Subway

While the the young lady was nice, the manager (who started serving my order) was horribly rude. He kept saying that he shouldn’t have to answer to any one and repeatedly ignored my requests about my sandwich. Part way through putting the meat on my sandwich, he turned around and spent three or four minutes moving breads around, even though another employee was in the process of doing it. I wouldn’t have minded that part so much, but there was 6 or 7 people lined up behind me and they definitely did mind. After he finished the meat on my sandwich, he went in back and proceeded to yell at some one the rest of my visit.
The aforementioned young lady was polite and did my veggies and sauce nicely.
The cashier, however, ignored me for several minutes while he just walked back and forth texting. He did at least say, «One sec», but it’s a business.
If it wasn’t for the fact that the young lady was nice and the fact that the sub was good, it would be a one star place.

nope, never eating subway again. this one or otherwise.

they ran out of the sandwich i wanted (how does that even happen) and then i asked for a chicken bacon ranch.
1) they sprayed my bread with something. they had some kind of unlabeled spray bottle and sprayed my bread with it. please, label it, for your own good
2) they put my entire sandwich in the microwave.
3) it took almost 15 minutes. they had to get a new bag of lettuce and wait for it to be done in the microwave and everything.
i asked for napkins and they gave me a single napkin, just one.
at this point i didn’t even want to eat the sandwich. ever since, subways in all locations seem repulsive.

this is the location near woodward ave. stay clear of this location. I’ve actually reported them to subway for their rudeness. the bulletproof forehead high glass is a huge impediment to ordring.
the sandwich makers are rude. your sandwich never looks like the pics on their menu. the parking in the daytime is at meters and extremely limited.
if you’re smart you’ll drive a few blocks closer to the one at warren and Beaubian — in the supermarket parking lot. see my review please.

Usually I’m quite fond of Subway. I love the veggie and cheese subs with a side of carrots and yogurt, yum! But this subway is nasty. The floor, counters and windows are filthy. I once saw the guy behind the counter sneeze all over the food and then ask me what I wanted to order. GROSS!
