This place has such great coffee and tea options. Everything I’ve tried so far has been tasty and just perfect! The last time I was there, the barista was brewing up some chai tea that wasn’t from a store bought container and is smelled heavenly! The shoppe layout is cost and well designed for customers to relax and talk. The cool penny bar also added to the ambience! I’d highly highly recommend checking this spot out if you haven’t before!

This place has good coffee, it’s small and cozy. It’s out of the way of busy route 30, They make delicious Lattes. There are so many different beans to try– they will brew any one that you want on the Trifecta which does one cup at a time of the bean of your choice. They also have vacuum pot, aeropress, etc. They roast on the premises.

Amazing indie 4th-wave coffeehouse. They roast their own beans and have a variety of single-cup brewing processes, including areopress and vacuum pot. Also excellent lattes and other coffee drinks. Nitro Coffee is available as well, one of the few places in the western main line to offer it. Some of the baristas will make cute latte art on request — be sure to ask! In comparison to the amazing coffee offerings, the baked good selection is mediocre and tends to run out by early afternoon, although the sandwiches are decent. Don’t get the couissoint, its not very good.

This place deserves 4.5 stars. Many options, including a trifecta machine, aero press, and a vacuum pot(forgot what it’s called) plus kind baristas to explain what all these things are. You can just a drip or one of their specialty roasts, and it’s not intimidating or hipster so no pressure to be fancy. Plus fresh pastries + a basket of 40% off day old pastries, lots of comfortable seating, tons of windows, a nice clean bathroom, what more could I ask for? My husband and I are staying at the Marriott in Devon and this will be our go to place since it’s just .1 mile away and opens at 6am — no excuses here.

The regular coffee and the chai tea lattes are yummy. They have nonfat milk and I believe soy as well. You can buy yummy sweet potato muffins that they get from Sweet Jazzmine’s in Berwyn. Most of the time the baristas are nice and yes they are knowledgeable. It’s really a cute place and a nice place to relax(if you can find a seat). If you prefer decaffeinated coffee, this isn’t the place for you.

You can go ahead and forget the city, Pour Richard’s has the best coffee in the area hands down. It is so good it has been known to quell even the loudest of coffee apostates. How can coffee be this good? Well: The owner has trade relations with farmers in origin countries and roasts those very same beans in shop. There are over 20 entirely distinct flavors of coffee to choose from, along with multiple brewing methods, each of which will affect the flavor profile of that specific roast. Many choices for espresso drinks, whether it be hot or iced. «Bean of the week» allows you to switch up your favorite espresso drink on a weekly basis which is a fun way to try the same drink, differently. Staff is extremely knowledgeable and approachable. It is abundantly clear that everyone involved with this endeavor loves coffee, and loves serving coffee. And you, dear reader, also love being served coffee. So stop reading this and go to Pour Richard’s. It’s THAT good. Non-coffee related review: above average sandwiches and absurdly delicious pastries. Overshadowed by the coffee but formidable in their own right.

The coffee was delicious. The décor was cool. It’s just not a place where I would go on the regular, it’s kind of hidden away so I wouldn’t even know it exists if it weren’t for Unilocal.Definitely a hipster, or even yuppie, place to go.

This was an unexpected coffee experience! The coffee shop is in little town, about a forty minute drive from downtown Philadelphia, off the beaten path away form the main avenue in Berwyn. As soon as you as you arrive you can appreciate the work and also the investment that went to this place to make it look and feel comfortable attracting both the young and the mature clientele; at the same time it has this rustic-cabin like feel that simply makes you want to stay and and lounge for a while and church up on some email work on your phone maybe. Also this place has interesting touches such as the bath moron sings and the the penny decorated bar that gives it a unique look and atmosphere. Getting to the coffee, because no matter how great or trendy the place is, it’s all about the syrupy black liquid that comes out of those marvels of machines! Being the morning I started with a 6oz cappuccino, the taste was delicious, strong and bold not being taken over by the sweetness of the milk. I could still make the taste of the chocolaty notes of the espresso which is a great thing(thunder lightning) is their own roast of that they use for espresso extracted off a beautiful Syneso machine. My next was with the Trifecta, I find that this machines are expensive for what they deliver, for example I would rather have a brew on a pour over with a Chemex or a V-60 than a trifecta. I had their Salvador Monte Alto which are very good beans, on the sweet side with vanilla and honey favor notes, this is one of my favorites however like always the Trifecta has not a positive note from me, too hot and robbed the delicate flavors of the coffee. The reason for the four star instead of a five, is because of the baristas, even though they are knowledgeable and great at what they do, they are not in that level of customer service. They are very good with locals, friendly and have recommendations and make small pleasant talk, but with newcomers like myself are a bit distant and unease. One of the baristas did had a few recommendations and asked if I like my trifecta brew(I did but that machine is simply not my favorite). it could be the morning or it could be that they are very young… they could also try to have their station and espresso machine cleaner. In any case I would love to see them in the next level, because for sure their coffee is. THISPLACEISWORTHIT… This is in small words the review: great place, great coffee and ask for you brew to be in the Chemex or the exotic balance syphon Brewer! I will come next weekend :) It was a new girl barista and she definitely is plus to this place, super friendly and with a huge bright smile! She had also working energy with one of the other guy barista who is also friendly there. The down side of it is that the Cubano is not really a Cafecito Cubano(Cuban espresso, is nothing more than the first drops of the espresso with sugar and than mixed as its extracting the rest) the one they made was just an espresso with a little bit of cold milk. They did it with such smiles and they do have great drop coffee and Method brewing to keep coming back too though :)

Pour Richards offers an exceptional educational experience when it comes to coffee. Their shop is a rare find. They offer high quality roasted beans which produce an exceptional cup of coffee(I could never drink coffee black before tasting theirs!). My only complaint is in the management. Job seekers please be careful as this is a newer company and the owners are not business savy regarding hiring practices. I was offered $ 10 an hour for a position that was posted by their company for $ 30,000 annual salary after I had interviewed for 10 hours over a span of 3 weeks and put my job search on hold. My advice would be to be very upfront so time is not wasted on their end or yours. Overall they are great. We all have room to improve and grow!

Cute café. Good selection of teas & coffee. Pastries, soup, sandwiches. I got cubano and apple strudel. Cubano was excellent, apple strudel a little too sweet for my taste. Will definitely come again.

I bought a roast beef sandwich. I got home 3 minutes later I opened it up and a foul smell was coming from the sand which.? so I took a bite thinking maybe the roast beef mixed with horseradish sauce made this smell. I spit it out and immediately realized the roast beef was either Torres or just old and foul. I’m very familiar with food and lunch meat. This is unacceptable and flat out horrible that you keep your sliced roast beef in a mini fridge. nothing was made to order my quiche was taken from the display and put in a toaster sane with the vegetable egg sandwich. I will never go here again.

This is my favorite coffee joint near my work. I go here at least two days a week, sometimes 3, which unfortunately is depleting my wallet. The place has banging coffee and good pastries. Service is friendly and fast. I often come here to work when our office’s Internet is down and they never mind. I have also tried their sandwiches and they are very good– fresh ingredients and good bread! It also seems to be where all the main liners go after their workouts. Bottom line– stop giving your money to Starbucks

This is a nice place for a coffee, comfortable surroundings and close to my office in Devon. Coffee is roasted on site and is tasty without being bitter. They do offer sandwiches, salads which they get from a deli in in Wayne. Less busy than Starbucks.

Relaxingly decorated in a modernish colonial style. Comfortable seating. Artwork adorns the walls. Warm, cozy on this cold wintry day. STAFF: Excellent, passionate about their products, knowledgeable and very friendly. No snobbiness or pretension here. Full parking and easily reached off route 30. I had a cardamon and clove tea and a day old pastry that was 40 percent off and totally fine. Good background music is playing and it adds to the atmosphere rather than being obtrusive. I drove 12 miles to try this. Totally enjoyed Pour Richards. I will be back.

Honestly, the coffee is truly amazing. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. If I wasn’t taking the coffee to work, I’d love to hang out there. The atmosphere is welcoming and the chairs are more comfortable than my kitchen chairs! It’s great to have a local coffee shop nearby. Love that there is parking. That’s a bonus.
