Wendy’s

Oct. 24… took my Granddaughter for lunch… staff was especially competent, courteous & friendly… during an especially busy time… and keeping tables clean and condiment station stocked… great experience for a fast food restaurant…

So many negative reviews I just had to comment! All the people getting their orders wrong, not sure if they are ordering off the menu or customizing. I have been here maybe 7 times in the past few months, during lunch rush and my orders have been fine. There is always a huge line inside during rush but the drive thru moves quickly. Just got a bunch of coupons in my bag for free fries/​drink with baconator or free waffle frosty with purchase. Nice!

It’s pretty status quo Wendy’s, though I have only driven thru, never been inside. My order has always been accurate, food is hot and fresh.
Staff is nice.

They sometimes don’t give you fresh fries even when you ask them for no salt. Just make sure you double check your bag and receipt when you get your meal. The staff is pretty nice though and they do try to work on pace most of the time (not as much traffic as other places across the street).
I wouldn’t go out of my way for this though.

Yet another horrible Wendy’s — this is bad and will make Dave Thomas get out of the grave!!!
When I did go to this location, everytime I go to the drive-​thru, the food order I get is almost always wrong or takes 10 – 15 minutes to wait for. Plus, looks like its put together badly. Have some sort of pride when making the food for your customers — we pay for your wages! I did when I worked at McD as a teen; no one got sick, and no complaints from my prepared food.
I don’t recommend going here — if you want another decent Wendy’s, go to the one in Glenview nearby Lake and Milwaukee, or the other Des Plaines location on Potter and Dempster.
I haven’t been here in over 3 years.

The Junior Bacon Cheeseburgers, a staple in Adrian W Dietary needs, is now $ 1.29, an increase of .30 cents… which means a near 30 percent increase of me dining elsewhere.

I try to avoid writing reviews of fast-​food establishments unless the experience was completely horrible or completely great (I also don’t even eat at fast-​food anymore). In today’s case, the experience was great!
The reason I went to Wendy’s was for a field trip with the special needs program at the elementary school I work at. This Wendy’s location was extremely understanding and accommodating of our loud, hyper kids.
Also, the manager on duty was a sweet man who knew sign language really well and was excited to have me a customer (as well as the kids, he wanted to learn more about them and what we do).
I’d come back.
Just a warning: Wendy’s version of a veggie burger is giving you a hamburger with all the fixings and no kind of meat at all. Not even the veggie patty. Fortunately, the manager allowed me to substitute that for a sandwich at no cost.

This location is horrible! I have tried this specific location about 2 or 3 other times and every time it has been bad. I just went there this past Monday, 11÷1÷10 around 3p. The girl working the drive-​thru gave me incorrect change and when I told her (money I gave her still in her hand) she proceeded to give me the correct change but didn’t bother to even look in my direction while handing it to me. She just stuck her hand out the window with dollars in her hand. What happen to customer service?
As I’m pulling away I asked my b-​friend to check the order and I was missing 1 of 2 orders of chicken nuggets. I backed up to the window and informed the girl that I was missing food and her repsonse was, «It’s gonna be a wait. Do you still want them?’ I looked at her confused because… I had already paid for them. I pull in a spot to wait about 5 minutes and no one came out. I then went into the location and had to wait at the counter for assistance when I was the only person at the counter. I got my food and realized when I got home that they put the wrong ingredients on my b-friend’s sandwich and I had no sauce for my chicken nuggets.
I will drive out of my way to go to another Wendy’s or not go at all. This location has terrible service and at 3p in the afternoon I expect to have decent service since there is no lunch rush. I will never go to this locataion again. Thanks for spoiling my lunch Wendy’s.

I have gotten my food right away, the bad part is it was not what I ordered
I live very close by and have had several wrong orders. Chicken Club has bacon and cheese, but what I get is crispy chicken, tomato and lettuce. Not a Chicken Club. Chile and Cheese, what is so hard about putting in the Cheese? Do not ask for a baked potato late after 9pm what you get is hold over warmed up brown inside potato. You have to ask for a receipt or you will not get one. They now have a new manager he states he will get things fixed. I hope so. I alway liked Wendy’s food and do not want to go to Dempster St to get it. This is the Lee St. Wendy’s
