Whenever we are back in the South, we hunt down Lord’s country cured meats… can’t get ‘em here in California. Both Kroger’s and Ingles in Atlanta carry them. We used to buy whole hams but they are too big for suitcases and overhead racks in airplanes. Now we spend a little more, get the slices of country ham and cured sides(No refrigeration needed!) and bring ‘em home. Yummm — and I don’t have to bone out the whole hams anymore!
