Super friendly staff, great job on the acrylics fill, polish was a little bit crappy looking after the fact, but all in all it was GREAT& I would definitely recommend, probably will come back for a fill.

$ 41 for a standard mani-pedi at this location. The attendants were friendly and provided quality service in painting my nails, but I feel like the cost of the service wasn’t really justified. $ 41 is what I expect to pay at a premium location. This place seems like any other nail joint. I also felt kind of rushed since I was the last of a party of 6 to get my nails done and more and more customers were trickling in.

I’ve been back fairly regularly since the prior review. I’m upgrading a star for a few reasons: They have new chairs — and they are AWESOME. Clean. Comfortable. Various kinds of massages are available. They move back and forth and up and down. They have even more colors available. Who knew that was possible? They manage the heating/cooling better these days. There is limited turnover of staff which tends to be a good sign. If you want a nice relaxing pedi this is the place to come.

Super clean nail salon with up to date renovations. They have practically every color manufactured in all the top brands. I haven’t come across a technician I didn’t care for. The pedi chairs are comfortable and they are newer than most I have seen in other nail salons. Appointments are nice to have, otherwise you could end up waiting 20 minutes or so. They are always accommodating and if you walk in a half hour before they close, they will usually take you. Yes, the technicians do sometimes talk to each other in another language but they still talk to the clients and are very friendly. $ 25 for a pedicure that lasts 4 weeks is great in my book. $ 25 for gel that lasts me 3 weeks is fab!

I do not get my nails done often and needed a place to go to before my wedding, so based off of the other reviews on here, I made an appointment. Everything went great, the owner’s wife helped me, and she did a fantastic job. That’s where my compliments end. The woman that my sister and one friend got, insulted both of them, on top of looking us all up and down when we walked in. She stared at my sister and said, «you’re getting your eyebrows done too, right?» And to my friend, «you don’t have much time to take care of yourself, do you?» My friend stated that in fact she does not have time to do her nails with a seven month old baby at home. The woman said, «yeah, I can tell.» Then… My mom kept going back after our pre-wedding appointment, and after being gouged by one of the tools that had been dropped on the floor and used anyway, woke up the next day with an infection under her toenail. She called the owner and he insisted that she send him pictures, and she ended up going in for him to remove the polish, and apply some sort of medication. He repeatedly stated very loudly, that she must have done something to her foot overnight, and it was not their fault. He proceeded to offer her her next pedicure for free, like she actually wants to go back for another infection, as her toenail is currently hanging on by a thread. As if that isn’t enough, I had also recommended this place to my friend who got married shortly after me, and her mother had gel polish put on before the bridal shower. She kept telling the woman that the light was not coming on to dry them, but she didn’t listen. She ended up going home and having the polish peel off of three of her nails. She went back the next day, did not even ask for a refund, and just had it all taken off. When we went as a group before the wedding, the owner refused to do her mother’s nails. He said she was too difficult complaining about the machine, and she clearly had done something to make the polish peel off, and refused to listen to her when she said she told the woman the light wasn’t coming on to dry them. Our whole group walked out after paying for the parts of the appointment we had done. We will never go back to Q Nails, don’t let the good reviews fool you. They are judgmental, rude, unhygienic, and have the mentality that the customer is always *wrong*. Pick one of the other nail places along Transit, you’ll probably save some money by doing so, too.

Fantastic place! Phong has done my nails for over 5 years. Perfect nails every time. The product they use is soooo good, I only have to go once a month. I have been to other nail salons and they cannot compare. Q-nails is the best! Prices are fair and always done right.

Called this place for the first time to ask if they had any openings for a pedicure. They didnt close for a few hours. I let the guy know I am a 15 minute drive away. He says some unintelligible banter about«getting there faster, okay?». I clarified again I live fifteen minutes away. He continues with his crap about«maybe you can get here in ten minutes.» I told him to forget it! A pedicure is supposed to be relaxing. When you can’t even make an appointment without being rushed, I suggest steering clear otherwise. Unless you have a teleporting machine, this place doesn’t want you!

They are so nice! Clean and bright store, with music videos playing in the background. Friendly, helpful staff. They switched my appointment time around to accommodate my schedule. They took me with no waiting. I am visiting from San Francisco and I wish my nail place at home was like Q Nails! I went back the next day with my two kids and my friends’ kid for mani-pedis and they got the whole package, foot bath, massage, everything. They treated them just like any other customer, even my four-year-old son. They painted little flowers on my daughter’s fingers and toes, and didn’t bat an eyelash when she messed up the same nail three times. They just smiled and fixed it.

OK, so it is clean and the staff is friendly. However, they clearly overcharged me. I had a pedi done Saturday. I opted for the spa package as I don’t do this that often. The sign next to the counter said this was $ 35. The girl cashing yelled how much to the guy who appeared to be in charge, and he yelled back $ 40. I really need to learn to be more assertive. I payed it, I left a tip for the girl who did the pedi, but I won’t go back and I can’ t recommend the place. Really wish I could leave off any stars.

I go here a lot for eyebrow/lip waxes. It’s close by the office so I can run on my lunch break. I never make an appt, but they are always able to take me quickly. It seems sketchy because they bring you into this walk in closet area to get them done. But, they do a great job and for a great price. Their pedicures are also great too — not a luxury spa — but rather a little shop in Tops plaza. They have the comfy leather spa chairs to sit in while getting the pedi and always some interesting music concerts on the television to watch.

Clean and simple location, not a spa. But nice pedi foot massage and my nails look great! It was just what I was looking for!
