is located right in the heart of downtown Denver and along the 16th street mall. If I lived in Denver than this would be a place I went to regularly. There isn’t a single thing that I could find to complain about. If you are in the downtown area visiting, give this place a try and you will not regret it.
