Inside of Hmart! Katsu Curry($ 8.65): Slices of deep fried pork cutlet over a bed of white rice and curry with onions, carrots, potato. Curry definitely had a spicy kick to it at the end! Along with the curry also came a little side of kimchi and a bowl of miso soup. I ordered something to-go at one of the other restaurants close by so we only ordered one dish here. I was about to ask the clerk for another set of utensils and realized she had already included it for us! Bonus points for you, giiiiirl.

A little bit of everything, but not much of anything. That’s how my mom described it, and it actually plays for this place. Their menu boasts many different options and combinations, there’s something for everyone. However the execution, is just a-ok. One of the bright spots about this spot is the convenience it offers. Order some food, get your groceries done, and by the time you’ve finished shopping you got your lunch or dinner waiting for ya. My biggest recommendation is to order something from their menu that you’d have difficulty making at home. For me, that’s one of their katsu plates or katsu don. Industrial fryer ftw. If you’re in a jam this place is a great spot to grab some grub and go. If you’re looking for a gastronomical revelation… nah bro.

Love everything here! My favorite ddukbokggi is the bomb. They have a ddukbokggi combo with fried dumplings and soondae. They even give odeng soup for free! I love tuna sashimi bibimbap and donkatsu curry rice, too. I highly recommend this little place in the H Mart food court.

If you’re looking for a quick, nice, hassle-free meal, look no further than Mix Mi right inside HMart in Diamond Bar. This place is so conveniently located inside the store, that you can place your order, pick up their buzzer, and shop while you wait for your food. I love their udon soup, really tasty and big portions too! Boyfriend likes their spicy seafood noodle soup. They have lots of dishes to choose from, and the prices are super affordable. HMart is smart to convert a portion of their area into their very own food court. Its a great way to invite additional foot traffic to their store. So if you are just craving for something to eat, head on over here and get your«food trip» mode on.

Super convenient place to grab lunch or dinner, especially if you’re going to go grocery shopping! Part of the little food court inside of H-Mart. I got the spicy pork bento box(#12) and my mom got the spicy seafood noodle soup(#21). Both entrees had pretty big portions and the flavor was there! I’m also not Korean, so I don’t know how it will hold up to their standards, but to me, everything seemed very good. Definitely coming back to try their spicy rice cakes/ramen and the Korean sausage! Good place to grab something quick to eat! *Note: it does get pretty busy on the weekends during lunch time, so if you don’t plan on eating there, place your order, go grab some groceries, and come back! They give you a buzzer to let you know when the food is out!

We had a quick lunch. My sister had bibimbap. I had the kalbi bento. Both are pretty good for the price. Kalbi was great. Like their kimchi, too. The japchae was too oily. Portion was big. You can get really full for under $ 10.

Food is ok/good. But the employees are a little mindless. Both times I took food to go, they forgot something… although it was minor, it still should be mentioned. The first time, it was the katsu sauce for the donkatsu. How can I eat donkatsu w/out the sauce??? Half the meal is dependent on that sauce LOL! The second time, they forgot the side curry I ordered. Sad again… So inspect your order before you go home and realize something important is missing! Also, if you want a side of rice, they will charge you $ 1.69. And the side is small. Usually, Korean restaurants don’t charge for an additional rice, but this place does.

Came here for a quick lunch while my mom needed to do some grocery shopping, I love h Mart’s food court, there’s just so many options! Mix mi especially, I’m a Korean foodie fanatic that’s for sure and I was literally staring at the menu for the longest time because I didn’t know what to get… the struggle is real. I ended up getting soondubu jigae for these cold winter days and my mom got her usual stone pot bibimbap, the food was decent. Portions come in good sizes, with a side of kimchi with every meal(kimchi is on point though) my mom was complaining about how there was so little meat in her bibimbap :(the soondubu was really filling, it came with a lot of seafood and it was good, but not great. It was not spicy at all, they don’t have a spice level option which I think they should, the lack of spice made the soup a bit bland. I applaud them for still selling naengmyeon in winter though! I swear sometimes I just crave it and you can never find it anywhere during wintertime(I swore I almost got it this time too). Great variety of menu items from Katsus, curries, soups, bibimbaps, bento boxes, and all sorts of different Korean favorites like ddukbokki, soondae, and oden.

Nested inside the Super Hmart, you’ll spot this place on the corner once you swing to the right of the building. A modern looking finish to the look of the menu and cashier station. I ordered one of the combos, which I could have sworn was a Chom-pong/Nang-Myun combo, but instead of the nang-myun was Jajang Myun. either way I like them both so no complain. Both noodle dishes were done really well. Both dishes are a specialty, as in there are restaurants that only make this stuff and are well known for it. This place makes other dishes, but both the chom-pong and jajang myun ranks up there with the specialist! High praise for doing this well and providing such an exceptional meal. Periodically you’ll find a hidden gem in these food courts, I usually would say its the mon-du specialized places that exceed in these places because that’s all they do. Most other restaurants are average or below. Yet I was happy with what I got and hopefully I can get that jajang myun in the near future!

I’ve only been here once for a jjampong and jjajjamein craving. Craving definitely satisfied! The first person helping us at the cashier was friendly and the food came out relatively quick. Although the food had flavor, they had like an «instant”-like taste. This may be like one to two levels higher than instant ramen and jjapaghetti hahah, totally comfort food. My mom really didn’t like the two dishes and kind of vowed to never come back(it was too salty and flavorless in her opinion, and also not as cheap as we expected of food court meals). ehh, I’d still probably come occasionally if my cravings are undeniable. 3-stars because the 2nd person at the cashier was rude and ignored me while talking on the phone(NOT business-food related). Then she just walked away while I tried to patiently wait for her. –_– RUDE

A wide selection of food in the food court. 70% of the people in the food court go here since they serve most of the main dishes and other vendors serve side items. I have gone here consistently and tried their katsu donburi(fried pork chop over bed of egg /onion simmered in sweet soy sauce over rice), champon(korean spicy seafood noodle soup), gyoza(dumplings), soon do boo(spicy soft boiled tofu soup with seafood), galbitang(bone-in short rib soup). All the food were quite good, however sometimes the quality and the consistency might suffer a bit depending on how busy they are and how many people are waiting for food. You can pay cash or pay 25 cents to use credit card.

Ughh! My better judgment told me not to eat here, especially after not perusing Unilocal reviews first. I did notice an «A» letter grade and was hoping to find an authentic spot since there were all Korean people eating here. Be forewarned: I ended up getting a mild case of food poisoning and was also burping up the nasty garlic flavors for hours… yuck! We were in the area and wanted a quick lunch so we stopped in. My husband had been here once before and had no problems. I have always wanted to try bibimbap and they serve it here. He ordered the bento box with kalbi and I ordered the bibimbap with beef. The order took a few minutes to come out which was fine by me. Seating is located in a little food plaza inside H Mart Supermarket. The first thing I noticed when I got my order of bibimbap was all of the toppings were room temperature, even the meat(which was very finely chopped and not flavorful at all). I found this strange for a hot dish but maybe they are supposed to warm up in the hot bowl? There was also just a tablespoonful worth of meat in the bowl so the guy actually brought out some more for me since it was such a small portion. For almost $ 10 I was disappointed with the quality and quantity of meat. The flavors were good and I actually enjoyed the experience of eating bibimbap but I can guarantee I will never be back based on my first visit here. 2 stars instead of 1 star only because my husband did not get an upset tummy and nasty bloated feeling like I did.

We were shopping in the Super H Mart and peeked over the barriers around the food court. Made a spur of the moment decision to eat there. Jajangmyun! I love this dish. It always comes with some pickled daikon. I really like their version of this dish. It’s a big serving with plenty of onions & zucchini in the sauce and topped with julienned cucumbers. On the side were extra onions & sauce to oomph it up and also some kimchi. My husband tried some and really liked this«Korean spaghetti». Brought half of it home for him to polish off later. He ordered a pork katsu plate and thought it was just okay. Filled him up, but for him, one scoop of rice isn’t enough and he had to buy an extra bowl. We were eating at the table right across from their big picture menu and were both pointing out dishes we’d like to try on our next visit. The soup menu looked really good and first up for me will be the short rib. The food was plentiful and the prices were very reasonable. Yup, we’ll be back!

This place is amazing! The food was so good and authentic for a reasonable price! We enjoyed the sticky rice and the seafood udon! It was really good and we will def be making a trip back as soon as possible lol. The sitting area is also really nice it’s like a mini mall. I love it!

Food: I ordered a Jajangmyeon. I typically like this dish since it’s a pretty simple noodle dish with thick soybean paste, served with mince beef and veggies. Food rating: 3.5÷5 Price: Expect to pay about $ 7 but cash only~ Overall: Quick comfort food that I like but cash only

— Locale Destination– It’s on Diamond Bar Blvd and Cold Spring Ln in Diamond Bar. It’s in the food court of the Korean supermarket, right next to «Melt». Menu: Katsu(deep fried breaded pork), soondubu, bibimbap, noodle etc. Pretty wide menu and most around $ 8. Service: Very nice Korean ladies, which is rare at Korean restaurants in general. Very quick. You order and pay at the register. You eat at the communal tables for the food court. You’ll leave your tray with dirty dishes in the communal tram. Cleanness: the window/kitchen seemed clean. The table side could be a little cleaner. You see flies but this place has constant door opening due to the supermarket. It’d be hard for them to be 100% fly free. Credit card usage: $.25 surcharge for under $ 10 credit card usage. It’s safer to bring cash. Parking: plenty — Gluttony Expedition — #16 spicy seafood Soondubu: Actually not bad for the food court food. Good kimchi on the side, decent broth, steaming hot(temp wise), nice presentation, good chunks of seafood, around $ 8. — Conqueror’s Deduction — I think all the places in the food court is a little overpriced. Mandoo(dumpling) place and snack place etc. — $ 6 for Korean sushi roll(with vegetable and sesame oil)?! Give me a break. You’ll find them those under $ 5 everywhere else. Considering that, this place isn’t bad. At least you get wide selections. I prefer this to «Melt» right next to it. It’s not that great to the point to make me think«I’ll come here for sure», but decent.

Had a cold so I was looking for some soup. Went with the dumpling soup– turns out my wife loved it and so did my 11 month baby! Huge dumplings with glass noodle and egg. Subtle in flavor and very soothing. Meal comes with Kim chee and pickled cabbage(green). Stoked that my son loved the soup.

I must’ve came on an off day because my friend hyped this place up as one of the best naengmyun spots in the area. Mix Mi is located inside the HMart food court and is probably the biggest vendor in the market. Every item on the menu is categorized as a «mix.» Example: Noodle mix, soup mix, etc. Jjin Mandu — 8 massively-sized steamed dumplings filled with bits of beef and a medley of vegetables. The dumpling skin was borderline overly done as the dumpling would fall apart as we picked them while being transferred to our respective plates. Aside from that, the contents were marvelous. Mul Neng Myun — Either the noodles were old or the noodles were undercooked because they were in clumps and clearly messy. Their buckwheat noodles were hard to chew apart but the broth was decent. It had a slight mention of savoriness which could’ve used some more flavoring. It barely did it’s job. I’ll have to come back to give this place another shot. My friends were swearing up and down that the naengyum is normally way better.

Located inside H-mart near Deli Manjoo and Awoolim Kimbap Factory. I got their curry pork katsu for $ 8.56. They do give a side of rice, salad with italian dressing, kimchi and miso soup with your entrée. Their curry tasted different from other places but it was good, kinda buttery tasting to me. Their chicken was hot and crispy with not a heavy bread coating with plenty of curry in top. Lots of parking.
