My mother recently paid for her car. But for the past two years she hasn’t had any sound. I thought it was strange that all four speakers would go at once, and assumed she would need a new amplifier.
Well we shopped around and nobody seemed to know what they were talking about. A friend of mine recommended Car Tunes in Derry. We stopped by and it turned out they knew exactly what the problem was. So we made an appointment to come back and have the speakers replaced.
We came back, dropped off the car, and walked across the street to get some coffee and relax. We didn’t even finish our coffee before they called us and said it was all set.
In less than two hours my mother had a nice new set of Alpine speakers that sound much better than what she had previously.
The price was great and the service was friendly. Now Mom owns her car and has a beautiful sound system to celebrate it with :)

Here is my experience:
At this point, I had shopped around for two weeks and no one else would even come close to their price, customer service, or quality of products. Items that were installed: Alpine type R sub 12inch, amp, custom built box and bass adjustment knob hooked up to my new cars audio system.
I go in two days before Christmas, after talking to Bob for a couple days about what he suggests I do with the audio system. So I know what I want; now I just fear he’s going says that he cannot do the instillation for two weeks like all of the other stores I contacted. Bob states «drop it off tomorrow and I will have it done by 4 pm». I was like what on Christmas Eve? Amazing!
I drop the car off and just like Bob said it was done at 4 pm. Almost like a Christmas Miracle!
Instillation was clean and the positing of the bass adjusting knob was excellent; right under the steering wheel, hidden, but accessible.

So far, I am impressed. I did some research on their website and the next day got an email with a quote. I called for an appointment and they were very friendly. I’m dropping my car off on Wednesday morning. I feel very confident that I am getting a good product at a fair price.
I had the car starter installed today. I got to the shop one hour before they opened but they let me in anyway. Very friendly and helpful with a professional attitude. They did a great job, and didn’t try to upsell anything. My cost wasn’t a penny more than the quote.

With the simple intent to have an AUX cable installed I decided to swith to a new radio with bluetooth on the spot. Trevor was so helpful and the installation was super fast! They got me in same day and the customer service was fantastic and the prices were good! HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place! Huge thanks!

had 1700 dollars worth of work done on my car there… they melted the door panels, only re-​installed half of the fasteners, didn’t put any grommets on the amp wiring passing through the firewall, the amp racks they built both fell apart in under 8 months, when i picked up my car that i requested a custom sub enclosure be built for i was presented with a wrong sized for both the car and the sub enclosure, they ‘tuned’ the stereo system crossover points completely wrong and had one side of the car completely out of phase. I asked for door build with the ways in stalled in custom map pockets and arrived to find tweeters in the dash and mid ranges so far back the seats block their output… they also broke my interior door handle and used wood screws to mount to sheet metal… drilled one amp rack mounting screw into the rear fender well… complete unskilled hacks… go elsewhere… they recently changed the name of the shop to sight and sound
