Food: 4 stars Décor: 4 stars Value: 2 stars Service: 4 stars Overall: 3 stars First, was a fan of the previous Korean owners when they were Mandarin Garden. However the new owner is very attentive, focused on making your experience good, and they have really redid the inside décor and its much more a restaurant then a Chinese take out place. Then menu is no longer focused on Chinese/Mandarin takeout as there is no small/large orders and everything is an entrée served with soup and salad. Which is disappointing since the food was excellent and would be nice if they had better takeout options with more reasonable prices and dropped the salad and soup for takeout. I think there aim is to be a high quality sushi and Korean restaurant. Now onto the important part– the food. Salad was delish with orange and ginger dressing. Soup was not too good. A favorite takeout of many Mandarin Garden customers was the Mongolian Beef and I am happy to say the chef nailed it and it tastes very similar while the beef used taste better quality then what Mandarin served. It was a bit on the salty side, but was good and spicy. Orange Chicken was perfect. I hate when sweet and sour is overpowering with vinegar, this was a perfect balance and I think I tasted some orange zest which was a nice touch. Now onto the bad. The Orange Chicken pieces were so small it was basically just batter and the dish mostly had more vegetables then Chicken. So while taste was great, value was very poor. Hope the owner Raymond takes that feedback and changes this since the dish flavor was great. The chicken fried rice was good but again the amount of chicken in here was almost non-existent, but flavor was good. The Mango smoothie was also very good and fresh, but for $ 3.50 was a bit pricey for its size. So overall, very good flavor to dishes and excellent décor and service. But value needs to improve to win my dollars. Its a new owner and new restaurant so hopefully this improves. Would also like to see some takeout prices and takeout portions for common stuff like Mongolian Beef, Fried Rice, Orange Chicken, etc. Without a Chinese takeout type prices and portions(drop the salad and soup), I am not sure I can recommend this for takeout. Entrees were $ 10 or more and not very good portions. But for a high quality restaurant dining experience, I highly can recommend it. I am not a sushi eater so I can’t comment on that but from the rest of the reviews here it seems they have good sushi. I look forward to going back to try some of their Thai entrees. But looks like we may have to find a new place for quality/value takeout Chinese/Mandarin — suggestions welcome.

We ordered online… which was very user friendly. Printed our receipt. Order got delivered ahead of time quoted. When the delivery guy gave us their printed register receipt… the tip we had added online wasn’t on there, so of course we didn’t want to short the delivery guy and added another 20%. As we’re eating the food… we noticed that the shrimp fried rice had tails on. Also we ordered extra shrimp and paid accordingly but only got 2 extra shrimp. That being said… I did speak with owner about our complaints… he said he would credit our acct.

I called in an order and picked up during my lunch break. The restaurant is located in a tiny plaza but there is parking available. I was particularly craving Korean Food that day and wanted spicy pork. They have Kimchi Bokum(with spicy pork and generous portions of tofu) which is what I ordered. Came with a three tiny sides(kimchi, sweet radish and broccoli), rice and miso. I think the portion of the pork wasn’t as much as a true Korean restaurant, however with all of the other sides I think it balanced with the price. I’d probably return and try more things on the menu. Delivery is offered within 3 miles of their location.

Was a fan of the previous China Garden so when Sayuri opened i was kinda hesitate to try, but i did anyway and boy was i glad!!! First of all, ordering for delivery is easy since it is all done ONLINE! It lists the complete menu including the LUNCHSPECIAL. Simply Add to the cart and when you’re ready for check out, it gives the tax amount, delivery fee($ 2.00) as well as the total amount due. Ordered their Sweet & Sour Chicken and Pad Thai Shrimp LUNCHSPECIAL. The S & S chicken is really good. The batter is not that heavy, and the sauce is very sweet. Pad Thai shrimp is just OK. I thought they could have done more with this Thai cuisine but anyways… Lunch Special includes Salad with Orange/ginger dressing, 2 gyoza(dumplings), fried or white rice, as well as miso soup. Miso soup was really tasteful. The food arrived HOT, well packed and secured inside a brown bag. From the time i ordered online to the actual arrival, i’d say it was less than 30 minutes. The only drawback on this is the small portion compared to other restaurant’s lucn special. The rice is maybe half a cup as well as the main dish for LUNCH specials. So it’s not a good idea to share with another person. Overall, i’m sure our family will be back here to order.

I can’t praise this restaurant enough. The fish is super fresh, they include a lot of extras, and have wonderful hot meals too(my oldest son is partial to their Shrimp Pad Thai). The service is outstanding, everyone is kind, after only going for take-out three times, the employees recognize us and greet us warmly. I highly recommend them!

My wife and I went to this restaurant hoping that it would be an improvement over the previous Chinese establishment at this location. I’m always excited to try a new, independent place, and usually have nothing but the best wishes for a family-run place just getting off the ground. That said, they got my wife’s order wrong and made no offer to correct it, and I was distracted by the grittiness of my soup and entrée. I think they need to learn to wash all their vegetables. Considering the various sources of produce served in this country, it doesn’t help for me to spend my meal wondering if I’ll fall ill later in the day. Chicken pieces had chewy tissue in them. I honestly hope they can improve the quality of their food and their customer service, so they can enjoy the rewards of their efforts.

This past week, I received a menu in my mailbox from Sayuri Fusion. Despite the name, I don’t know if I’d call this restaurant Asian Fusion(which I consider to be the mixing of cuisines within one dish) so much as four different types of Asian cuisine(Chinese, Korean, Thai, and Japanese) under one roof. After noticing that there was sushi on the menu, I got excited, because I am always on the hunt for good sushi places, and I had been unable to find any that weren’t at least 20 min away from me. I decided to try the Sashimi lunch special, which comes with 8 pieces of sashimi(chef’s choice, but all of the standards you’d get in a sashimi lunch special), rice on the side, miso, and salad, for the very reasonable price of $ 9.50(plus 20% off, since it’s the grand opening week). I got it to-go, but they have dine-in as well(and the inside has gotten a nice facelift from before, when it was Mandarin Garden). The first thing I noticed was that they got the little stuff right. The miso was the right amount of salty, the chopsticks were nicer than your average takeout pair(no splinters here!), and the ginger was probably the best I’ve ever tasted. But the standout was the sashimi. It was fresh, and it melted in your mouth. If this level of quality continues, I have a feeling I’ll be eating sushi from here at least once a week.
