Hell YES!!! I love this place!!! Get in here! I have been starving for a place like this. Awesome salad options, awesome make your own choices, great dressings, awesome weird bread that I love, AWESOME music. Everything about this place is badass. Go here, love it, repeat.

I think alot of people would associate salad as being a bowl of iceberg lettuce, with some vegetables and dressing thrown in for good measure. Those people really need to try a mind blowing salad at 7 greens. I’d never really thought about a salad as a filling dish, but this place takes that notion and amplifies it. This isn’t just lettuce at the bottom of the bowl with veggies on top. They thoroughly mix in all the quality ingredients of your choosing(brussel sprouts, cucumbers, green beans, nuts, hummus, almost anything you can think of), and present you with a salad that will spoil you for all others. There’s never been a better place to spend $ 30 for a couple of salads. The salads are customized and very filling. Uncomfortably filling depending on what you put in it. The establishment is clean. Only downsides –Doesn’t stay open very late –No alcohol –The website is lacking key information(hours for one) –The menu in the location could’ve been designed better. It takes time to figure out what you want because the information isn’t displayed well. I wish they were open later.

Just finished an amazing, healthy version of the famed Maurice salad. The 7 Greens version includes turkey, prosciutto, eggs, sweet pickles and their own Maurice dressing. I opted for Romaine and spinach instead of iceberg. There was a long line and the folks who crafted my salad were fast, friendly, and efficient. I added a chocolate chunk cookie at the last minute because they just looked too good to turn down. I was not disappointed. Both the salad and the cookie were absolutely delicious and enough to be filling. The cookie was a bit rich, so it’s my bad for not grabbing some milk to go along with it. I definitely recommend this place for a quick, healthy, downtown lunch. It reminds me of the first salad bar-style restaurant I went to called Verde in Charleston, South Carolina. So awesome to see one in downtown Detroit! had a brief chat chat with the owner, and I look forward to my next opportunity to patronize her place.

So many selections! I love this place! The salads are so good! The Yoga girl salad is probably one of the most popular. You can also make your own salad. They give you a good amount for a lunch portion when you go and they mix up your salad before serving it to you. It’s kind of like a chipotle style. Love it though! If you love salads you should definitely make your way around the block to get here!

I’m normally not a salad eater for lunch, but the salads are very filling. Fresh ingredients and tasty salads that contain ingredients that I otherwise would never think to put in a salad! My favorite is the Wok It To Me, and I usually add chicken. I love that the chicken is halal. This is my first choice when eating lunch in the area, absolutely love it!

The food is good but not worth the HORRIBLE customer service. Not only are all the employees super unwelcoming but the manager is the worst. They charge you for EVERYTHING. Expect to pay $ 14.00 plus for a vegetarian salad with a side of rudeness. Way too pricey for a salad joint. Make your own salad save your money and dignity.

I’ve ordered salads from here several times. The first few times were great. The last several times were not. First, they changed their online ordering and now the website rarely works for me. I have to refresh and add my order 3 – 4 times before it will go through. I have a short lunch break so it’s easier for me to order online and pick up. The manager always seems really irritated when we pick up our carryout. Second, the salads are pricey but worth it because they’re good… however, if I’m going to spend $ 15 on a salad, I would hope my order would be accurate. I’ve given them a lot of chances thinking maybe they just missed it this time. But several times I’ve been charged extra for items like extra dressing or toppings and they weren’t included in my carryout. I don’t mind paying for quality but not if my order will be inaccurate. Third, the last time I ordered, my salad was put in the bag sideways and the bag was stapled shut. When I opened it my salad was spilled all over the inside of the bag. I ate what I could salvage and during my meal I bit into a staple that was in my bowl. I really enjoy their salads but likely will not go back after multiple mishaps. Unfortunate because I recommended this place to a lot of people prior to this.

7Greens, I’m obsessed with you. But I gotta knock off two stars, because this is the second time you’ve gotten my order really wrong. And not a complicated one, either — I asked for a wok it to me, and when I got back to the office, half of the ingredients weren’t in it. No noodles, no crunchy ramen, no almonds. Wtf?

So, the food is pretty good and everything is fresh and tasty, but the price is a little outrageous. Most salads start at $ 10, but if you add protein then you are talking about a $ 15 dollar salad. I would rather blow $ 15 another way in the city and get more and better food than you get here. That said, I do find myself running over there once in a while when i want some lighter fare. But I also walk away with a lighter wallet.

FAVORITEPLACEEVER! If you’re obsessed with salad like I am… you’ll love this place. Its like a subway for salads only way better. Ive been here a handful of times and I’ve enjoyed my experience every time. Every time I come here there is more added to the menu which is a plus. They have lots of salads to order that are pre designed but as a salad expert and a girl who knows what she wants in a salad… I make my own. Be prepared to spend $ 10-$ 15 dollars on your salad though. Since I make my own and load it up with everything I want, it tends to add up. BUT, you will be full. The salads are a nice size and it also comes with a side of their homemade seeded bread! Their ingredients are so fresh and healthy it really makes me feel O. K with spending that amount on a salad. I put things like quinoa and avocado and crispy brussel spouts in mine but the options are endless! They have multiple cheeses, veggies, proteins, nuts, and the list goes on. Their dressings are another favorite of mine. They even started to sell them! Im in love with their beet greek dressing so the last time I was in I bought a jar of it for about $ 10. If you’re not that into salads don’t worry, they have other options like soups and parfaits and chips. They also have raw juice and kombuchas. This place is a great go to lunch spot when you want to feel good about what you’re eating! The costumer service has always been excellent as well. I always end up making conversation with employees. Last time I was in I was telling the woman at the register how much I loved the dressings and the bread and she gave me a whole loaf for free! I love when places go above and beyond for customers. I sometimes wish they had more people working the line at times though. We have had to wait like 10 minutes before when there were only two people in line. Since its smack-dab right in downtown next to tons of offices, be prepared to wait in line during peek lunch times. It seems there is a lot of people who walk over to 7 greens to get something to take back to the office. Parking is available in the Z lot(right next door) but I usually try and find places to park on the street.

A solid lunch option for downtown Detroit. I love the yoga girl salad, and I get it maybe twice a month. Why not get it more? Well, it’s because of the cost. The cost of a salad is $ 8+, depending on the ingredients. And yes, it’s great high quality ingredients and the portions are huge. So, I don’t mind coming here once in a while and feeling super healthy in the meantime. Tip: you can place your order online and pick it up in the store within 20 minutes.

Everyone calm down! Fresh, high quality ingredients come with a price. This place is awesome and has very unique combinations that will make your taste buds dance and your blood pressure smile. Take into account that a salad like«the yoga girl» has roasted brussel sprouts and roasted beets in it. A salad at subway probably costs around $ 7 or $ 8??? You pay for quality. I might even say 7 Greens is underpriced for what you get. I love this place! The food is excellent, nutritious, and tasty. If you are looking for a cheap bite with a mediocre vibe, this is not your place. If you want whole food with a funky fun environment then check it out! It’s really a wonderful addition to downtown Detroit!

What a great, fun, fresh place! It is tempting to burn through all the good intentions with exotic add-ons. We were one of the first groups there at 11a and by 11:45 the place was in full swing and carry outs in all directions. Great ‘tone’. The side of bread was mostly whole kernels of something great. It seems like a ‘right’ alternative. In fact, now that I think about it, it was almost too good. I am going to have to investigate calorie count as well as tastiness. As an added bonus you look across the steet at the Skillman Library — there is a bronze door to the«Newspaper Room» The Wealth of the Mind is the only True Wealth. This little Library Street Rocks.

This place is awesome, although a bit pricey. The salads are delicious, and I could eat here most everyday. The Yoga Girl is delicious. The only reason I rated this place four stars instead of five is that they tend to close earlier than the posted 7pm.

Simple, delicious, hefty portions, trendy, and healthy. Will be back soon. I tried the Woodward Cruise salad, and one of their made-in-house bottled juices. A little more expensive than I thought, but worth it.

Best salad tossers in the salad(well minus the good folks at Michigan State Prison…) Honestly one of the best salads I’ve ever had, everything is fresh, they have loads of options, and they have gluten free desserts as well. It’s a little pricy but fresh ingredients aren’t cheap and well worth it.

Great salad, but not worth the money. Went to 7 Greens this week for lunch with some co-workers and ended up paying $ 14 for a salad without chicken, all because I added pita chips to it! This is ridiculous! Do I pay $ 4 extra for peppers at Subway?!? I think not… Very disappointed in how they handle«extra» toppings…

This is HANDSDOWN the best salad place I’ve ever been to AND my absolute favorite lunch spot! They are pricey(i typically soend $ 12 – 15), but when you taste it, I promise you will forget about the price! The space is small so probably don’t plan to dine in lol! There’s maaaaaybe seating for 10 – 15 ppl inside. Tons of variety! Everything us SUPERFRESH! This place is consistently amazing! You must try: The Bertie(that tuna is EVERYTHING… And the dressing is LIFE) The Bulgarian Feta… YASSSSSSSS The Beet Greek Sauce… I want to put it on everything And the owner is SONICE! She totally deserves for this place to blow up… I hope they get a larger space!

I went to 7 greens last week for lunch with three of my co-workers. It’s the type of establishment that you order your salad and they prep it for you as you go — «subway style.» So I created my own salad — romaine and spinach with cucumbers, peppers, green onions and added brussel sprouts, chicken and bacon. I also had a champagne vinaigrette. The salad was great, but it was also $ 15. We ate at the location. I would be back because of the brussel sprouts, but it is really pricey for a salad in my opinion.
