Incredible Indian food. You can truly taste the love when eating here. Everything is handmade when you order it and worth the short wait. The owners are as warm as the food the serve… this place is a MUST.

I used to work next door to this place and would come here for an afternoon snack. Their samosas are bomb! It’s nicely fried with a golden brown exterior and comes with a side of sweet and spicy sauce. The chat is great as a sick day remedy. My coworker loves their coffee. Lots of great vegetarian options at an affordable price. I used to think I didn’t like Indian food cause of the pungent aroma of the spices but this place has opened me up to other options that I didn’t know existed. And the owners are the sweetest people you can meet!

Going to this restaurant feels like visiting family. Uncle and Aunty are one of the nicest people I have ever met. This experience only gets better with the delicious food they serve. If you are looking for food that is not greasy or overly spicy, easy on the stomach and enjoyable to the palate, this is the place for you. I always prefer Non-Vegetarian food when it comes to eating out, but this is one place that is an exception. The coffee here is a must try; beats Starbucks hands down.

When you arrive you are greeted by the sweetest little lady at the counter who has plenty of time to chat with you. If you’re not familiar with Indian cuisine this is an excellent starting point as she will walk you through all of the questions you have and even suggest some things for you to try. It’s a simple layout and isn’t much to look at but that’s not the point of good food don’t let the external shell fool you! The food itself was spectacular and I wouldn’t change a thing it was full of flavor and delicious! If you want Indian food without a high price tag this is the place!!!

A small restaurant filled with the love of a couple. You feel ur back home to have food. We ordered dosa, idly, vada combo and uttapam, idly, vada combo. The moment it arrived, I felt right at home. The food was served super hot and very freshly made. The sambar was delicious and the vada was fluffy, crispy and made of fresh batter. The dosa was very well prepared and the uttapam was tasty but lil thick. As the food went cold over time, I was finding it difficult to have the uttapam which could have been little thinner and crisper. The idly was good but not the best I had. I was lil surprised to see red liquid chutney and light green cocunut chutney instead of the regular white coconut chutney, tomato onion chutney and mint chutney. I later learnt from my friend that these 2 chutneys are the ones prepared by iyer families. The couple is lovely and you are treated as a family member. Love you aunty uncle. Ordered the Tikki Chat yesterday and was so good I’m back today but ordered the Gobi Paratha(bread stuffed with cauliflower). Haven’t been served yet to review. The gentleman that helped me yesterday and today is extremely nice and hospitable !

Cute little spot my cousin and I found on Unilocal. We ordered the Dahi puri(which had a savory and sweet taste), veg pakoras(light and savory), and Bhel puri(savory and tasty). We shared everything and only spent about $ 6 each and still had some left to take home. I’ve always wanted to try Northern Indian cuisine and this is definitely a yummy and welcoming place. Geetha and Mark were friendly and the service was awesome.

This place is owned and managed by an elderly couple and they are super nice and friendly. I ordered the vegetarian thalidomide and got three curries, rice, roti, a vegetable dish, papad and some pickle. The food was really good and home cooked to perfection. It’s been a long time that I have tasted some decent food. To finish it I got done coffee and it was south indian style i.e. filter coffee. I wish I lived closer but I will definitely check it more often.

We come here at least once a month and every single visit is a delight. The owners are always warm and welcoming. They added a few new items to the menu. Samosa chaat and masala dosa is a MUST for us. We tried their new rice dish combo and it’s really tasty. This review is for new photos I took!!!

I’ve been here countless of times and I’m not sure why it has taken me till now to write this review. I’ve had my share of Indian food growing up. Nothing beats this place, ever thing is make from scratch and the service is superb. Can’t go wrong with this place just about everything on the menu is tasty. Anytime you are craving Indian I would recommend this place!

I don’t know the names of the dishes we order, but all I know is that whatever the kitchen brings us, it is a guaranteed party-in-my-mouth. They don’t cut corners and the flavors are amazing! The 4 winners that I remember are: 1) taco-like shells with a cold sweet cilantro vinaigrette 2) fresh French bread served with a potato-based curry(?) and raw onions 3) A huge pyramid of fried potato stuffed with cheese 4) cheese paratha! The best part of your experience is talking with the owner. He is so jolly and funny and will make your experience unforgettable. This place isn’t glamorous at all but will quickly forget that after taking your first bite.

Great spot for vegetarians who need something fresh and new at a good price. Good for anyone else who wants to try something new that is not too heavy. The food here is made per order, not buffet style, so you may wait a bit but it’s fresh. Taste is great and the worker was helpful in explaining the large menu and what was popular. Service was prompt and polite, everything is brought to you full service even though it has a take out vibe. Staff was polite but not intrusive. The restaurant itself is not going to win any design awards but that just shows they are focused more on the food. Again, the price is very reasonable so not really a big deal.

My friend took me here when I was a vegetarian during that time frame and even though it’s a drive from home, I’m glad I did! I always had the typical Indian curry before so everything they have here is different and unique. Not to mention cheap too! Our lunch was only $ 15 for two and that included a mango lassi already. The place open at 11 and we were early that day but the boss ran late so don’t come exact on time now! We were the only one there at that time but saw a lot of people come in for lunch after that. Everyone seems to be regulars and very fond of their customer service. And the service was awesome. |#5 Veg Samosa| $ 1/piece I’ve tried samosa before and I’m not a fan of it in general so I wasn’t digging this. But it was crunchy and good though. It also comes with sweet & spicy sauce on the side. |#9 Dahi Puri| $ 4.29 They have four different type of puri but my friend suggested this one. And it was definitely something I never had before. Very interesting but quite delicious I must say! Its stuffed with beans, potatoes, sweet and spicy sauce and covered with yogurt. The sauce was a bit sweet so I added some spicy sauce they gave us for the samosa. And also minced onions helped lessen the sweetness as well. |#17 Masala Dosa| $ 5.49 I’ve always had crêpe for dessert before so this was my first time with rice and potatoes. I don’t recall it has rice in it though or maybe very minimal of it. But I also enjoyed this dish too! The crêpe was thin and very crispy! My only complaint is the sauce to dip it with. The coconut dip was too thick and didn’t go well with it. It also comes with a bowl of soup but it was a tad salty that day so I didn’t have much.

As everyone else is writing, I must agree that the owners of this place are the sweetest people you’ll ever get to interact with at a restaurant. They’re very attentive and genuine. The ambiance of this place is casual, doesn’t have an overwhelming Indian food smell that sticks to your clothes, and the price is very affordable. They only serve vegetarian food, just so you know. My favorites here are: –Pani Puri –Samosas –Madras Coffee(the absolute best) –Masala Chai –Halva Puri Also, cool fact, they play Hindi songs from the 90s so it makes you feel nostalgic for the era of like Maduri Dixit and Salman khan, etc :)

Is the dress blue or white? I really don’t know, but I DO know this place has the BEST Indian food in the vicinity. For twenty some odd years, I thought I didn’t like Indian food. Most of my experiences was eating food that used too many spices & my stomach didn’t agree with it. At India Coffee & Snacks, I learned to appreciate & love Indian food. I’m a part time vegetarian, & I’m usually picky about vegetarian food, but the food here always leaves me more than satisfied. Also, everything is prepared very fresh daily. Things to try: 1. Pakora(lightly fried & very crispy) 2. Samosas: Made fresh everyday. They do run out very quickly, so get ‘em while you can! 3. Sambar The best part of coming here is the owners, Geetha & Mark. They are genuinely nice & welcoming. They know their regulars by first name basis(myself included). I’ve even seen Geetha carrying a customer’s baby trying to soothe it while the parents were eating. If that’s not amazing customer service, I really don’t know what is! Overall, this is the place to go to for good food & good service.

— Locale Destination — It’s on Golden Springs Dr and Diamond Bar Blvd in Diamond Bar. It’s in a shopping plaza but kinda confusing to find this spot. I think it’s an one-long-shopping plaza, but it’s divided into 2 sections vaguely. Not the entrance right by the Diamond Bar Blvd on Golden Springs Dr. You need to drive a little away from Diamond Bar Blvd and the 2nd entrance to this shopping center… Check my pictures. Once you get into the right side of the shopping center, you’ll see this place right in front of you. They are located right next to Indian grocery market«Rani’s World Foods». It’s not a restaurant. But it looks like a typical pop & mom place. Inside is just simple, a little vacant, outdated, and nothing special. The owners are super sweet. They offer light Indian snacks and some drinks, but they could be filling. The pricing is inexpensive, relatively wide varieties on the menu, and the portion size is small — good for snacks. If you want something light, this is definitely a good choice. Plenty of parking. — Gluttony Expedition — Tikki: it’s like a samosa without the hard skin — but very simple mushed potato. Nice crunchiness outside. I like to eat with chutney(not spicy). $ 0.99/one. Sev puri: «Puri» is kinda like a bite size deep fried tortilla. It’s topped with beans, potato, sauces(sweet&spicy) and sev(super tiny dry noodles). «Sev» makes a mess. Interesting appetizer, but it’s just ok. 8 puris. Masala dosa: The crêpe was a little thicker than what I had in Artesia. The stuffing(seasoned mushed potato) got interesting«Indian» flavors and a little spicy. Both dipping sauces were spicy, fresh and got good flavors. The side spicy soup was too spicy without dosa. Good as a whole! Mango Lassi: The mango lassi here wasn’t so sweet and good. — Conqueror’s Deduction — Very inexpensive, good quality food, light portion, convenient(you don’t need to go to Artesia to get good Indian food) and super friendly owners. Why not you like?

I can’t in good conscious write a bad review for this place. Not that I have a reason to but these people are so amazingly nice. You have to be evil to find something bad to say. Food is made to order so it does take a bit of time. Call ahead if you’re in a hurry. It’s really affordable. Most items run from $ 4 to $ 9. Pani puri 3.99 — comes with the crispy ball thingies and boiled potatoes and chickpeas. You crack the ball and spoon in filling and top it with the green juice. I think it’s made of cilantro and jalapeños. Gobi paratha 4.99 — flat wheat bread with chopped cauliflower and green peppers. Get extra spicy! It’s so good. Filling. Clean. Perfectly spiced. IT’S SOGOOD! Everything here is delicious. Everyone here is so nice. Even the Mexican workers come in and the owners are like«como esta» and they are all«hola bonita!». I don’t know if this is the very best Indian food but the feels here are so good.
