HIPAA VIOLATORS! Shodhan was a preferred network provider for Liberty Dental Plan. In violation of federal HIPAA law Shodhan Dentistry illegally released my private health information and dental records to Liberty Dental. Neither of them had authorization to do so.
Shodhan is scandalous, unethical and illegal on all levels. Avoid at all costs.

Covered by denti-​cal, I went to get new dentures. He told me they don’t pay for wax molds and then proceeded to make me teeth with an over-​bite, LIKE HIS!!! I told him in the beginning I didn’t want an overbite and he did it anyway! When I complained, he tried to take the teeth from me, calling me a thief and literally screaming at me! Dent-​i-​cal had already told me to keep them to see a screening dentist about my complaints. He is a real jerk and crooked as can be. He cuts corners trying to make the most profit he can. STAY AWAY!

I only gave this place 1 star because I had to choose something.
I should have known from the reviews on Google that this place was no good, but I went off of a recommendation. My appt for my 3 boys was rescheduled 3 times. I took 1 of my 3 boys and I wasn’t completely satisfied with the appt, but I thought it’s just a 6 month visit. The Dr was quick to tell me that my son needs braces which I’m aware of and told him we had been looking around. He told me he had good prices and could start right then and there. I told him no thank you and he carried on about his business. My other 2 boys appt gets canceled AGAIN I’m told they could get me in on the 24^th (Christmas Eve) I ask the woman on the phone if she is sure she said oh yea come in at 10. We’ll see you right away and the drs brother sees his patients much quicker anyway (no clue what that means but ok) 10:45 still hadn’t been called the chairs are all full in the back the drs had just walked in at 10:20 and the receptionist tells me oh you’ll be next for xrays. I ask how long will I be waiting though? It’s my 4^th reschedule and your an hour behind already. She tells me well we do have other patients. Understand, but how long? The other receptionist gets sassy and tells me they’re are other people aside from you guys. Again not my question… 1hr wait no patients had left, so we did.
I understand being stressed, I understand overwhelmed however I don’t do rude. Especially on Christmas eve.

Great dentist/​orthodontist. Dr. Harin Shodhan is really nice and knows people and what they need. Really great staff. I’ve been going to him for a few years now for my braces and my 2 sons braces.

Horrible experiences. I don’t know why I ever came back. They over book I’ve waited hours & hours there to the point where I almost walked out. However I couldn’t due to that fact that I previously paid for my services. The icing on the cake was when I went back after an issue with a filling they did, TWICE! I would floss & felt like my filling was going to come out, the floss would get stuck. I could feel air and saliva in my filling when I’d bite down. They did another set of xrays & just simply said I didn’t know how to floss, every thing was fine. Well after weeks of it bothering me & being in pain I went to another dentist where he told me the filling stuck out in between my teeth so that’s why it was catching onto the floss. So the filling was lose & almost infected & I had to have to redone. After that incident I will not go back. They didn’t even try to listen to the situation they were so over booked. I was referred to come here by a family friend. Last time I take someone’s advice.

poor uneducated staff at the palm springs location. The office mgr has no clue on how to do billing insurance and he is lazy. Took them 4 weeks to even start billing my insurance. They are still using dr keller’s old phone # and name. Each office should have a office mgr who is educated and customer service detailed as well as properly trained in the dental field. They have 4 locations so i guess its going to end up to be another western dental

I recently came in to do a root canal. It took three different sessions. The first time I went I was there for 4 hours, second time I was there for 3 hours and the third trip was 2 hours. They over book so your not getting that one on one. The only good thing I could say is that they do show some care towards you.

I love the team at Shodham Dentistry. They really care about their patients. I’m glad I found them.
