Got my brother a car starter for Christmas, via a LivingSocial deal. Can you believe that it took nearly 2 months to get an appointment? It was a popular deal, especially during this brutal winter. Ha! We dropped the car off the night before, since they have a drop box. Daryll(or someone who works for him) called around 2 to say the car was all set for pick up. Super nice and funny guys! They seem more legit than Underground Autosound. Like, they actually explained that the starter has a lifetime warranty and the remotes 5-year warranties. Plus the starter will run for 25 minutes. My starter only runs for 10 before it shuts off. Seems way more organized here. I’d recommend these guys for sure!

I couldn’t be happier with the service of Darryl’s. I got 2 car starters installed-1 in my car and 1 in my wives car. There was an issue with a ground wire in my car(no fault or cause by them-the car wasn’t new) and Joe the manager and his staff stayed 2 hours after closing on a Saturday to fix it and ensure my vehicle was good to go. I even told him to just go home and I’d bring it back on Monday because it was so late and he refused and stated that«we’re not leaving until the car starter works». Sure enough, they stayed until it worked. I couldn’t be happier and I couldn’t recommend them more.

I had to replace my Sirius Radio and decided to go back to Darylls to have a new one installed in my car. I thought it was a bit pricey. but I was short in time and decided to have it done. Next morning when I go to tune in to Howard Stern on Sirius 100 I find that it is not there. I called Sirius Corp(One of the biggest rip off companies you will ever deal with) and ask them what happened. They said the radio I purchased was a Sirius XM Radio not a Sirius radio and for $ 35.00 they would upgrade me and ONLYTHEN could I hear Howard in the morning. My pockets were empty, and my good intentions to treat myself felt abused, and I really was disappointed. I called Mark at Darylls and told him I wasnt happy. He made a few phone calls, and called me back. He offered to give me the $ 35.00 to cover the«upgrade» at Sirius,(which I said no to– I don’t want Sirius having another dollar) or to give him a couple weeks and he would find me a Sirius radio, which he did and installed. I’m glad he took the time to solve this for me– renews my faith in humanity a bit.

I wish I could say something better about this local business… I just can’t based on the two separate times I’ve been here. Daryll’s Car Audio specializes in exactly what their name is, car audio. Now for a place that specializes in such things, you’d think they’d be on top of their game when it comes to quality service. It’s honestly the complete opposite of that. When you walk in, you’ll notice that they do more than just car audio. They have rain guards for windows, neon lights for your car, and car starters. My first experience with this place was back in 2010, my front right speaker blew and I figured it was time to get new front speakers. I was just going to go to Best Buy and get myself a pair, but my friend scolded me and told me to not shop at corporations for car audio and go to a local store. Fine, that’s when I found Daryll’s Car Audio. I stopped by, talked to them about my car and they persuaded me to go with their most expensive pair for $ 149.99. I thought the higher the cost, the better the quality. I was wrong. A couple days past their one year warranty, not only did one blow, they both did. I contacted them about the warranty and nobody answered. I emailed them, no response. I left messages, I left emails, they were hell bent on not getting back to me. I swore off this place for good, until I bought a Pioneer Car Deck radio from Best Buy. When I bought this radio I don’t know where I had the insane idea of putting it in myself. I thought it would be simple since my old one was the same brand as the new one. With my options running out, I went back to Daryll’s Car Audio to see if they’ll just install it. I had to make an appointment, which was 5 days from when I stopped by, and place a deposit down on the installation. When I returned to have it installed, I told him I wanted to finish paying off the rest. His response was, «Oh, wait until we’re done in case we need to get anything else.» Hold the hell up, you told me you were just going to charge me installation fee, what’s this«if you need anything else» crap? Four hours later they finally had it complete, I returned and paid off whatever needed to be paid off and left. It wasn’t until later that night I noticed something off about my radio deck. I touched the outer ring of it and it fell right off! These Einstein’s put the outer ring on upside down! For a company that claims to do car audio, I’d like to see them actually do it right. That’s like me running a sewing company when I only know how to iron but I’ll still see if I can do it. This place is to be questioned hard if you plan on having any major work done to your car. For something as simple as the things I’ve had done, I’d be extremely worried to have anything major installed, especially if they have these hidden ‘we don’t know your final price yet’ fees.
