Capriccio café is awesome. I went in not knowing what I wanted. The gentleman at the front talked me through to the sandwich that best suited my vegetarian needs. He even added a little vinaigrette to my vegetable sandwich. Talk about going the extra mile. I got all my veggies in for the day and didn’t feel like they were«gross.» The cool sliced them in a way that mimics a deli meat slice. The chips were a little too deep fried for my lifestyle but the few I had were tasty. I ordered a coffee with caramel and soy milk. It gives Starbucks a run for their money. I’d recommend this place for a single diner or even a couple as each meal is prepared to meet all the needs of the individual. They also gave me a local discount without me having to ask! Great spot for locals and tourists alike. I’ll be back soon and would like to try the Fort Walton Beach location too.

SO good. Took wife and four kids(two sort of picky), they all ordered crepes and loved them. Three ordered Nutella crepes, one ordered preserves crêpe. All devoured quickly. I got a custom crêpe with prosciutto, parmacotta ham, mozzarella, spinach and tomatoes. It was heaven, so sad to take last bite. Super friendly service, delicious coffee, definitely going back!

This review is just for the coffee and the staff. The coffee here is EXCELLENT!!! It’s a must try if you visit this place. And the staff,(I wish I could remember the one guy’s name), but they’re so personable and friendly. The atmosphere here is just lovely. If you’re in the mood for some java, give this place a shot!

I have been here twice for coffee and each time it was exceptional. I have not tried any of the food although I have seen a bunch of it and it looks fantastic I can’t wait to go back and try the whole menu. On my first trip I had the espresso and coffee I like to mix them together and it was superb. My most recent visit I just had the coffee, the strongest that they offer, and it was absolutely amazing one of the best coffee spots you can find in Destin proper. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating customer service skills through the roof. I will be going back to this place as many times as I possibly can and it’s such a quick drive for such delicious coffee and espresso. If you’re in the area do not miss this spot it is fantastic!

Friendly staff and good coffee. There’s not much local coffee shop in the area and out of all the shops I’ve visited this one has been the best.

The best coffee, employees, food is fresh and taste delish! Is in Shoreline Village Mall across from Target. It’s a small place but the is seating out back in the courtyard In the season there are nightly concerts held outdoor behind them. Pleasant place to relax!

Kitchen closes at 3:30 even though it’s open until 4. Disappointing because we hurried to get there by 3:40. Have been there before though and the food was fresh and good. I recommend the crepes.

Wholly cow. One of my top 3, throughout the US, for a fresh mocha. Not to mention the fresh good food.

The service was excellent. They barista allowed me to try the drink to make sure it had enough syrup. The thin mint latte and crêpe with Nutella and strawberries are delicious.

Great staff for sure! Coffee was good enough but not a fan of fake sweeteners overloading. The brûlée didn’t taste like brûlée and had the destin dream which very odd but tasted like a root beer float. Pretty interesting. Still cool place and ppl for a sugar coffee if needed

This is the best place in Destin to get coffee, great service, tea and the best crepes you have ever had. The staff here is great and will offer suggestions and make things how you want it. The Pasticcio is my fav crêpe… strawberry, banana and marscapone. Not sweet but just right. The other favorite is the American… so great! The gluten free crêpe is amazing as well. Ginger peach tea and now they have other teas they can brew for you over ice. The staff knows your name etc… FUN!

This place lives up to the five star reviews. The staff is very welcoming and the food is fresh(my #1 priority). I had a spicy red latte which was cinnamon and red velvet flavored. It had fresh whipped cream on top. For someone who dislikes straight coffee, this was perfect. My coworkers had regular coffee and were plenty happy with the morning roast. We each had a different sandwich and everyone was impressed. I had the foccacia and prosciutto… do recommend!

Five stars. Hands down. No doubt. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. They were out of filters and couldn’t give my fiancé a poor over coffee, so they gave him a coffee on the house. I tried the Parma Crêpe – it was fantastic! Everything was so delicious that I went back and ordered us a Nutella crêpe for dessert. This place is not touristy in the least, which I definitely appreciated. It’s just a good atmosphere, Italian café with delightful drinks and tasty crepes and sandwiches! I would highly recommend.

Woo hoo! I LOVE coffee! But, more specifically, fake coffee… aka, coffee with a ridiculous amount of flavors that make it barely taste like coffee anymore! I just have a sweet tooth, can’t help it. Anyways, I recently went to visit my brother in Destin, FL and he told me we HAD to stop in here. We stopped in right before the kitchen was closing and being in the service industry, I decided against ordering food(I HATE it when people order right before we’re closing the kitchen). However, the lady at the counter seemed to be very patient and didn’t show any signs of irritation. She was pleasant the whole time and was more than happy to make me a delicious DARKCHOCOLATECOVEREDSTRAWBERRY coffee and it was just incredible. The variety is amazing. They have so many different coffee flavors that if I was local, I would probably come back and try one everyday. Also, for you«normal» coffee drinkers, I am sure that the regular coffee without any flavoring is just fine also. The feel is very comfortable. It’s smaller, but really nice and makes me wish I had one back in Fort Lauderdale. It’s also really nicely decorated. They have cute local art hung on the walls — which you can purchase if I’m not mistaken? — and cool looking coffee presses as art décor(correct me again if I’m wrong). Like I mentioned, unfortunately I wasn’t able to try any food but it will 100% be my go-to coffee place next time I visit Destin. And I will be sure to try every flavor :) And probably a sandwich… or 7.

This is what a local coffee/sandwich place should be! Like J Michael H. said…“decidedly non-tourist feel” which is nice because they are laid back, friendly, and willing to happily make suggestions or changes unlike other places along the beach towns were you get treated like a number… even when it’s the off-season and you’re a local! I got an espresso and it tasted authentic except it seemed to have a few more mL of juice than normal… which is nice. I also got one of the savory crepes and it was super tasty! Great place — I’ll be back!

This place… wow! This place could teach other restaurants a thing or two about service! It’s very rare that you walk into any place anymore and feel as welcomed as you do here! They are all super nice and accommodating, no rushing, no eye rolling, just nice attentive fun service. It’s really refreshing to see such amazing passion from employees. The food, equally as good! I had the Nutella crêpe with strawberries and my husband had the croissant sandwich. Both were cooked perfectly and quickly! The atmosphere is cute and inviting, not stuffy or drab. I loved the local artwork on the walls! Seriously, this has to be one of the best restaurants/coffee shops I’ve ever been to.

Care for a tasty, light, healthy breakfast or lunch… you’re definitely in the right place. The coffee was decent but the croissant breakfast sandwich was delicious. I wanted the strawberry crepes but they were apparently out of strawberries and replaced it with raspberries. Looked gorgeous, but seemed like a dieters crêpe. Almost no sugar made it feel a little strange but I was happy realizing it was healthy. the whipped cream on the side helped though.

If you’re reading this, this place is classified under«shut up and take my money». This is a local establishment that I can’t believe I haven’t been to yet since living in Destin. After taking a work trip to Tacoma I have been craving REAL coffee. Sorry Starbucks, but suck it… my gold card will now be used to scrape ice off my windshield, jk it’s Florida. When I first walked in I was greeted by who I assume is the owner, Italian(legit right), and cleaning tables. Like a man who cares about his small business. We chatted about coffee and prosciutto and I was hooked. The barista is super knowledgeable and brews some great coffee. I also ate their Prosciutto de Parma sandwich which was huge, seriously, and ridiculously delicious. The server also brought me some balsamic to dip the fresh made focaccia(yes I could tell) in. They were all so incredibly friendly. I will be back. probably tomorrow…

A quaint little Italian sandwich shop, opened by an Italian transplant from Milan. The owner was in the shop while we were there, and seeing as we were the only customers at 2PM on a Friday, asked us about our food in his charming Italian accent. The chefs and baristas were also very charming and helpful as we ordered our food and coffee. I ordered a croissant sandwich per recommendation, with speck, a smoked prosciutto. It was delicious, with the crisp and flaky croissant melting in my mouth! Delish! I also ordered a latte, which sadly did not have the latte art everyone else’s drink had. My friend ordered a Nutella crêpe for everyone to share. He told this fact to the chef, who ended up splitting the crêpe into 5 separate pieces on each plate, which was very considerate, although it would have been cool to see the crêpe in its entirety. It’s not exactly the same as the crepes I had in Paris, but still delicious. There were so many options I had no idea how to order. From the crepes to the croissants to the sandwiches, there’s something for everyone. I only ordered a latte, but there are other specialty espresso drinks for the coffee enthusiast to try. Capriccio Café is an affordable and cute little spot to relax before or after a day on the beach.
