Leader Garage Builders and Overhead Door

Very unprofessional and disrespectful carpenters!
We had two carpenters from Leader Garage Builders begin building our garage as subcontractors through Chicagoland Garage Builders, until they stormed off of the job site mid-​build. I can’t say what their names are because they never introduced themselves. They were extremely rude and unprofessional and significantly lacked any curteous human interaction skills.
Our garage is behind the house at the end of a driveway that goes along the house. The driveway had just been poured on Friday and we were told by the supervisor at Chicagoland Garage not to drive on the new cement for two weeks. We also confirmed with them that the building materials for the new garage would be dropped at the apron of the driveway and carried up the drive. Well, when the carpenters from Leader Garage Builders came 5 days later, they did not agree with this plan. They proceeded to park their van to the back of the house and bullied the supply truck driver into pulling the fully-​loaded delivery truck onto the driveway, swearing and cursing in front of us that the driver had been told not to drive on the new cement! After four hours, we were finally able to get through to them to get their truck off of the driveway and move it to the driveway apron. While they seemed to do quality work, they continued to be extremely rude and disrespectful, even scowling at our 2 year old who was looking at the construction going on outside the window. They put up the walls and framed out the roof in the first day.
When they arrived on the second day, they proceed to again cut the caution tape at the end of the driveway and park at the back of the driveway. I went out and asked them to move the vehicle several times but the carpenter said «okay,» but continued doing whatever he was doing. He just disregarded the fact that I had asked him not to keep the van on the new cement (not even attempting to placate me or explain that they just wanted to unload their tools quickly). Finally, after asking (then telling) several times, the carpenter got upset and (speaking in another language) told his coworker to pack up the tools. They continued loading up their tools and several pieces of lumber onto their van on the driveway until they finally left 20 minutes later.
EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL, DISRESPECTFUL AND RUDE!!!

Ted just built my garage and it looks great. Even the building inspector was impressed with the quality craftsmanship! Great price for great work.

I had Ted build a garage for my in-​laws, he did excellent work, was clean and in and out in a matter of days. His electrical subcontractor was also very fast and professional.
